Arrests  9/28/07

     Beverly Buie of Harrison St. was charged with forgery.  The arrest occurred when a complaint of a stolen or lost check book was received.  The  victim closed out the account and an alert was put out on the checks.  When 2 females cane to First Bank and Buie attempted to cash one of the checks an ID check was run.

     Bettie Thorson of Puryear was charged with  violation of probation and 3 counts of failure to appear on charges of violation of the bad check law.

     Matthew Thorson of Puryear was arrested on warrants for 2 counts of failure to appear on 5 counts of violation of the bad check law.

     Joseph Harper of McKenzie was charged with DUI, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest on Mineral Wells Ave.

     James Boothe of Richard St. was held without bond for failure to appear. 

Arrests  9/27/07

    On Wednesday officers of the Metro Crime Unit and the Paris Police Department went to room 202 of the Sunrise Inn.  There the officers located Kevin Jackson of Lois St. who was wanted for possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.  While arresting Jackson officers located cocaine in the room.  Jackson was charged with an additional count of possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent to sell.

     Other arrests included Brandon Miles of Hwy 69S was charged with DUI and underage possession and consumption and violation of the implied consent law.

      Major Tapps III of Minnesota was stopped  on E. Wood St.  when officers noticed he had a brake light out and was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Jonathan Smith of Elkhorn Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Blazie Sypin of Puryear was charged with violation of probation

     Brian Bratton of Durid Ln. was arrested on Hwy 54 and charged with reckless driving and driving without the required motorcycle endorsement.  The arrest occurred when officers observed Bratton on a motorcycle doing 97mph in a 55mph zone on Hwy 54.  He turned off into Central Point Church parking lot  and hid behind the building.  When officers arrived he tried to pull out and was caught.

     A student at Henry County High School was cited by Resource Officer for possession of marijuana and a student at the Alternative School was also cited. 

     Cory Ingram of Camden was  arrested on  Fairgrounds Rd. and charged with 2 counts of evading arrest, possession n of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, reckless endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of the seat belt law and criminal impersonation.  He was held without bond for Carroll County and Benton Co.  Arrested with him was Kelly Bomar of Bruceton who was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  The arrests occurred when officers observed Ingram driving without his seat belt.  When stopped he appeared nervous and could not produce a driver's license or give a social security number and gave a fake name.  After the stop he started the vehicle again and drove off into yards on Nance Circle crossing more yards.  The subject was seen running behind a fence and then disappeared.  Officers located him under a deck at a residence on Fairgrounds Rd. where he scooted out the far side and once again ran on foot.  the 2 officers and the 3 called in as backup finally caught Ingram on Fairground Rd. where he was held to the ground and arrested after he quit struggling

     A break in at Dinkins Homes was reported.  Taken was 25 ft of copper wiring and wiring from an  AC unit.

     A 12 pack of Bud Light was stolen from inside a delivery truck at Scott Mart on Hwy 69.  The driver was inside unloading beer when the  beer was taken.  A vehicle with the suspect was seen by the driver and when the vehicle  was found on Jones Bend Rd. Ext.  the driver was cited for theft of property. 

Arrests  9/26/07

     Mary Williams of Lancelot Ln. was charged with a 2nd DUI on E Wood St. and violation of the implied consent law.

     John Wilson of Mansfield was arrested on a warrant for theft and as a fugitive from justice.

     Vincent Dnaway of Harrison Ln. was charged with assault.

     Mark Moore of Irvine St. was held without bond for violation of sentence

     A computer was reported stolen from a shop behind a residence on Claytontown Rd.  Items were later found at Pyramid Pawn Shop that could be related to the break in.

    A computer was also reported stolen from Replogle Lumber.  The office had been broken into  and the computer along with $400 in cash were missing. 

Arrests 9/25/07

       Aaron Ward of Antioch TN was charged with violation of probation.

     Walter Owens of Robert Scott Rd. was charged with public intoxication.

     James Sharrer of Murray was stopped on E. Wood and charged with a 5th DUI and driving on a revoked driver's license.

     John Lang of Colonial Dr. was driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Angela Kendall of Ables St. was stopped on Pleasant Grove Rd. and charged with public intoxication. 

    Troy Woodruff of Buyce St. was stopped on Biploglo Rd. and charged with light violation and driving on a suspended driver's license.

     James Swidle of New Concord KY was charged with DUI at Crestview Manor Apts. and violation of the implied consent law and a felony possession of a weapon.

