Arrests 3/31/07 Kevin Shelton of Minor St. was charged with violation of probation. Jerri Satterfield of Manley St. was held without bond for violation of probation. David Sager of Wynn St. was held without bond for violation of probation. Thomas Bowsey of Camden was charged with violation of probation. Mikela Freeman of Williams St. was held without bond after being charged in court with violation of probation/parole. Jacqueline Hutchens of Dunlap St. was charged with violation of probation. Ronald Carter of Hwy 218 was arrested on Goch Ln. and held without bond for domestic assault. Arrests 3/30/07 In an update or on the Especially Aggravated Burglary over the weekend the Paris Police Department has issued warrants for 24 year old Marcus Lamont Olive of Belmont St. in Paris. Any information on Olive's whereabouts should be forwarded to the Paris Police Department at 642-2424 or the Crime Hot Line at 641-1411. Olive has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database with hopes that he will soon be in custody. According to Chief Tommy Cooper the investigation is now focused on a second person of interest involved in the crime. Investigators are working closely with victims and witnesses to bring this case to a close. Victim David Brewer is now resting at home recovering from gunshot wounds revived during the robbery and is reportedly doing well. In other arrests Lauren Brandon of Dover and Erica Odom of Dover along with Dann Piatt of Indian Mound were stopped on India Rd. around 2pm Wednesday. Brandon was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of paraphernalia. Odom and Piatt were charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug. Tina Sererance of Mansfield was held without bond and charged with domestic assault. Roy Hood of W. Wood St. was arrested at Wal-Mart for public intoxication. Travis Forthman of Clifty St. was charged with violation of trespassing directive. Mark Vestal of McLemonsville TN was arrested on Old McKenzie Hwy and charged with DUI and reckless driving. He was observed to be traveling at a high rate of speed on the wet pavement and as he went around a corner, lost control and went off into a ditch. He had a bag of prescription drugs, all in his name which he told officers he had just taken. Arrests 3/29/07 Derrell Ward of Williams St. was arrested on Curtis St. for failure to appear. Kevin Eubanks of Camden was charged with violation of probation. A hit and run accident was reported on Hwy. 641S. According to the traffic report a full size pick up truck side swipe a vehicle but did not stop. The deputy was flagged down just a few minutes after the accident but the pick up was no where around. The pick up was later located and the driver was cited for failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. A break-in was reported on Friendship Rd. Forced entry was found where the front door had been pried open, breaking the deadbolt. Drawers and a gun cabinet had been gone through but nothing was found missing. A relative of a recently deceased person when to the home on Bethesda Rd. to get some cloths for his funeral. She found that the live -in house keeper had changed the locks on the door. The housekeeper could not be located. A lock box containing birth certificates, jewelry and collectable coins was missing. An 18 inch pearl necklace was found missing from a purse left unattended during a wedding reception at the Paris Landing Convention Center. Arrests 3/28/07 On Saturday evening, March 24th around 7pm Paris Police officers were dispatched to the Henry County Medical Center in reference to a subject that had received a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and right thigh. An investigation showed that the victim, David Brewer and a passenger in the vehicle with him, Michael Case, had been the victims of an attempted robbery in the parking lot of a local apartment complex, Tyson Park Apts. The robber presented a hand gun and demanded money. The victims said they did not have any money. Brewer, the driver, then attempted to grab the gun and threw the vehicle into reverse. The unknown robber who was in the back seat with another passenger, Lil' Six ,fired the gun and fled. According to Investigator Ricky Watson a warrant on one suspect has been issued and a possible ID of the shooter has been made. If you have any information or were a witness to the crime you are asked to call 642-2424. other arrests include Chad Barnhart of Hillcrest Dr. was held without bond for failure to appear. Brian Hutchinson , 27, of Jenkins St. was arrested on an attachment out of juvenile court. Lois Cranford of Sharon TN was arrested on an attachment. Adriana Diggs of Harrison Ln. was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Rosie Allford of Whiskey Ridge Rd. was arrested on Irvine St. was charged with aggravated burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. Angela Bernardo of Maple St. was charged with failure to appear and violation of probation. Jack Hayes , 48, of Carlton Dr. was stopped at W. Wood and Fentress and charred with DUI, violation of the open container law and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
