Arrests
9/31/05 Gary Oulman Jr. of Buchanan was charged out of general sessions court with theft of property and on numerous warrants for violation of the bad check law. A handgun was reported stolen from Hwy 69N residences. The victim stated that he was moving to a new location and while he was moving the revolver, valued at $350, was taken from the home.

9/30/05 Charles Williams of Paris was arrested for failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas Pruitt of Gleason TN was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault. Hollyann
Harrison of Paris was arrested on a warrant for theft of property.
A mini bike was stolen from the porch of a Tanglewood Drive residence.
The bike was valued at $600.
The Sheriff’s office received a report of the theft of a 2-wheeled
trailer from a Hwy 79S residence.

and criminal attempt to manufacture a controlled substance.
Jeremy Darnell of Tennessee Ridge was arrested on 2 warrants for failure

Steven Gibbs of Bruceton was arrested on a warrant for theft of property
over $500.
Josh Gallimore of Paris was charged with failure to appear and violation
of the bad check law.
Angela Youngblood of Jack Younger Lane was charged with a misdemeanor
harassment.
Linda Hyte of Murray was arrested on a warrant for violation of
probation.
David Johnson of Paris was arrested on Tyson Ave. for leaving the scene
of an accident, a felony evading arrest and reckless endangerment.
Terrence Ervin was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license.
Kenyada Guthrie of Henry was arrested for driving on a suspended
driver’s license.
Jessica Salmon of Springville was charged with theft of property over
$1,000.
A Palestine Rd resident reported being contacted by a collection agency
for an overdue Direct TV bill. The
outstanding bill was in a name unknown to the victim but had the victim’s
address and social security number on it.
2 TVs were reported stolen from a Whitlock Rd residence.
Entry into the home was made through a living room window.
Theft of gold jewelry was reported from a Lone Oak Rd residence.

9/28/05
Dimitri
Swift of Murray was arrested on 641N for public intoxication.
Timothy Allen of Atlantic Ave was held without bond for driving on a
revoked driver’s license, evading arrest and on a pick up mittimus for failure
to serve a jail sentence.
Dale Harvey of Jackson Mississippi was arrested by Highway Patrolman
Riley for public intoxication. A
nurse called the trooper stating that Harvey was asleep in the lobby of the
hospital and smelled strongly of alcohol.
Roosevelt Allen of Murray was charged with violation of the bad check law
and public intoxication.
Damon Lee of Paris was charged with failure to appear out of Carroll
County.
Lisa McKnight of Paris was held without bond on charges of failure to
appear and 16 counts of manufacture of a scheduled 2 drug, 17 counts of
manufacture of a scheduled 4 drug and one count of manufacture of a scheduled 3
drug.
Tools were reported stolen from a shop building in Buchanan.
The tools were valued at $340.
A lawn mower valued at $1,000 was stolen from a carport on Whitlock Rd.
Other items on the carport such as bikes and a 4 wheeler were moved to
get to the lawnmower.

9/27/05 Adam Kennedy of Puryear was held without bond early Monday morning as a fugitive from justice out of KY. Michael Gerhart of Paris was charged with DUI. Vincent Nicholas of Evansville Indiana was arrested for a 2nd DUI. Daniel Greenfield of Murray was charged with disorderly conduct and vandalism under $500 on Hwy 641N along with Tyler Farris who was also charged with criminal impersonation, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, underage possession and consumption of alcohol and vandalism under $500. Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall made the arrests early Sunday morning. Russell Roach was charged with violation of probation. Clifford Vaughn, 19, of Paris was arrested in Puryear Saturday night for underage consumption, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of legend drugs. Steven Bice, 21 of Paris was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. Curtis Page of Springville was arrested for public intoxication. Timmyco Stevenson of Paris was arrested at the Dollar General Store for public intoxication. Nannette Jenkins of Paris was arrested on Joy St and charged with domestic assault. Anthony Plano was arrested on Sloan St. for Domestic violence and held without bond. Charles Work of Buchanan was arrested by drug task force officer Thomas Tharpe and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug. 3 guns valued at $1150 were reported stolen from a Cottage Grove residence.
The Springville Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire on Saturday.
The fire is under investigation.

