Arrests  10/29/05

     Earnest Herren of Paris and Fredia Gallion also of Paris were arrested on Travis Rd and charged with theft of property.

    Connie Harper of Paris was charged with violation of probation.

     Rick Burton was charged with domestic assault.

     Harrelson School officials reported a fight on a school bus.  Bus driver Flossie Smith called 911 and reported that 2 juveniles were fighting on her bus.  When Puryear Police Chief Paschall arrived the 2 boys were removed from the bus and cited them into juvenile court for assault.  The students were released into their parent’s custody.

 

Arrests  10/28/05

     Christopher Crouch of Paris was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Carrie Harver of Paris was charged with violation of probation.

     Deborah Melton of Big Sandy was charged with 2 counts of forgery.

     Amanda Wilson of Paris was arrested on an attachment for contempt of court.

          Charles Peach of Paris was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest and held without bond.

     Donald Yoder of Paris was held without bond and charged with failure to appear and criminal impersonation when he told officers he was Thomas Couch.

     Steven Matheny of Robert Barnhill Rd. was arrested on a warrant and charged with theft of Property.

     A mini bike valued at $100 was stolen from Guthrie Rd.

     The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a role over accident on 140S, just outside of Como.

 

Arrests  10/27/05

     Alecia Davis of Bruceton was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     James Arnold Jr of Paris was arrested at Scott Mart and after a check of his driver’s licenses was arrested for a 2nd driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Floyd Scott of Paris was arrested on Dale St and charged with public intoxication.

 

Arrests  10/26/0 5

     Jeremy Herndon of Waverly was charged with contempt of court.

     Patrolman Jason Mounts arrested Darren Walton of Southside TN on Hwy 54W just minutes into Tuesday, October 25, 2005.  Walton was charged with a 3rd DUI, violation of the implied consent law and assault on an officer. 

     Vincent Gambill, 30, of Cincinnati OH was arrested at E Antioch and Port Rd where he was charged with a 2nd driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     An estimated $225 worth of damage was done to the doorframe and window in a break-in on Old Union Loop Rd.  Nothing was found missing from the residence.

     Tire tracks and a boot print were found in the front yard of a residence on 641S in the Springville area.  Stolen from the residence were an air compressor, 2 cordless drills and a grinder.

 

Arrests  10/25/05

      Michael Bucton of Paris was charged with violation of probation out of General Session Court on Friday.

     Rebecca Marrs of Paris was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Stanley McBride of Henry was arrested for Public intoxication.

     Royce Earnst of Murray was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Saturday Darrell Hutchison of Paris was charged with aggravated domestic assault.     Albert Hutchison was charged with filing a false report.

     Tammy Watson of Hollow Rock was arrested at Wal-Mart for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and theft of property.

 A silent hold up alarm was set off at Sensual Pleasures over the weekend.  The 2 males and one female were gone when officers arrived.  The clerk told the customers that she had sent for the police after she felt threatened.  They left the store after they had shoplifted several items including DVD’s valued at $60 to $90.     

     A $50 portable stereo, $200 worth of DVD’s and $1,400 worth of CD’s were reported stolen from a residence on Vaughan Rd.

     Ingredients needed to manufacture Meth were found in the bed of a pick up truck over the weekend.  The items were discovered by the owner who stated that her ex- husband had placed the materials there and called her later asking that she deliver them to him.

 

Arrest  10/22/05

     April Sykes, 18 was arrested Oct 21 and charged with underage possession and consumption of alcohol.  The arrest occurred when Paris Police officers observed her crossing the centerline and driving poorly on city roadways.

     Andrew Winding, 18, of Paris was arrested at Harrison Meadows and charged with criminal trespassing, simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and 6 drug as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Shermaine Dunlap of Paris was also arrested at Harrison Meadows and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 dug and a scheduled 6 drug.

     Jerry Dunlap was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court on Thursday.

     Terry Thomas was charged in court with violation of probation.

     John Buell was charged in court with violation of probation.

     Kenneth Horner of Murray was held without bond as a fugitive from justice out of KY.

     A holding tank and a pump were stolen from a well house on Wilson Rd.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Arrests  10/21/05

     Donnie Hutcherson of Henry was arrested at Washington Court and charged with robbery.

