Arrests  11/30/06

     Several drug busts were made  on Nov. 28.  In a press release from the Henry County Sheriff's Office  it was stated that none of the searches were related.  

     Officer's of the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force, Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Paris Police Department along with the Metro Crime Unit executed a search warrant at 525 White Street in Paris.  Officers located marijuana bagged for resale at the residence along with a loaded Glock handgun.  Charged was Keenan Kendall of White St. with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent to sell and unlawful possession of a fire arm. 

    On Nov. 28 the Metro Crime Unit also searched the residence at 3325 Foundry Hill Rd.  Officers located marijuana that was bagged for resale and electronic scales.  Clyde Heavner of Foundry Hill was held without bond and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

     Also on Nov. 28  a search was done at264 Sloan Rd. in Springville.  Officers located a various components used for meth production.  A "separating" stage of meth production was found at the residence along with meth paraphernalia.  The Metro Crime Unit charged Paula Harvey of Sloan Rd. was held without bond and charged with initiation of meth process and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Christopher Triplett  of Ogburn St. was charged with violation of probation.

     Chad Evans of Cook St. was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Sean Barnett of Dunlap St. was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Ricky Allen of Bunn School Rd. was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Ross Mortensen of Dunlap St. was charged in general sessions court for violation of probation.

     James Arnold Jr. of Hwy 77 was arrested on an attachment out of Juvenile Court.

     David Lenard of Old Paris Murray Rd.  and Tonya Felock of Old Paris Rd. were held without bond for domestic assault. 

     Robert Peal of Union City, Latosha Carroll of Memphis and  Ashley Walls of Washington Court were arrested at Washington Court by Paris Patrolman Michael Ramos.  Peal and Carroll were charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent to sell or deliver and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  Walls was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent, assaulting an officer and child abuse/neglect

       

Arrests  11/29/06

     Eddie Wayne Freeman, 40, of Ross Sawmill Rd. was charged with 5 counts of rape and 5 counts of incest.  The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Henry County Sheriff's Office and Department of Children's Services.  The investigation stemmed from allegations that Freeman had sexual  intercourse with a minor female from March to December of 2005 at Freeman's place of business on Cole St. outside of McKenzie.

      This came on the heals of  the arrest of Ricky Neal Tanner, 34, of Dunlap St. who was charged Monday with rape after an investigation by the Sheriff's Office on allegations that he engaged in sexual penetration of a minor female without her consent at his residence on November 25, 2006.

     Terry Brown of Holladay TN was charged with failure to appear out of General Sessions Court and held without bond.

     Roberto Aquilro and Richard Gallimore  both of  Dresden were arrested at the Club Erotica parking lot and charged with public intoxication.

     Larry Dolberry of Mandalay Rd. was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     James Mayo of Powell St. was arrested on 2 counts of violation of probation.

     Kyle Downey of Old Salem Rd. was charged with failure to appear.

     Brandon  Gream of Henry  was arrested on Jim Merrell Rd.  near Puryear and charged with a felony evading arrest, failure to appear, violation of probation,  reckless endangerment,  3 counts of aggravated assault, theft of property over $10,000 and unlawful possession of a weapon .

     The arrest occurred when Deputy Dennis Vaughn answered a call on Megan Ln. of a stolen vehicle.  Vaughn met the vehicle on Goldstone Springs Rd.  almost driving the deputy into the ditch.  Meanwhile the owner of the vehicle reported that a loaded rifle was in the vehicle.  The deputy lost visual contact with the vehicle  Cream was in until it was spotted on Foundry Hill Rd.  The chase continued on Rowe School Rd.  At this point  Deputy Lance Perry joined in the pursuit which continued down  Shankle and Old Paris Murray Rd. to Jim Merrell.  At this point joining in the pursuit were Tennessee State Trooper Cox, Puryear patrolman Phil Brodell, Deputy Vaughn and Perry as well as Officer Josh Frye.  

     Gream entered a field with the others following where Gream struck Trooper Cox which caused the collision of Brodell  into the trooper's vehicle.  Deputy Lance Perry left the field to head off Gream.  Gream then  turned his vehicle and struck the trooper again.  Attempting to stop Cream,  Perry turned into him but Cream would not stop.  Gream's vehicle  slipped away and stuck Cox again pushing the trooper several yards before both Gream and Cox came to a halt.  When Gream's vehicle stopped and would go on further Gream surrender to the officers.