     Jamie McKinney of Byrds Creek Rd. was charged with possession of a scheduled 4 drug and violation of the open container law.

     Dottie Baird, 42,  of Buchanan was arrested on Rabbit Creek Rd. where officers charged her with possession of a scheduled 4 drug, possession of a scheduled 2 drug   with intent,.  The arrest occurred after she was observed weaving on the road.  

     Jeremy Purkart of Ill was charged with public intoxication at Scot Mart.

     Jarod Ainscouch of Murray was charged with underage possession and consumption and failure to appear.

     Loretta Robins of Dover was charged with public intoxication.  Arrested with her on State Line Rd. was Danny Miller of Murray for DUI.

     Bobby Ward of Antioch TN was charged with violation of probation.

     William Christopher  Lowry of Walnut St. was charged with sexual battery. 

Arrests  9/22/07

      On Sept. 20 officers with the Metro Crime Unit, Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 205 Highland St. in Paris.  Officers had received information that cocaine was being sold from the residence.  28 grams of cocaine along with marijuana and digital scales were found at the residence.  Nicholas Bradley was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Canine Buddy with handler Sheriff Monte Belew, Canine Elgos with handler Inv. Ricky Watson and Canine Casey with handler Cpl. Lance Perry were used in the search.

     Rhiannon  Watson of Guthrie Rd. was charged with drug fraud of a scheduled 4 drug.

     Tory Woodruff of Boyce St. was charged with driving on a suspended drover's license.

     Blazie Sypin of Crossland Rd. was charged with theft of property over $500 and aggravated burglary.

     

Arrests  9/21/07

     John Allen of  Hwy 69N was held without bond for aggravated domestic assault and violation of an order of protection.

     Brent Stoddard of White St. was charged with DUI and riding an ATV on the highway.

     Amy Stephens of Murray was charged with driving on a revoked drivers license.

     Joey Jones of Cottage Grove was charged with  simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Copper wiring was reported stolen from two central air units on Market St.   One unit was valued at $3500 and was a total loss.

     Gold jewelry valued at $15,000 was reported stolen from a Depot St. residence.  The victim stated it was missing when he woke up.

Arrests  9/20/07

     Belinda Rogers of Thompson St. was stopped on Hwy 641N by Puryear Patrolman Brodell for driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Jared McLeod, 20, of KY was charged at Howell's Resort with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  A film canister with 6 roaches and a knife were found on his person.

     5 register Quarter Horse brood mares were reported missing from pastures on Cotton Moth Ln. in McKenzie.  The horses were valued at $15,000.

     Several Internet scams have been reported to local law enforcement.  One is asking for money so that the subject who is supposedly in Nigeria can come to America.  Another states that You are the winner, just wire money in the amount of $4997 to cover taxes and the winnings will be sent to you by Trust Mark Bank....

....Remember, If it sounds to good to be true, It Probably IS..... 

Arrests  9/19/07

     On Thursday Sept. 13, officers of the Metro Crime Unit, Henry County  Sheriff's office and the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 828 Lois St. in Paris where officers received information that cocaine was being stored and sold.  Officers located approx. 16 grams of cocaine along with prescription drugs and electronic scales.  Officers issued warrants for the arrest of Kevin Jackson and Kendrick Reddick, both of Lois St. for possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Also involved in the search was K-9 Elgos.

     Other arrests include Arroyo Ray of Depot St. who was stopped on India Rd. and held without bond for speeding, driving on a suspended driver's license, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and possession of a scheduled 1 drug.  Arrested with Ray was Gerald Dolberry of Gordon St. who was charged with underage consumption.  A third person was also arrested on India Rd., Danielle Gunasekara of Depot St. for possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and held without bond.

     Bill Alsup of Blake Dr. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and willful abuse and neglect of an impaired adult.

     William Kirkpatrick of Crestview Circle was held without bond for violation of probation, violation of an order of protection and aggravated domestic assault.

     Thomas Briers of Mansfield was arrested on an attachment out of Juvenile  Court.

     Jonathan Waycasteer of Murray was stopped on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with public intoxication.

     Sarah  Pinson of Springville was charged with filing a false report.  The arrest occurred when she took out a vehicle, wrecked it and brought the vehicle back to the owner's home.  When the owner of  the vehicle  told officers that he did not know who had done it.  Pinson denied taking the vehicle, stating that she could not drive it because she was not insured to drive it.  The deputy did not believe her story.  A neighbor stated that the vehicle had gone down the road at a high rate of speed, while another neighbor stated that the vehicle had almost run him off the road then went into a yard and hit 2 trees.