     Nathan Harrison of Murray was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     James Long was held without bond for failure to appear to do a jail sentence and violation of probation.

     Billie Bates of Paris was charged with a 2nd driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Rodger Kendall of Paris was arrested on an attachment out of Chancery court.

     Tony Thomas and Larry Thomas, both of Paris were arrested at Pockets at around 1:30 am.  Tony was charged with public intoxication and Larry with disorderly conduct.

     Vehicle keys were reported stolen from a residence at Woodland Acres.  Earlier glue had been put into the vehicle’s door locks.

     Shots were reported on Cypress Rd.  The complainant stated the shots have been fired every day for several weeks into an area where children play.

     The sheriff’s office received a complaint of someone letting a dog off its chain and cutting the water hose.  The Forrest Lane residence has been put on the extra patrol list.

 

Arrests   10/20/05

     Gary Bond  of Lab Drive was charged with domestic assault.

     Vanessa Bucy of Murray was charged with DUI,possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving on Hwy 641 by state trooper Monty Belew.

       Aluminum tracter trailer truck wheels were reported stolen from a truck yard on the 218 By-Pass. 

The wheels were valued at $250 each.

     Had-A-Call Grocery reported the theft of $40 in gas and 2 packs of cigarettes from a person who claimed his employer always charged items at the store.  The person was no longer employed by the subject.

 

 

Arrests  10/19/05

     On Oct 16th at around 4:30 in the morning the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence on Caledonia Ext.  An investigation found that shortly before the call was received two black males wearing masks and dark clothing forcibly entered the residence through the front door.  For a short time the 2 female residents were held at gunpoint by the masked men who then left the victims at the residence.  The 2 women did not suffer any major injuries.  The incident is still under investigation by the criminal investigative division of the Henry County Sheriff’s office.

     Arrests included Troy Nolan of Paris who was arrested on Dunlap St. and charged with possession with intent to sell or distribute a schedule 6 drug, a scheduled 2 drug and violation of probation.

    Also arrested on Dunlap at around 5pm were Shannon Townes and Carlos Melton both of McKenzie.  Townes was charged with driving with out a driver’s license, possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent to sell or distribute.  Melton was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent to sell or distribute.

     Stephanie Gilpatrick of Paris was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Alex Gistafson of Old McKenzie Hwy. Was arrested for failure to appear to do a jail sentence.

     Adam Lampkins of Paris was charged with domestic assault and theft of property.

 

Arrests  10/18/05

     On Oct. 14th officers of the Henry County Sheriff’s office arrested Randy L. Flood  and charged him with one count of solicitation of a minor,  seven counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and sale, loan or exhibition of material to a minor.  The arrest was a result of an investigation by the county CID unit.  Flood had been providing alcohol and pills to children at his residence in Hidden Acres.  The investigation revealed that he had shown the children pornographic material and made unlawful advancers towards one of the children.  Bond was set at $25,000   

 Alleia Noorwanden of Paris was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Kenneth Horner of Murray was charged with criminal impersonation and two counts of failure to appear.

     Britenie Vassel was charged with DUI on Chickasaw.

          Darren Strudivent of Jackson was charged on a warrant for failure to appear and held without bond.

     Charles Carter of Paris was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license and violation of probation.

     Charles Gibson, 46 of Paris was held without bond and charged with domestic assault at Lone Oak Trailer Park.

     James Sanders of Paris was arrested for failure to appear and violation of probation.

     Kenneth Eubanks of Paris was charged with assault out of Carroll County.  He is currently serving a sentence in the Henry County Correctional Facility.

     Leslie Edgimton of Puryear was arrested at Wal-Mart and charged with   felony drug fraud for fraudulently obtaining drugs.

     Melissa Doyle was charged with failure to appear.

     A lawn tractor valued at $2,799 was reported stolen from a Puryear business.

     4 tires, valued at $500 were found cut at a Henderson Lane residence.

     A $1500 stereo was stolen from a residence on Gooch Lane.

  

Arrests   10/15/05

          On Oct. 13th Jessie M. Burden was arrested and charged by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Henry County Sheriff’s office with Statutory Rape. Burden, 26, is accused of having unlawful sex with a 16-year-old juvenile in early Oct.    Upon his arrest he was also found to have in his possession marijuana, a bottle of pills and other paraphernalia.  He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.  His bond was set at $25,000.