     

Arrests  11/28/06

     Ricky Tanner of Dunlap St. was held without bond and charged with rape Sunday.  According to investigators Tanner's victim was under 15.  The alleged  crime occurred at a Paris residence.

     Timothy Durham of Dresden was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.     

     Derico Patton of Jenkins St. was arrested for sale of a scheduled 2 drug, crack.

     Michael Gilbert of McKenzie was charged with violation of probation.

     David Snider of Holiday Acres was arrested for domestic assault Saturday.

     Jo Ann Williams of Depot St was charged with theft of property under $500.

     John Bucy of Buchanan was arrested on a 7th driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Amy Allen of Puryear was arrested for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Jerry Clayton of Paris Murray Rd. was arrested at the Mega Mart in McKenzie for aggravated burglary, theft over $500 and theft under $500.  The arrest occurred when officers responded to a burglary call.  A- be on the look out- was issued for a 1999 Buick that was missing from the residence.  The owner stated that Clayton had stole the vehicle before and he had been at the house earlier that day.  The vehicle was found by McKenzie PD at the Mega Mart along with Clayton.

     Timothy Williams of Atwood TN was arrested on a capias for sell of controlled substance.

     Donna Anderson of Camden  was arrested on 69A for DUI.

     Nathan Mohundro of KY was arrested on 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Michael Tharpe of Clifty St. was charged with theft of property.

     Bobby Abney of Palestine Rd. was charged on Friday with driving on a suspended driver's license and leaving the  scene of an accident.

     Patricia Allen of McKenzie was charged with DUI.

     Dana Laurence of Henry was charged with underage possession and consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia.

      Craig Redden of Murray was charged with public intoxication.

     $70 worth of Christmas yard decorations were reported stolen from Gilkey Dr. 

 

Arrests  11/27/06

     Patrick Callum and Charles Wilson Jr. both of North Carolina were arrested by Clay  Riley at Apple Farm where they were charged with hunting without a license, spotlighting deer, hunting from a motor vehicle, hunting in a closed season  and possession of illegal kill.

     Joisua French of Paris was charged with promotion to manufacture meth.

     Jessie Evans of Paris was arrested on a warrant for forgery.

     Bryan Bennett of Foundry Hill was arrested for domestic assault.

     Louise Sommerville of Irvine St. was held without bond for domestic violence.

     Brandy Reed of McKenzie was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

Deputies terminated a high speed pursuit  when the vehicle reached speeds exceeding 80 mph.  on Reynoldsburg Rd.  They were able to get the vehicle's license plate number and went to the address where it was registered.  The owner said that the vehicle had been taken  by a family member without the owners permission.  The vehicle had not been reported stolen.

Arrests  11/23/06

     Michael Evans of N. Market St. was arrested for assault and unlawful possession of a weapon with intent to go armed.  The arrest occurred when Deputy Jamie Myrick pull Evans over because he had an active  warrant for assault.  When the officer stopped him Myrick saw a loaded 38 Special , a BB gun and a police scanner in the passenger seat next to him.

     Brandon Merrell of Reynoldsburg Rd. was held without bond violation of an order of protection.

     William Long of Curtis St. was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court.

     John Noskins of Mansfield was charged with assault.

     Chad Evans of Cook St. was held without bond on 2 counts of assault.

     Jared Ainscough of E. Wood St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

  A 16 foot trailer was reported stolen from behind Kirk's Trading Post on Hwy 79.

 

Arrests  11/22/06

     Michel Cowell of New Johnsonville was charged with promotion of the manufacture of met, a class D felony.

     Judith Burgess, 43, of Buchanan was charged with failure to appear.

      Arroyo  Ray of Irvine St. was charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     James Lane, 44, of Edgewood St. was arrested on a capias for failure to appear.     

     Eley  Davis, 18, of Harrison L. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  All 4 were arrested by Deputy Jamie Myrick.

     Cynthia Ray of Irvine St. was arrested  for disorderly conduct at Yoo's 7/11.  The arrest occurred when she climbed into the vehicle that Officer Myrick was attempting to search.

     Rosie Alford of Lone Oak Rd. was arrested for failure to appear.

     Jarred Ainscouch of E. Wood St. was charged with domestic assault.

     Michael Philips of Forest Heights was charged with escape, vandalism and resist of stop halt and frisk.

Kendra Bomar of Cherry St. was charged with domestic assault.