Charles Washum of Paris was arrested on Wednesday and held without bond
for failure to appear on a violation of an order of protection and vandalism.
Vincent Kelly of E. Blythe St. was arrested by Tomas Tharpe of the drug
task force and charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and
possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent.

General Sessions’s court.

Antonio Manri of Paris was
arrested Tuesday and charged with illegal possession and consumption.
Joseph Clarkson of Puryear was arrested Monday evening at the Minit Mart
in Puryear and charged with theft of property under $500.
Clarkson called a Yellow Cab to take him to the Minit Mart for
cigarettes. When he arrived he told the clerk he needed a money order for
$56 to pay for the cab and the cigarettes.
The clerk prepared the money order and asked Clarkson for the money.
He stated he did not have any money.
Christina Beatty of Pennsylvania was arrested on a warrant and charged
with failure to appear.
Chris Triplett of Paris was charged with theft of property over $500.
A theft was reported at a residence on Hwy 641N.
Entry was made by breaking a window by the carport.
Taken were a radio, gas cans and a weed eater.
A gun was reported stolen from a Puryear residence.
The rifle was valued at $300.

Frances Ortega of Paris was charged with assault. Regina Mitchell of
Springville was charged Friday with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent
and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fredia Gallion of Paris was charged with contributing to the delinquency
of a minor.

Mansfield was arrested on an attachment for contempt out of Chancery Court.
William McCutcheon of Paris was charged with domestic assault.
Angie Lee was charged with domestic assault.
Diana Markle of Dukedom TN was arrested Friday for fraudulent use of a
credit card.
Michael Glisson of Huntingdon was arrested on Brewer St. and charged with
DUI.
Saturday David Dycus of McKenzie was charged with DUI.
He was observed traveling down the wrong side of the roadway.
Michael English of Henry was arrested for driving on a suspended drivers
license.
Tristan Williams of Memphis was arrested for simple possession.
Justin Simmons of Paris was arrested on Saturday and charged with a
felony evading arrest reckless endangerment and possession of a scheduled 6 drug
with intent. He
was held without bond.
Lois Herndon of Paris was held without bond as a fugitive from justice.
Corey Puckett of Paris was held without bond on a warrant for failure to
appear.
Bobby Graves of Paris was arrested on Joy St were he was charged with a 4th
DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
Sunday Edricco Patton of Paris was arrested on Brown St. and held without
bond for
simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, fugitive from justice and
failure to appear.
Milton Helton of New Concord KY was held without bond for violation of
the check law.
A trailer valued at $535 was taken from Raymer Motorsports over the
weekend.
A vehicle parked at a residence on Hwy 218 caught on fire.
The mustang belonged to the resident’s son.
The vehicle’s
interior was completely burnt up.
The fire occurred in the early morning hours when the resident stated he
was awaken by the dogs barking.
The sheriff’s office reported receiving a call of a break-in at Camp
Tyson Market. The
front door glass was shattered.
Taken were packs of cigarettes.
A 16 horsepower lawnmower, valued at $1,000 was taken from a residence on
Caledonia Ext.
A residence at Hidden Acres was broken into on Saturday.
The residence awoke to find an intruder in the living room.
He knocked the woman down and ran out the door taking a purse that
contained about $15.

9/17/05 Phillip Kiefner of Cape Girardeau, MO and Adam Sexton of Carri Ill. were arrested at the 641 Club at 3am Friday and charged with underage possession and consumption of alcohol.
Brandon Ray of Benton KY was arrested at the Spider Webb in Puryear and
charged with under age possession and consumption of alcohol.

Angela Wilson of Dresden was charged with forgery.
Christopher Mabe of Cottage Grove was arrested on Wood St and charged
with DUI, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and tampering with evidence.

arrested at the Spider Web where he was charged with disorderly conduct.
The arrest occurred when Cook started a fight and broke some bar
fixtures.