     Other arrests include Ramiah McDougal of Paris who was charged with domestic vandalism.

     Adam Barnes of Murray was arrested at the 641 Club for underage consumption.

      Stephanie Woodman, 20, of Ohio was arrested in the parking lot of the 641 Club for under age possession and consumption.

     Terry Franklin of New Orleans was arrested by Puryear Police Chief Paschall and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Edwin McClure of Paris was arrested for aggravated assault.

     Kerri Shoemaker of Paris was arrested for public intoxication.

              Timothy Ballard of Bruceton was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license.

               10 GM radiators, valued at $300 each were stolen from a Travis Rd. residence.

               A grandfather clock and a carpet cleaner were found missing from a Routon Truck Stop Rd. residence.  Vandalism to other items was also found.  

 

Arrests  10/14/05

     Bobby Joe Langley of McKenzie was charged with rape and sexual battery on Monday.  Langley was accused of having unlawful sexual penetration and unlawful sexual contact with the victim at a Henry County residence Oct 12th.  He is under a $25,000 no contact bond.

     Patricia Harris of Mansfield was charged as a fugitive from justice out of KY.

     Jimmy Milliken of Paris was arrested on Brewer St. on warrants for vandalism.

     John Edwards was held without bond for failure to appear.

      Donnie Johnson of Paris was stopped for driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Ashley Slaughter of Paris was charged with violation of probation.

     A trailer on Casey Lane was burglarized.  The back porch light bulb had been unscrewed and the back door was forced open.  Approx. 150 CD's were stolen and $150 in change taken along with a necklace.

 

Arrests  10/13/05

          Adam Dwyre of Paris was charged in court Tuesday with violation of probation.

     Donald Gordon, 48, of Paris was charged with domestic assault and violation of probation and held without bond.

   Chris Portor of Paris was arrested at the probation office where he was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court.

     Damage to a vehicle by a gravel truck was reported to the sheriff’s office.  According to the victim the truck, owned by a Big Sandy company was taking a curve at an extreme speed when it slung gravel on the complainant’s vehicle scratching the hood and the windshield.  The victim followed the truck to Hwy 218 and Hwy 77.  The truck driver would only give his first name to the complainant.

     An attempted burglary was reported by a Pleasant Grove Rd. resident.  Pry marks were found on several doors and windows and a pry bar was found lying in front of a door.  No entry was made to the residence.

 

Arrests  10/12/05

     Theresa Serrano of Paris was charged with simple possession of a schedule 2 drug on Monday.

     Sheana Perkins of Paris was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     April Merrell of Camden was arrested on 641S Sunday and charged with public intoxication.

     Also arrested on 641S Sunday was Bryan Johnson, 40, of Camden who was charged with DUI.  Johnson was driving on the wrong side of the roadway when deputies turned around and put on flashing lights and sirens.  When he finally stopped he had crossed over the centerline and onto the shoulder.  According to deputies reports he had slurred speech and failed field sobriety tests.

     Robert Long of Paris was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Adel Abdullatief of Paris was arrested on warrants for 2 separate counts of aggravated criminal trespassing and 2 separate counts of stalking.

       On Sunday Dana Dowell, 18, of Paris was charged with criminal trespassing and criminal impersonation.

     Christy Rorie of Indian Mound in Stewart County was arrested at the Little General on Tyson for shoplifting.

     Andrew Vincent of Hopkinsville was arrested on l41N by Puryear Police Chief Dan Paschall for public intoxication and indecent exposure.

     Sherry Lamb of Paris was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     On Saturday John Hoskins was charged with a felony evading arrest and violation of the implied consent law.

    Adam Dwyre was charged with public intoxication on Monday morning.  According to police the driver of the vehicle stated she had given Dwyre a ride from a bar in town.  As they went down the road he jumped from the vehicle near Beasley Antenna.  He was found later by officers on E.Wood St. sleeping in a gravel drive. 