     George Vinson of Old McKenzie Hwy. was arrested for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     

      Henry County School Resource Officer Buford Taylor arrested a Henry County High School student for pulling a fire alarm at the school which caused an evacuation.  The student stated that he had done it on a dare.  He was cited into juvenile court.

     An aggravated burglary was reported at a Hwy 54W residence. A 911 call was received from the resident who stated she was lying on the couch of the 2 bedroom house when she was awaken by 2 black males in hooded sweatshirts wearing ski masks.  They had entered through a back door with guns drawn.  They loaded the guns and told her to lie down on the floor.  The men took an X Box 360 and several games.  They then entered the 2 bedrooms where her roommates were sleeping and stole a cell phone from each room.  

Arrests  11/21/06

     Federal indictments were handed down for former Henry County Sheriff David Bumpus and former Henry County Sheriff's Office Business Director Faye Scott on Monday when the FBI, TBI came to Henry County.  9 counts against Bumpus and 8 against Scott have been filed. Charges  included  mail fraud and  theft and come after a lengthy investigation.  "This has brought a dark cloud over the sheriff's office," stated present Sheriff Monty Belew.   The Sheriff will be holding a press conference Tuesday morning. 

     Troy Eads of Indiana was arrested on Mineral Wells over the weekend and charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law and driving on a suspended driver's license

     Jaymie Novotny of WI was arrested in the parking lot of the 641 Club and charged with underage consumption and possession.

     Amy Beckeen of Murray was stopped on Hwy 641 and charged with underage possession and consumption, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     John Dilsaver of Paducah was arrested early Sunday morning at the 641 Club  and charged with underage possession and consumption.

     Ross Morlensen of Dunlap St. was arrested on Hwy 79N for a 2nd DUI, driving on a suspended driver's license, underage consumption and violation of the implied consent law.

     Louis Orduma of KY was arrested on 641N for underage possession and consumption.

   Morteles  Antributny of KY was arrested on Hwy 79S for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving with tail lights.

     Boloanos Oriduna of North Carolina was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and underage possession ad consumption.

     Shannon Kemp of Springville was charged with  theft of property.

     Frank Westerlund of McEwen TN was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and violation of the seat belt law.

     Michelle Martin of Sproul Heights was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     

Arrests  11/18/06

     On Nov. 15th the School Resource Officer Buford Taylor charged a 16 year old Henry County High School student with possession of scheduled 4 drugs with intent to sell or distribute.  The suspect had 3 different types of prescription medications, none of which he had a prescription for.  He was arrested and released to a parent.  He will appear in juvenile court in December.

     Other arrests included William Stone of McKenzie for DUI and child endangerment under the child protection act.

     Lawrence Vetrone of Camden was arrested on Hamlin Dr. for theft of property over $1,000.

     Lucas Hagan, 23, of KY was arrested at the 641 Club for public intoxication.

     Mark Atkins, 40,  of Cottage Grove was charged with reckless endangerment and cruelty to animals.

     Christina Doyle, 20, of Holland St. was arrested on 2 counts of forgery.   

     Charles Dunlap of Rison St. was charged with public intoxication.

     Harold Surber of Routon St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. 

     John North of Beaver Crest Dr. was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation and held without bond.

     Makecia Woodruff of  Johnson St.  was charged with  driving on a suspended driver's  license.

     Dana Hollnagel of 79S and Patricia Haguewood of Market St. were charged with theft.

     A stolen vehicle was recovered on Briar Patch Lake Rd.  The 2003 Chevy Pick up, valued at $19,000, had been left at a vacant house for several days and was reported by a neighbor.  The vehicle had been stolen from Florida.

 

Arrests  11/17/06

     Janet and Ira Inman of Memorial Dr were held without bond after their arrest late on Wednesday at their residence in McClain Trailer Park.  Both were charged with initiation of meth  manufacturing process, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  The arrests occurred when Paris Police officers smelled ether.  They obtained a search warrant, contacted the Metro Crime Init and search the trailer and a storage shed on the lot.  Containers, chemicals, batteries and other items used to produce meth were found.  A haz-mat  team was also called to the scene.

     Other arrests included Teresa Towater of McKenzie who was charged with failure to appear.

     Christopher Triplett  of Ogburn St. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.  The arrest was the result of a 911 call.  Triplett was hitch hiking on Jackson Dr. and was picked up by a female and several passengers.  He asked the victim for some money and when she took out her purse Triplett  pulled out a knife and told her to give all the money  to him or he would kill her.