Laura Taylor of Paris was charged in General Sessions court with
violation of probation.
Jason Beasley of Big Sandy was arrested for simple possession of a
scheduled 6 drug.
Evelyn Cason of Paris was arrested on Manley and charged with theft of
property and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Pamela Cogdell of Big Sandy was charged with driving on a revoked
driver’s license.

9/14/05
Gary Clemmers, 35, of Toons TN
was arrested Monday and charged with burglary auto, theft of property over $500,
violation of parole out of KY and as a fugitive from justice.
Clemmers came to a residence on Gooch Lane in Paris, brought by friends
to do work on a vehicle that was owned by a girl staying at the home.
After he was dropped off the homeowner saw him drive off in the
resident’s 1983 pickup truck.
The truck was reported stolen and Paris Police Officer Andy Bass reported that
the truck had been wrecked near McKenzie Banking Co. Clemmers left the truck and ran to Henry County Motors
where he fell down a gully, injuring his knee.
He was transported to the emergency room where he refused treatment.
Other arrests include Roman Kuykendall of Paris who was charged with
vandalism and possession of a deadly weapon.
He was arrested at Wallin Hardware and in his possession was a can of spray
paint and a 40cal. Ruger.
Johno Travis of Camden was held without bond on charges of failure to
appear.
Melanie Milliken of Jackson was arrested for violation of probation.

9/13/05 Arrests over the weekend and the beginning of this week included Laura Taylor of Paris who was charged with domestic assault.
Brian Conaley of Holliday TN was arrested for failure to appear.
Barry Owens of Paris was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.
Kimberly Wilson of Paris was charged on a warrant for failure to appear.
Marilyn Love of Camden was held without bond on charges of failure to
appear.
William Buell IV of Rabbit Creek Rd. was charged with Theft of property.
John Buell was charged with a misdemeanor theft of property.
On Saturday Angela Wilson of Dresden was charged with the fraudulent use
of a credit card.
Thomas Rousey of Camden was arrested for failure to appear to do a jail
sentence.
Walter McWherter of Paris was arrested for domestic assault. James Thorensen of
Buchanan was charged with domestic assault.
Robert Colson of Murray was arrested by a bounty hunter this weekend and
held without bond for failure to appear and as a fugitive from justice out of
KY.
Sunday morning Michael Gerhart was arrested at the Club Erotica for
public intoxication.
Henry County Sheriffs office is investigating the death of Shelly Yates
of Hwy 69S in Paris. A 911 call
stated that she was unresponsive. The
cause of death is unknown at this time but no foul play is suspected.
An estimated $1500 of damage was done to the city pool Sunday night.
According to Paris Director of Parks and Recreation, Tim
Check stated that2 cash registers were stolen, windows in the concession stand
were busted out, tools taken from the maintenance shed at the pool and chains
were cut at the gates. This makes
the 4th time this season the pool was vandalized.
3 juveniles went for a joyride over the weekend.
A 13 year old broke his bedroom window to climb out and stole his
grandmother’s car. He was joined
by 2 15-year-old friends. They told
deputies that they took turns driving the car during the night around the
Mansard Island and Trading Post area.
None of the juveniles had previous record and were sited into Juvenile
court for joyriding, driving without a license, theft of property and vandalism.