    

Arrests   10/8/05

     Ashley Slaughter, 20 of Paris, Paul Olive of Paris and Kristie Boutwell also of Paris were arrested on India Rd. Friday.  Ashley was charged with DUI and underage consumption.  Kristie, a passenger in the car  was charged with public intoxication.  Paul Olive, who had 5 outstanding warrants, was charged with violation of probation, failure to appear and reckless endangerment.

     Bobby Ward of Paris was arrested and held without bond for failure to appear.

     Veronica Harris of Paris was charged with public intoxication.

     Adam Dwyre of Paris was charged with public intoxication.

     2 burglaries were reported on Antioch Harbor Rd.  Both residents, neighbors, had screens ripped from porch doors. 

$100 of beer was stolen from one home and $15 worth of beer from the other. 

    

 

Arrest  10/7/05

 

      Aarron Meredith of Paris was charged in General Sessions Court for failure to appear and 3 counts of violation of the bad check law.

     Thomas Tuck of Paris was charged with public intoxication

     Willie Walkers Jr. of Trenton TN was arrested at the Gibson County Sheriff’s office and charged with failure to appear. 

     Edward Moralas Jr. of Paris was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

     Danielle Myers if Sharon TN was arrested on Caledonia St and charged with aggravated burglary on a state warrant.

     Pamela Dowdy of Wingo KY was arrested on East Wood St by Luv Homes and charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Thomas Sawyers of Paris was charged with public intoxication.

     A bush hog, valued at $2,500 was reported stolen from Leroy Lane.

     2 juveniles were cited into juvenile court after causing a disturbance on a Henry County school bus along Jones Bend Rd.

 

Arrests   10/6/05

     Robert Vallery Jr. of Springville was arrested on Tuesday and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.  Vallery, who was on emergency military leave, had 5 unpaid outstanding citations for safety violations.  He was also clocked doing 49 in a 35 mph school zone.

     Dustin Norwood of Springville was charged at the courthouse with speeding, a misdemeanor evading arrest, reckless endangerment and a felony evading arrest.

     Steven Smith of Paris was charged with public intoxication.  Smith was arrested at Lakeview Grocery where he told officers that he did not drink but had taken medication that day.  The arrest came after a citizen alerted deputies that the vehicle had almost run a semi off the road.

     2 John Deere mowers were reported stolen from a residence on Buchanan Rd.  The rider was valued at $750 and the push mower was valued at $300.

     A pontoon boat trailer valued at $1,000 was stolen from a yard on Antioch Rd.

     The Tennessee Highway Patrol was called to Rowe School Rd where a motorcycle wrecked Tuesday morning.

 

Arrests   1 0/5/05

     Rodney Powell was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest.  The arrest was made when Paris Police received a call that Powell was harassing customers at Regions Bank.

     Franklin Walker of Paris was charged with public intoxication.

     Theft of an air compressor and hose valued at $300 was reported from a shed on Routon St.

     A $180 chainsaw was reported stolen from the back of a truck at Rolling Meadows South.

     Theft of items from a construction site in Springville was reported to the Henry County Sheriff’s office.

 

Arrests  10/4/05

     Kelvin Thomas of Paris was arrested in the Henry County Medical Center Parking lot where he was charged with public intoxication.

     Christopher Moreno, 25 of Paris was charged with driving without a driver’s license.

     Tiffany Buell of Paris was charged with domestic assault and held without bond.

     William   Cleek. 35, of Paris was charged with DUI by consent on Sunday at Yo’s on West Wood Street.

     Robert Melton of Paris was stopped on Irvine and charged with DUI.

     Robert Rick, 36, of Paris was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Jason Bain of Big Sandy was stopped on the 218 By-Pass and charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent laws.

  On Saturday Timothy Millraney of Paris was charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug, DUI and violation of the implied consent law.  Sgt Stan Pinson of the Sheriff’s office found Millraney parked in the middle of Midway Rd with his motor running, passed out over the steering wheel.   He smelled strongly of alcohol and had morphine tabs in his pocket.

     John Ramon of Paris was arrested on Dunlap St and charged with theft of property, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and 2 counts of failure to appear.

     A $300 extension ladder was reported stolen from the back of a truck on Hill Rd.

     4 guns, valued at $2,200 were stolen from Vaughn Rd.

     Vandalism to a swimming pool was reported in Cottage Grove.  The pool had been punched with a knife.