     

Arrests  9/18/07

     James Williams of Caldwell St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Lee Davis of Dunlap St. was charged with a 2nd DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Samantha Cowan of Gwen St. was charged at the ER with underage consumption.

     Ned Harper of Old McKenzie Hwy. was charged with public intoxication.

     Tyler Burrett of Murray was arrested by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with underage consumption.  Arrested with Burrett was Mathew Johnson of Murray who was also charged with underage possession and consumption.

     Helen Green of Three Bridges Rd was held without bond for violation of probation out of Circuit Court.

     Shane Cooper of Hoyt Cooper Rd. was held with out bond and charged with domestic assault.

     Tramaine Tidwell of Blythe St. was charged with driving without a driver's license.

     Gabriel Hillsman of Atwood TN was charged and held without bond for possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent.  Hillsman who was arrested last week on drug charges was stopped for no seat belt.  He refused consent to search the vehicle and a K-9 was brought in who found a bag of Meth in truck and a bag of meth under the hood of the vehicle. 

     

Arrests 9/15/07

     Ronald Pate of McKenzie was charged with public intoxication.

     Robert Richmmond of McKenzie was held without bond by McKenzie Police Department for failure to appear and on a mittimus from Henry County.

     Theft of a 1996 Dodge truck, valued at $5,000, from Mansfield was reported.  The truck was being driven by an employee who was to return the vehicle after the weekend.  The suspect , who has a past history of theft, is believed to be in Michigan.

     Harrelson School students will be sent to the Alternative school after being caught with a scheduled 6 drug with intent to sell.  The suspects were turned in by concerned parents who found the drug.

         

Arrests  9/14/07

     Jessica Hynes of Puryear was charged with theft of property.

     Chase Brock of McKenzie was charged with failure to appear for bad checks..

     Chris Norwood of Mandalay Rd. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Britton Gream of Henry was arrested on Tyson Ave. for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Fran Patton of Mandalay Rd. was arrested on an attachment for contempt.

     Justin Farris of Brooks St. was arrested for contempt of juvenile court.

     Thomas Teague of Springville was charged with contempt of juvenile court.

     A vehicle fire was reported on Hwy 641S.  The owner of the  1987 truck stated that he heard what sounded like a belt breaking and then noticed smoke coming from under the hood.  The Oakland Fire Department was called to the scene to extinguished the flames.

     Attempted drug fraud was reported by the pharmacy at Wal-Mart.  A check of the prescription with the doctor at the Henry County  ER showed that a prescription, but not the one presented, had been issued.  The patient called in the prescription but never came in person to pick it up.

     A purse, ID and a check were reported stolen from the locked band room at Henry County High School.  The purse had been covered by other clothing but was missing when the band returned inside from practicing.  

Arrests  9/13/07

     Edwin Wagster Jr. of Vale Rd. was held without bond for promotion of meth production, driving on a revoked driver's license, simple possession of a scheduled 2 controlled substance, violation of probation and removal of registration decal from plates.  The arrest  occurred when officers made a traffic stop after seeing the date decal had been removed from the vehicle's license plate.  Found in the bed of the truck was a tank of  anhydrous ammonia with a hose coming out of it.  Found on Wagster was a small container of meth.

     Joe Olive of Henry was held without bond on a capias for failure to appear.

     Brian Schultz, 38, of Gibson Dr. was arrested on a warrant for vandalism over $500.

     Kenneth Boudwin of Damascus Rd. was held without bond as a fugitive from justice out of Florida. 

Arrests  9/12/07

     Tracy Taylor of McKenzie was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, criminal impersonation and promotion of meth manufacturing.  Also arrested with Taylor was Gabriel  Hillsman  of Atwood TN who was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug , muffler violation and violation of the registration law.   The arrests occurred during a traffic stop and they refused a request to search the vehicle.  A K-9 was brought to the scene.  The two were put into the back seat of the police unit where a search of the back seat found a baggie with meth and a spoon with meth residue on it.

     Robert French of Springville was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Christopher Towns of Brown St. was arrested on Routon St. and charged with theft.

     Billy Williams of Townsend Rd. was charged at the jail with driving on a revoked driver's license and criminal impersonation.

     Henry Vogel of Stewart Rd. was arrested on Byrds Creek Rd.  by State Trooper Chad Cox and charged with a 3rd DUI , aggravated child neglect and abuse, reckless endangerment and violation of the implied consent law.

     Donna Rosengrant of New Concord KY was charged as a fugitive from justice.