9/10/05
At 9:53 pm on Wednesday Paris Police received a 911 call of a domestic assault
on Aden St. According
to police reports a male subject had a sword as a weapon.
When officers arrived they found Timothy Houston of Paris with a samurai
sword. He
shoved the sword thru an apartment door as the female victim slammed it shut to
protect herself.
The sword went through the door, leaving a big gash.
Also involved in the dispute was a second man and another woman who was
7months pregnant.
Houston was on the roof of the apartment building and at one point held
officers at bay while taunting them to kill him.
He also had a rope wrapped around his neck and around the pregnant woman.
A fire truck and ladder was called to the scene to assist in retrieve
him. While
he was distracted the pregnant woman escaped and was given medical care for
injuries to her face and mouth, which were swollen.
Officers reported that the woman was trembling all over.
When Houston was apprehended he was taken to Hennery County Medical
Center for evaluation.
Other weapons on him included a knife stuck in his waistband and a
‘star’, described as a 5 bladed knife for throwing.
In his apartment officers discovered a bag with 3 knives in it, empty
medicine bottles and a glass pipe used for smoking narcotic drugs.
Timothy Houston was charged with aggravated domestic assault and 3rd
degree attempted murder.
He is being held without bond.

David Hall of Murray was held without bond as a fugitive from justice out
of KY.
Damien Lee of Paris was charged with aggravated burglary and evading
arrest.
Nathan Wyatt of Paris was charged with theft of property under $500.
Billy Smith of Buchanan was charged with custodial interference and a
felony evading arrest.
He is being held without bond per the judge’s orders.
Andrea Winding of Harrison Meadows was charged with domestic assault.
Derek McGehee of Paris was charged with criminal trespassing.
Cynthia Hines of Huntington was charged with failure to appear.
Helen Green of Paris was charged with forgery.
John Boardman of Paris was charged in General Sessions court with 2
counts of forgery.
An apartment door was forced open at Colony Square and medicines were

Terry Somerville of Paris was charged with violation of probation.
Rebecca Marrs of Paris was charged on a warrant for violation of
probation.
Gregory Barnhart of Paris was charged with simple possession of a
schedule 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Helen Green and John Boardman of Paris were arrested on Market St. at
3:30 Wednesday afternoon and were charged with 2 counts of forgery, evading
arrests and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Boarman was held without bond.
Joshua Stout of Paris was arrested on a warrant for violation of
probation.
Byron
Dawn Hall of Murray was charged as a fugitive from justice out of
Calloway Co. KY. and was held without bond.
Theft of an impact wrench, air hammer and air ratchet were reported by a
Foundry Hill resident in Puryear. The
complainant stated that the items, along with $40 to be used to buy an exhaust
fan for the residence, were lat seen when a repair man hired to work around the
house never returned.
A debit card along with the pen number was reported stolen from a
mailbox.
A chainsaw, valued at $800 was reported stolen from a toolbox in the back
of a pickup that was parked at Matt’s Pub.
A wallet containing 13 $100
bills was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a job site on Clifty Rd.
Arrests 9/8/05 Larry Currie of Hall TN was charged on a warrant for violation of probation.
Robert Tharpe was charged in court with forgery and failure to appear.
Jerry Mobley of Cottage Grove was charged in general sessions court with
violation of probation.
David Dakley of Paris was arrested for domestic violence.
A robbery was reported on Mansfield Hwy in Mansfield.
The store was robbed Tuesday when the clerk opened the cash drawer to
make change for a smack cake the customer wanted to purchase.
She told deputies that the white male appeared to be about 40 and he
reached across the counter and took all the money from the drawer. It is unknown how much cash the thief got a way with.
The basement window of the Palestine Methodist Church on Palestine Rd was
broken out Monday. Entry into the
building was not made. Nothing was
disturbed or found missing.
Vandalism to a campground on Mansard Island Rd. was reported to the
sheriff’s office. The owner stated that the damage was done by a family that
had been staying there for 3and ½ months.
Silly string was sprayed in the bathroom, the fence around the tennis
court was damaged and holes were poked in the plastic lining of the swimming
pool. Damage was estimated at
around $1,250.

