A break-in was reported on Pleasant Hill Rd. According to the police report the residence was under quarantine due to meth lab. Stolen were stereo equipment, a dryer, and heaters. Arrests 11/21/08 Anthony Tharp of Caledonia St. was charged with violation of sentence. Amy Gilbert of Thompson St was charged with burglary. Arrested with her was Hershal Felty of West Webb who was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Shannon Rodgers of Dogwood Hills was charged with filing a false report. Robin Dowdy of Hwy 140N was charged with theft of property. A break-in was reported on Anderson Dr. The residents reported that while on vacation the home was broken into. Taken were a set of golf clubs, 4 bottles of wine and 4 commutative Jack Daniel's bottles. No forced entry was found. Arrests 11/20/08 Jauier Veqanuez of Henry was charged with driving with no driver's license. Randall Smith of Mansfield was held without bond and charged with violation of probation. Deborah Gormley of Jessie Ln. was charged with shoplifting at Wal-Mart.
Arrests 11/19/08 On Monday the Metro Crime Unit, Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Paris Police Department issued arrest warrants for 3 persons from Benton County. Charges were filed after an investigation between Benton County Sheriff's Office and local authorities was conducted. The 3 being charged with promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine is based on the purchase of pseudoephedrine by one of the persons from local pharmacies for the purpose of manufacturing meth, delivering the pseudoephedrine to someone who intends manufacturing meth with reckless disregard of it's intent . Charged were Lisa Heck, 43, of Camden, Phyllis Glover, 48, of Camden and Edward Glover, 53, of Camden. Other arrests include Donald Gallimore of Springville who was arrested on a warrant and held without bond for domestic assault. Michael Bates of Hwy 641N was charged with possession of a scheduled 4 drug and theft under $500 Shannon Butler of Trenton was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Billy Williams of Townsend Rd. was charged with criminal impersonation and driving on a revoked driver's license. Thomas Taylor of Hwy 69N was held without bond for failure to do a jail sentence. A report of stolen cows on Briarpatch Lake Rd was made at the sheriff's office. The owner reported that a black bull, 2 black cows and a black heifer were missing. Tracks by a loading pen were found and items at the scene had been moved. Arrests 11/118/08 Laris Taylor of Hwy 641N was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Samuel Robertson of Hollow Rock was charged with public intoxication at the Spider's Web. David Johnson of Rison St. was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, vandalism and public intoxication. Carl Frazee of Camden was held without bond and charged with violation of probation and failure to appear. Carla Lair of Camden was charged with failure to paper. Robert Ford of Dresden was charged on a warrant with forgery, an attachment and possession of a scheduled 4 drug. Alex Diebold was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles Luck of Henry was charges with assault. James Stavely of McKenzie was charged with manufacture of meth. Brian Kennon of Puryear was held without bond and charged with 2 counts of aggravated burglary and domestic assault. Brandi Speir of Mandalay Rd. was charged with filing a false report. Lucas McAdams of McKenzie was charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the open container law. Heather Garrett of Cottage Grove was charged with contempt of court. Jason Banker of Henry was charged with failure to appear. A shed fire on Atlantic Ave. was reported to 911. The caller informed dispatch that some boys had been seen entering the shed, they were smoking and set a room of the shed on fire. The building was engulfed by time fire fighters arrived. No injuries were reported. Arrests 11/15/08 Kristal Howard of Jones Rd. was arrested on Foundry Hill Rd. and charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. The arrest occurred around 2:30 am Wednesday when Howard drove off a small bridge on Foundry Hill Rd into the creek below. The accident was worked by the TN Highway Patrol who called EMS to the scene. Howard was reported to be in non critical condition and released from Henry County Medical Center. Zachary Jenkins of Highland Circle was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. Leonardo Fitzgerald of Hwy 54 was arrested on a capias John Madden of Clifty Rd. was charged with simple assault. Marricus Kendall of Powell St. was charged with theft of property. Ronnie Stephens of Depot St. was charged with theft of property at Wal-Mart. Nicholas Wheeler of Murray was charged with aggravated burglary. Justin Collins of Murray was charged with aggravated burglary and armed robbery. Nataline Massie of Novod School Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and criminal impersonation. Nicole Potiraloa of Harrison St. was held without bond and charged with contempt of court. William List of Rowe School Rd. was charged with harassment. A break in on Cherry Island Rd. was reported Entry was made by busting out the glass door in the back of the residence. Among the items taken were a 50 in TV, DVD player, Play Station 3, a lap top computer, several guitars and other musical equipment. Arrests 11/14/08 On Wednesday the Metro Crime Unit, the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 621 Powell St. Officers located baggies in a wooded area behind the residence which contained cocaine base residue and cocaine base. Officers charged 48 year old Emma J Hilliard with possession of cocaine base with intent to sell or deliver. Hillard was also charged with 2 counts of selling cocaine base in which Hilliard is accused of selling crack cocaine to an undercover informant working for the Metro Crime Unit. Also involved in the search were Canines Elgas and Merlin. Arrests 11/13/08 Kendrick Redick of Lois St. was held without bond and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and violation of sentence. The arrest of Kendrick was at the house on Cole Fairway where he and two others were attempting to commit aggravated burglary. During a foot pursuit by officers Redrik attempted to climb over a fence and his pants fell down at which point the officer tasored the bare buttocks of Redick Deandle Teague of Chesapeake Dr. was charged with AWOL. David Santiago of Mandalay Rd. was charged with driving without a driver's license on Hwy 641N and passing in a no passing zone. James Allen of Camden was arrested on a warrant and held without bond for failure to appear. Arrests 11/12/08 Thomas Burgess of Buchanan was charged with public intoxication. Jeff Patton of College St. was arrested at Magnolia Apt. and charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent. Chester Carroll of Alabama was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Justin Long of Jones Bend Rd. was charged with a 3rd driving on a suspended driver's license. Arrests 11/8/08 Anderson Jackson of Brewer St. was charged with public intoxication. Jeremmel Kinley of Cooper St. was charged with theft of services and a 2nd driving on a suspended driver's license. Donald Burnett of Springville was charged with 3 counts of theft over $500.