 

Arrests  11/16/06

     Kenneth Dienst of Travis Rd. was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Colton Halstead of Paris Whitlock Rd., Tammera Belt of Martin, Travis Ellis of Dale St. and Sean Barnett of Dunlap St.    were arrested on Blythe and Brewer early Wednesday morning where they were charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug except Sean was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug.

     Dickie Ruder of Flint MI was arrested at Swiss Villa Parking lot for public intoxication.

     Charles Pruett of Cowan St was charged in court with violation of probation.

     Jeremy Teague of Reynoldsburg Rd. was arrested at Tyson and Mineral Wells for possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia and introduction of a controlled substance into a penal facility.

Jason Smith of Hwy 190 was charged with forgery.

     Russell Johnson Jr. of Bells TN was arrested and held without bond on charges of reckless endangerment, 2 counts of evading arrest, failure to appear, a 3rd driving on a revoked driver's license, reckless driving and criminal littering. 

Arrests  11/15/06

     On Nov. 12 the Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a prowler call on Old Union Rd.  Officer's Jamie Myrick and  Sgt. David Powell responded to the call.  Myrick pulled a vehicle over that was leaving the property and charged the individuals that were in the vehicle  with several offenses.  A further investigation was done in which officers located an active meth lab on the property where the vehicle had left.   Components and chemicals used in meth production were located as well as finished methamphetamine.   Also responding to the scene were Lt. Stan Pinson, Metro Crime Unit and Sheriff Monte Belew.  3 suspects were charged, James Gouge, 18, of Union Rd. was charged with manufacture of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth and escape, which Gouge had an active warrant against him for.    36 year old Benjamin Bradley of Hill Rd. was charged with manufacture of meth. and possession of meth.  John Barrett, 35, of Market St. was charged with possession of meth with intent to sell or deliver and manufacture of meth.  A haz mat unit was called to the scene.

     Other arrests included  Michael Phillips of E Blythe St. was charged with escape.

     Kevin Daniels of Memphis was arrested on Radford Lake Rd. for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  Rick Gilliam of Camden was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Roy Ward of Memorial Dr was charged with domestic assault.   

Arrests  11/14/06

     On Nov 10 the Metro Crime  Unit pulled over a white Dodge Neon after the vehicle nearly collided with Officer Jeremy  Whitaker of the Paris Police Department.  While officers were conduction an investigation with the occupants of the vehicle, a search was don of the vehicle where officers located approx. 1/2 oz. of cocaine.  Charged were Ashley Morris of Murray and Chad Hughes, also of Murray.  Both were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver.  Morris was also charged with possession of Xanax.  The vehicle was seized as well.

     Other arrests included    Barbara Curtis of Big Sandy  and Stacey Curtis of Camden were  arrested at Wal-Mart.  Barbara  for public intoxication, Stacey for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Marvin Hayman of Thompson St. and Charles Durett of Cowan St. were arrested on Saturday.  Hayman  for underage possession and consumption and criminal trespassing.  Durett was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

     Christy Ward of Mason Lane  was charged with contempt of court out of juvenile court.

     Dei Cooper of S. Mark I was charged with theft of property over $500.

     Phyllis Griffith of Dresden was charged with criminal trespassing.

     Dangelo Patton of Irvine St. was arrested on 2 counts of sale of a scheduled 2 drug and violation of probation out of circuit court.

     James Hall of Puryear was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Kevin Parrish of Henry was arrested at Club Erotica for public intoxication.

     William Ivy of Hollow Rock was arrested on Hwy 79S for DUI.

     Alicia Eares of Hazel was arrested on N Market St. for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Eric Hosford of Hwy 641N was  arrested at the Huddle House for DUI.

     John Title of Camden was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     John Barrett of Park Village Apt.  and Benjamin Bradley of Hill Rd. were arrested at 4am Sunday  on Old Union Rd.  and charged with manufacture of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of scheduled 2 with intent.

     Vanda Hamilton of N Market St. was arrested for DUI.

     Tanya Arringston of Chickasaw St. was charged as a fugitive from justice.

     Kermit Punch of Jackson was held without bond on a puck up mittimus out of Madison Co.

    Richard Tharpe of McKenzie was held at the McKenzie Police Department on an attachment . 

     James Gouge of Old Union Rd. was held without bond for manufacture of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and a warrant for escape.  Gouge was also involved in a report of a stolen vehicle on Sunday.  The 1999Olds was reported stolen from Old Paris Murray Rd.  The vehicle had been involved in an accident and when officers arrived Gouge, who was driving jumped out and  fled while an unknown passenger drove off.  The vehicle was later found on Old Union Rd. 