Harrison Meadows was charged with a 3rd driving on a suspended
driver’s license.
Stacy Patton, 24, of Jackson was arrested on a warrant for failure to
appear.
George Bevier of Cottage Grove was stopped on Tyson Ave. and charged with
public intoxication.
Jeremy Burriss of Paris was charged on Monday with domestic assault,
simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and
held without bond.
Brian Weatherford of Murray was charged at the Huddle House with public
intoxication.
Garlon Tanner of Paris was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
and resisting arrest.
Thomas Priat of Paris was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6
drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stephanie McKnight of Camden was charged on 11 warrants out of Circuit
Court. 9
counts of possession of a scheduled 2 drug and 2 counts for possession of a
scheduled 4 drug.
John Poulos of Mays Bridge Rd. was charged with a DUI, violation of the
implied consent law and driving on a revoked driver’s license.
Debora Robinson of Paris was arrested on a warrant for theft of property.
Cynthia Ray was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dennis Morris of Paris was arrested for domestic assault.
Leonard Woods of Cookeville was arrested at Matt’s Pub and charged with
public intoxication.
Carol Thompson of Paris was held without bond on Saturday when she was
stopped on Brewer St. and charged on a warrant out of circuit court for
violation of probation.
She was also charged with public intoxication.
James Winters of Paris was charged with public intoxication.
Dustin Pierce of Paris was arrested on a state warrant for harassment.
Roger Nelson was arrested for failure to appear.
Deputies investigated a claim made by a man that his ex-girlfriend had
paid someone $100 to disfigure the man.
According to the investigation the ‘deal’ had been overheard by the
girlfriend’s housekeeper.
A house fire was reported in Cottage Grove on Saturday.
There was no one living in the house and there was no electric service.
The owner stated that during an argument with a neighbor, the neighbor
threatened to burn down the house.

9/3/05 Kerri Shoemaker of Paris was charged with public intoxication on Tyson Ave.
Michael Gilbert of McKenzie was held without bond for Failure to appear.
Benjamin Underhill of Hazel KY was arrested on Puryear Crossland Rd.
and charged with domestic assault. According
to sheriff’s reports Underhill was threatening the complainant, throwing beer
cans and attempting to break in through a window of the residence.
Justin Jones of Murray was stopped on Hwy 79 and charged with DUI,
driving on a suspended driver’s license, violation of the implied consent law.
Sean Smith of Murray was charged with a 2nd DUI by consent.
On Sept. 1st Allan Hart of Cottage Grove was charged at the
courthouse with public intoxication. Deputies
stopped Hart as he exited the upstairs courtroom, unsteady on his feet, smelling
strongly of alcohol and exhibiting slurred speech.
The Paris Police reported finding Hart asleep on the sidewalk at the
corner of Poplar and Washington St the day before, smelling strongly of alcohol.
Theft of a 911 sign and vandalism to a mailbox was reported on Cliffty
Rd.
Theft of a set of acetylene tanks, gauges and torches from a 3 Bridges
Rd. residence in Mansfield were reported to the sheriff’s office.
The incident was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Unit.

Jeremy May of Paris was arrested
at the National Guard Armory and held without bond on a capias for failure to
appear.
Theft from a Smith Heights Rd residence was reported to the sheriff’s
office. Gold and diamond jewelry
valued at $1600 was taken along with a muzzleloader.
Several of the items were located in a local pawnshop.
A resident at Harrison Meadows found her car tire slashed.
The tire was valued at $60.
Vandalism was reported at the Greystone Restaurant.
A backdoor in the kitchen area had been damaged but nothing was found
missing.

Diane Brewer of Big Sandy was charged with aggravated burglary and theft
of property over $500.
Matt Carerday of Paris was charged with theft of property.
John Howard of Paris was arrested on a warrant out of General Session’s
court for violation of probation.
James Long of Martin was arrested for failure to appear.
Floyd Slaughter of Paris was charged with a felony theft of property.
Lorenzo Strudivant of Paris was charged with violation of probation.
Tracy Taylor of Atwood was charged with failure to appear.

On Aug.30, a Springville resident reported a break-in at her house.
The theft of several items, except for a stereo, were found at a
neighbors. Damage to
the residence where force entry was made was set at $250.
The suspect stated that he had taken a ladder, electrical kit and a weed
eater to do some work and repairs around his house.