Arrests 11/7/08
On Wednesday the Henry County Sheriff's Office, the Paris Police Department and the Metro Crime Unit searched the residence of 2465 Pleasant Hill Rd. after Officer Jamie Myrick, while on routine patrol, detected a strong chemical smell coming from the residence which had been known to house a meth lab in the past. Cpl William Mellon and Sgt. David Powell responded to the location of Officer Mellon where the strong odor came from . A search warrant was obtained and a meth lab with various items used in the production of meh were found, located in the residence. Arrested were Randall Smith , Nick Flood and Samantha Arnold of Druid Ln. All were charged with manufacture of meth, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. The suspects were observe pouring chemicals down the sink. Also on Wednesday officers were called to 3150Thomas St. Apt. 1 where a search of the residence found crack cocaine. Charged were Tom Dalton and Timothy Dunlap with possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver. On Thursday Tonya Prince of Camden was arrested for Promotion of the Manufacture of Meth. The Metro Crime Unit filed charges after an investigation by them and the the Benton Sheriff's office revealed that Prince had purchased pseudoephedrine in Henry County for the purpose of meth manufacture and reckless disregard of its intent. Arrests 11/6/08 In a report released by the Henry County Sheriff's Office covering August actives, Sheriff Belew reported an average of 145 prisoners were housed in the Henry County Correctional Facility per day. 62 of the prisoners were state prisoners generating $61,000 in revenue from the state of TN to Henry County General Fund. The Inmate Commissary generated $1,137.81 in revenue and the Inmate Receivables generated $2,792.94 in Revenue for the month. For the month 63 arrests and citations were issued for driving violations. 9 motorists were charged with DUI. 2 vehicles were seized for driving on a revoked or DUI. The Metro Crime Unit made 51 drug arrests, seized $2,029.00 in cash and 1 vehicle. Arrests 11/5/08 Kelly Dunlap of Murray was charged with shoplifting at Wal-Mart. Sailor Simpkins of Caledonia St. was charged with failure to appear. James Datrumn of Gleason was charged with failure to appear. Arrests 11/4/08 James Datrum of Gleason was charged with failure to appear. Lester Carpenter of Guthrie Rd. charged with contempt of court. Kevin Duede of 641S was charged with violation of probation. Bryan Roberts of Hwy 69N was held without bond and charged with violation of sentence. Thomas Maturz of Memorial Dr. was charged with public intoxication. Gregory Bessent of Gleason was charged with a second DUI and violation of the implied consent law. Freeman Green of Milan was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Ayman Mandil of Murray was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stephenie Weeks of Crossville was charged with underage possession and consumption. Sean Glover of Washington St. was charged with public intoxication and introduction of a controlled substance into a penal institution. Malynda Finney of Hazel was charged with a 2nd DUI, driving on a revoked driver's license, speeding and leaving the scene of an accident. Gina Moore of Louisiana was held without bond and charged with violation of probation. Items stolen from a residence on Eagle Creek Loop including a chain saw and a leaf blower were found in a local pawn shop. Also taken was a wallet containing $200 in cash. A LP tank and a propane tank were stolen from a trailer in Springville. A gunshot was reported to have been shot into a vacant trailer on Guthrie Rd. The bullet from a muzzle loader. The ball went through the trailer wall and was found on the trailer floor. Arrests 11/1/08 Bert Hooper of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with DUI on N. Poplar St.
Alicia Harden of Camden was arrested on a ,mittimus in Benton County and charged with violation of the bad check law. James Adams of Springville was charged with theft of property over $500. Justin Tharpe of Harrison Meadows was held without bond and charged with contempt of court. Richard Fitzgerald of Cooper St. was charged with violation of probation out of Benton County. Kevin May of Pitt St. was charged with reckless driving and driving without a driver's license on Dunlap St.