     

Arrests    11/11/06

     Talmadge Crowder of Antioch TN was arrested for a 2nd driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Jenna Orlan of McKenzie was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Jamie Harrison of Boyce St. was charged with disorderly conduct.

     Scott Carroll of Spruce St. was charged with violation of probation.

     Lauren Thomasson of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Thomas Thomas of Dunlap St. was charged with violation of probation.

     Benjamin Day of Hwy 192 was held without bond for violation of probation.

     William Johnson Jr. of Short Rd. was held without bond for failure to appear for violation of probation.

     Amanda Shannon of Russell St. and Ricky Allen were arrested on Bun School Rd. where Shannon was charged with filing a false report and Allen was arrested on warrants for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and car exchange of a controlled substance.  Officers made the arrests when they answered a call to the residence unrelated to the warrants.

     A residence on Pine Tree Dr. was reported broken into.  The home had been ransacked.  The only thing found missing was a chainsaw.

     Wiring and plumbing were found missing from a new mobile home when it was delivered to Rabbit Creek Rd. 

Arrests  11/10/06

      Joseph Coleman of Hwy 69A was arrested on a warrant and held without bond for violation of sentence.

     Carol Summers of Henry was arrested at the Carroll County Jail for possession  of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a controlled substance, manufacture of meth and possession of meth with intent to sell or deliver. 

     Rose Underwood of Hwy 641 was charged with failure to appear.

     Thomas Thomas and Lauren Thomasson, both of Old Paris Murray Rd were both held without bond and charged with domestic assault.  The arrest occured when a 911 call was received from the residence where a juvenile said someone was trying to kill him.  A fight had broken out between the son of the house and a foster son when the girlfriend of the son made advances toward the juvenile.  The foster son stated that the son had hit him with a board when the other mans girlfriend exposed herself to the juvenile.

     The Henry County Sheriff's office is receiving many reports of deer vs. vehicle.  The deer many times wins.  For most incidents a report must be on file to collect on Insurance claims.

Arrests  11/09/06

     Kimberly Noble of Dunlap St. was charged with simple assault.

     Paul Pearson of Wynn St. was arrested on a capias on charges of selling a controlled substance.

     Brad Scott of McIntosh Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Rebecca Batte of College St. was arrested for domestic assault.

     James Johnson of Jackson TN was arrested on Wood St. for public intoxication. 

Arrests  11/08/06

Casey Walters of Gilbertsville KY was arrested at the Club Erotica for underage consumption.  He became combative and officers had to force him into the patrol unit on the  parking lot and use a chemical spray to subdue him.

     Thomas Thompson of Dunlap St. was arrested on Depot St. and charged with attempted burglary, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and evading arrest.

     Michel Lewis of Vandyke Rd. was charged with vandalism.

     Mark Carey, 26, of Cedar Grove was charged with forgery and theft of property under $500.

     Kristi Rushing and Angela Elkins, both of Rabbit Creek Rd. were arrested at Wal-Mart and charged with shoplifting.

     Christopher Allen of Old McKenzie Hwy was charged with DUI, carrying a weapon in public and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Mitchell Shearer of Buck Branch Rd. was arrested for aggravated burglary and theft of property. 

     

Arrests  11/07/06

     

Scott Carroll of Spruce St. was charged with reckless endangerment.

     Daniel Orr of Lone Oak Rd. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Derrick Starmes of Scott Evans Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     William Tomlin Jr. of 69S was arrested for failure to appear.

     Jennifer Roper of Harrison St. was arrested on Lake St. for DUI.

     Roy  Bains of W. Wood St. was arrested on a pick up mittimus.

     Jason Blanton of Chickasaw was charged with failure to appear.   

Brian Hicks of Puryear was arrested for DUI and violation of the implied consent law at the Minit Mart in Puryear.

     Robert Williams of Irvine St. was charged with aggravated burglary.

     Bobby Johnson of McKenzie was arrested on Washington St. for public intoxication. 

     Justin Driver of Mayfield KY was arrested on Hwy 641 by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for disorderly conduct.

     Crystal Mealer of McKenzie was arrested at Washington Court for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Christopher Allen of Old McKenzie Hwy  was charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The arrest occurred when officers found his wrecked vehicle in the ditch on Old McKenzie Hwy.  Deputies reported he was dazed and confused.