     Phillip Stewart of Mansfield was charged with failure to appear on 4 counts of animal cruelty.

     Theft of a car from Puryear was reported.  The vehicle was stolen by the complainants granddaughter who was not allowed to drive because she had a revoked driver's license out of Indiana.  The car was stopped and stopped in Hazel KY.

     

Arrests  9/11/07

     Terry Moss of Murray was stopped on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with DUI, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Rachel Mabe of Henderson Dr. was  arrested in the parking lot of Wal-Mart for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  She had been acting nervous in Wal-Mart and security though that she might have shoplifted something.  Officers were called to the parking lot where no merchandize was found but the drugs were.

     William Baxley Jr. of Springville was arrested on Bouton St. on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Joshua Johnson of Richard St. was charged with domestic assault.

     Jordan Holland of Big Sandy was charged with underage consumption on Tyson Ave.

     George Easley of Mandalay Rd. was arrested on an attachment.

     Johnny Washum of Depot St. was arrested at Washington Court for criminal trespassing.

     Rachel Gryzik of Springville was stopped on Hwy 69 and 218 for driving on a revoked driver's license, a 2nd DUI, driving an unregistered vehicle and violation of the implied consent law.

     Eric Adams of Brown Ln. was arrested on an attachment.

     Akito Hutcherson of Jenkins St. was stopped on Hwy 79S for simple possession  of a scheduled 6 drug with intent to sell or deliver.  He was stopped by officers for having a headlight out and not wearing a seatbelt. When officers got behind his vehicle he ran off the roadway by Save-A- Lot.   K-9 Vido made a positive hit on the vehicle.  A bag of marijuana and $705 in cash were found on Hutcherson.

     Samuel Reeves of Puryear was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and speeding.

     Demerick Diggs of Dresden was charged with violation of probation.

     Jane Farley of Murray was charged with public intoxication.

     Darren Strdavant of Elmore St. was arrested on Fentress St. on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Michael Colall of River Oaks Dr. was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Cory Hockman of Bruceton was held for Logan Co. on charges of theft over $1,000.

     Melissa Patterson of Budget Inn was arrested on Highland St. and charged with DUI.

     Christopher Rice of W. Wood St. was arrested for domestic assault.

     An attempted break-in was reported over the weekend in Buchanan.  The resident stated that she was asleep when she heard someone trying to break in.  She saw a white male in a hooded sweatshirt at the front door.  He left when he saw the resident was awake.  

Arrests  9/8/07

     Tony Johnson of Locust St. was held without bond and charged with contempt of court.

     A theft over $1,000 was reported to authorities.  The victim stated that her late husband's car, a 1965  Mercury Comet, had been stolen from a shed on the Copper Springs Rd. property.  Also missing was a 4 wheeler and a tool box full of assorted tools.  The car was discovered at the residence of her stepson's mother.  The mother stated she took the car because the bank was taking her house and she needed the car.

     The theft of fire safe and  change was reported from a weekend home on Perry School House  Rd.

Arrests  9/7/07

     Malcomb Dalberry, 24, of Mandalay Rd. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Theft of $3,035 was reported to the Sheriff's Office.  The complainant stated that he wanted to buy a Polaris Ranger 4x4 on line from EBay.  The price was very good and the seller said he needed to buy it now.  The money was wired to a company named 'Square Deal'  but the vehicle was never delivered.  A check with E-Bay stated they had no knowledge or account with a company by that name.

     Theft from a rental trailer on  Roberts Rd.  Items taken included a micro wave, dog kennel and a couch.   

     

Arrests  9/6/07

     Ashley Morris of Murray was held without bond for introduction of a controlled substance into a penal institution and possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Anthun Russell of Washington Court was arrested on 2 warrants for driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Caroline Schoenfeldt of Nashville was arrested for a 2nd DUI and violation of the implied consent law.  The arrest occurred when a 911 call was received stating that there was a woman, who was drunk, driving around in the New Harmony Baptist Church parking lot. 

     John Broomfleet of Belmont St. was held without bond for domestic assault and evading arrest.  Officers received a tip that Broomfleet was at the Belmont St. residence.  When officers arrived they saw him in the residence.  He jumped out a window and took off running.  The foot pursuit went through a neighbors yard and onto Blythe St. where he ran into the woods and then came out at Lone Oak Rd. where he was finally apprehended.  

     Alvin Lawrence of Buchanan was charged with DUI, violation of the open container law and violation of the implied consent law.