     A vehicle stolen from Calloway Co in KY was discovered by a hunter with the TWRA  on Puryear Crossland Rd.  The vehicle was a 2006 Ford F-350.

Arrests  11/04/06

     Paul Wallace of Lone Oak Rd was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court.

     Carlos  Melton of McKenzie was arrested on a pick up mittimus and for underage drinking.

     James Wilbanks of Louisville Ky.,  James Evilsizer of Calyle ILL and Tyler Ceib of Murray were arrested at the 641 Club by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for underage possession and consumption of alcohol.

     Rosie Allford of Lone Oak Village was charged at the sheriff's office with aggravated burglary and theft under $500.

     Amanda McDaniel of Point Pleasant Rd. was arrested at Fresh Market Restaurant for violation of probation.  

     Edward Hubbard of Macedonia  Rd. was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.  The arrest occurred when deputies arrived on the scene after receiving a call from a resident of 2 men wanting a ride and needing help.  When the neighbor refused they left.  The officers found  a vehicle that had gone off Macedonia Rd in a curve , struck a tree and rolled the vehicle over.  The owner of the vehicle returned while the deputies were there and could smell alcohol on Hubbard.  Due to injuries he was unable to perform field sobriety tests.

 

Arrests  11/03/06

     Evalyn Casen of Big Sandy was charged with theft of property.

     Wimbery Ray of Head Street was charged with failure to appear.

     Sheila McDaniel of Jackson Forest Rd. was charged with filing a false report.

     Joshua Beecham of Camden was charged with violation of probation out of Circuit Court.

     Lawrence Utley of Old Pisgah Rd. was  arrested for possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Linda Jackson of Dixie Village Ln. was charged with assault.

     Jennifer Woody of Henry was charged with violation of registration and driving on a suspended driver's license. 

     Vandalism on Halloween night was reported at a residence on Hwy 79S.  A vulgar word was painted in red on the front door and a smiley face was painted on the garage door.  Trees in the front yard had been T.P.ed and eggs were thrown at the house.

     Vandalism was also reported in Henry on Atlantic Ave. where a resident reported that all four of his tires had been cut.  The vehicle was parked in the street in front of the house.

     A home on Vine St. also reported that their back door had been painted black.

 

Arrests  11/02/06

     Danny Irvine of Old McKenzie Hwy, Andrew Elliott of Hwy 69N and Caleb Sherrod of Albert Brown Ln. were arrested on Dunlap ST. Irvine was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, evading arrest and vandalism under $500.  Sherrod was charged with vandalism and underage drinking.  Elliott was charged with vandalism under $500 and underage consumption.

     Andy Pendue of Springville was held without bond for domestic violence.

     Keith Bomar of Lee St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Cherish Radriquez of Old Union Rd. was charged with domestic assault.

     Tina Powell of Mansfield was charged in court with violation of probation.

     Christopher Townes of Brown St. was held without bond for theft of property.

     Kimberly Teague of Glisson St. was charged at the sheriff's office with drug fraud.

        Crystal Greer of Hwy 77 was arrested for failure to appear and violation of the bad check law.

     A theft of a DVD player, a Play Station 2 and several games was reported from a Buck Branch Rd. residence. 

 

Arrests  11/01/06

     Amy Evans of Guthrie Rd. was held without bond for failure to appear to do a jail sentence.

     Robert Meredith of Puryear was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Winifry Ray of Head St. was arrested on Hwy 79 for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     James Grimmin  Jr of Irvine St. was charged with aggravated statutory rape.

     Wanda Robbins of Murray was charged with violation of probation.

     James Sanders of Milan was charged on a capias for failure to appear and violation of the bad check law.

     Joseph Marrs of Market St. was charged with assault.

     Vandalism was reported to a residence on Hwy 641N.  The breaker box had been stripped, an air condition unit was taken as was the hot water heater and copper wires were stripped from the attic, the toilet was also broken.

     Chapel Hill Baptist Church reported that the churches cooling and heating unit had been stolen.

     A resident on Rabbit Creek Rd. who was in the process of moving returned home to find a young female asleep on her couch.  The intruder was believed to be a 12 year old girl,  also from Rabbit Creek Rd. who had been reported to the sheriff's office earlier in the day as having stolen her mother's 2006 Toyota.   The resident stated the only thing disturbed was that all the orange drink was gone as well as a few crackers and some peanut butter.