Arrests  9/5/07

     Edrico  Patton of Irvine St. was held without bond as a fugitive from justice and failure to appear out of Calloway Co.

     Retha Dunn of John Lee Dr. was arrested on Minor St. for public intoxication.

     Alvin Lawrence of Buchanan was charged with DUI, violation of the open container law and violation of the implied consent law.

     Steven Simpson of New Concord KY was stopped on Hwy 69 and charged with DUI.

     Lindsay Pierce of Huntingdon was stopped on the 218 By Pass and charged with driving on a revoked driver's license and speeding.

     Randy Carter of Hwy 218 was arrested on a warrant and charged with assault.

     Martha Hughey of Camp Tyson Rd. was charged with obstructing legal writ process.  The charge came when Hughey was found hiding a wanted person, who was wanted on a mittimus out of Carroll Co., in the bedroom of her trailer.

     Justin Bowden of Buchanan was charged with sexual battery.

     James Newberry of McCampbell St. was charged with domestic vandalism.

     William White of Hazel was charged with DUI.

     Joe Olive of Cherokee Plains was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.  Arrested with him was Kenneth Schwartz of Highland Ave. who was charged with public intoxication.  The arrests were made in the alley behind Wallin's Hardware Friday night.

     Anita McShane of Buchanan was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Hwy 79.

     Kendall Hurt of Carland Ave was charged with burglary.

     Justin Tharpe of Harrison Ln. was held without bond on an attachment.

     Michael Parks of Brewer St. was arrested as a fugitive from justice.

     Jarred Fowlkes of Union City was arrested on Antioch Rd. for a 3rd DUI  and evading arrest Saturday.

     Gene Milliken of McKenzie was arrested on W. Wood St. for public intoxication.

     Kari  Stawarts of Shady Grove Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and fraudulent use of a credit card.

     James and Patti Severance of Mansfield were arrested on Vale Rd.  James was charged with domestic assault and Patti was charged with disorderly conduct.

     Deandra Ash of Brewer St. was held without bond per the judges orders for vandalism over $500.

     Thomas Walker of Mandalay Rd. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug and driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Jamie Russell of Caledonia Ext. was charged with public intoxication.

     Colton Halstead of Whitlock Rd. was arrested for possession of a deadly weapon and underage possession and consumption along with Travis O'Dell who was charged with possession of a deadly weapon, under age possession and consumption and a 2nd driving on a revoked driver's license.  

     Wiring and plumbing were ripped from the walls of a vacant house on Radford Lake Rd.

     3 window air conditioners were reported stolen from the old Springville School over the weekend.

     Batteries and gas tanks were reported stolen from  boats stored on Sloan Rd.

     A 3-weeler and an air tank were reported stolen from a residence on Hwy 79N.

        

Arrests  9/1/07

           James King of Savannah TN was charged with aggravated assault.

     Terry Duncan of Harrison Meadows Apt. was charged with aggravated assault.

     Cassie Cowan of Brewer St. was charged with aggravated burglary.     

     Michael Schindler of Murray was arrested on E. Wood St. and charged with aggravated assault.

     Phillip Bomar of William Grove Rd. was charged with theft of property, burglary and failure to appear.

     Stephanie  George of Big Sandy was charged with violation of probation and driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Andrew Stachewicz of Puryear was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Orry Bush of Cottage Grove was arrested on Mineral Wells and charged with reckless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle.  The arrest occurred when Bush was observed driving his motorcycle very fast in a curve, almost laying it on its side.  He cut in and out of traffic, cutting off a U.S. Forestry Officer.  There was no license plate on the cycle.

     Lakiesha Millinken of Elmore St. was charged with  simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  Officers received a tip that there were drugs at the residence which was known for past drug activity.

     A vehicle was reported stolen from the parking lot of McCartney Produce.  The truck windows were left down, the pick up truck unlocked and the keys were in the ignition.

     A  plastic chair in the visitation room of the Henry County Correctional Facility.  The person sitting in it at the time reported hurting their leg and hip.  The victim declined EMS and went to the ER by private vehicle.

     100lbs of Copper and 50 lbs of aluminum were reported stolen from a residence on Forest Ln.

     A motorcycle accident  was reported on Mansfield Rd.   The cyclist suffered injuries and was transported to the emergency room.

     An accident involving a tractor and a trailer was reported on West Antioch Rd.  A tractor was parked in a field and somehow slipped into gear and hit a neighbors trailer.  The neighbors live in Millington and the tractor owner stated he would inform them and secure the trailer until they could come and take care of the damage.