Arrests 3/27/07 Jerry Satterfield of Manley Rd. was arrested at Keith Baker Homes for burglary. Richard Kimmaman of Hollow Rock and Kenneth Stephenson of Hwy 69s were arrested on 69S Sunday. Kimmaman was charged with public intoxication, Stephenson was charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law. and destruction of county property. Katheryne Allen of Murray was arrested on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Paschall for underage possession and consumption. Elliott Andrew of Hwy 69N was arrested at the Manley Apt. Complex along with Jacob Kennon of Springville. Andrew was charged with evading arrest and underage consumption. Kennon was charged with public intoxication. Mark Crouch of Henry was stopped on Old Union Loop for DUI, violation of the implied consent law and failure to show proof of insurance. James Sanders of Ozzie St. was charged as a fugitive from justice out of KY. Robert Lee of 140W was arrested on Hwy 641N for driving on a suspended driver's license. Gary Barlow of Reynoldsburg Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and public intoxication. Barbara Rentz of Holladay TN was arrested in the Super 8 parking lot and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of legend drugs. Christopher Stepp of Bruceton was arrested at Bottoms Up for public intoxication.. Phyllis Griffith of Dresden was held without bond for violation of an order of protection. Audrey Young of Langford Rd was arrested on Head St. for underage possession and consumption. Regina Mitchell of Springville was arrested at the probation office and held without bond for violation of probation. Billy Somerville of Manley St. was charged with burglary. Crystal Greer of N. Market St. was charged with failure to appear out of Carroll Co. Michael Schindler of Murray was charged with disorderly conduct . On Friday Leon Foster of Jenkins St., Robert Buie of Old McKenzie Hwy and Duane Smith were arrested on Echo Lane. Foster was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and scheduled 2 drug. Buie was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of registration. Smith was charged with criminal trespassing, violation of probation and failure to appear. A 4 wheeler valued at $6,719 was reported stolen from McIntosh Rd. Dollar General Store on Hwy 79 by the lake reported a break in. Nothing was found missing but the front door plate glass was shattered. Just minutes later an alarm went off at Paris Pluming, owner Joe Snow said that drawers had been gone through but nothing was missing. The front glass had been broken out. On Sunday one person was injured in a one vehicle accident on Shady Grove Rd. The driver tried to avoid a deer and went off the road way and turned the car over. She was treated for minor injuries.
Arrests 3/24/07 A fugitive that has been wanted by the Henry County Sheriff's office since July 2001 has been apprehended in California. Greg A. McCoy was arrested and charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine on May 3,2001. McCoy was swimming with family members and friends in July 2001 when Greg McCoy allegedly drowned. Authorities the area searched where he was alleged to have drowned but no body was ever found. Officers had reason to believe that McCoy staged his drowning in an attempt to avoid prosecution and the search was terminated. On March 21, 2007, Trinity County Sheriff's Office in California charged Clifton E. Brast with Terrorist Threats that involved Brast threatening an individual with a gun. Brast's fingerprints matched that of Henry County's fugitive Greg McCoy and a positive match was done confirming that Brast was indeed McCoy. Arrangements are being made to extradite McCoy from California to Tennessee for prosecution. Other arrests include Nick Flood of Druid Ln. was charged with aggravated assault. Joseph Joyner of Madison St. was charged in court with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. Gerald Jackson of Buchanan was charged with parole violation. Travis Rudd of Caledonia St. was charged with violation of probation. Michael Park of McEwen TN was held without bond for violation of probation and as a fugitive from justice out of Illinois. Kevin Shelton of Benton KY was charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver and introduction of a controlled substance into a penal institution. The vehicle he was in was being stopped because the passenger was observed to not be wearing a seat belt. When the vehicle turned into the drive of a house trailer known for its drug activity. The occupants were also know to officers for their drug involvement . They refused to give consent to search and appear very nervous. K-9 Vito was called in and discovered the drugs in Shelton's pocket - 4 rocks of crack cocaine. The vehicle and a cell phone used in selling and delivering the narcotics were seized. When Shelton arrived at the jail a through search revealed an additional 27 'wrapped rocks' hidden on his person.
Arrests 3/23/07 Raymond Fitzgerald of Cooper St. was held without bond for domestic assault. Kurt Stafford of Head St. was charged with public intoxication. Eric Palmer of McKenzie was arrested at the McKenzie Wal-Mart on a warrant for failure to appear. Dereke Fitzgerald of Hwy 54 was charged with parole violation. A burglary was reported at Polaris Landing on Hwy 79N. The glass was found broken out of the door of the business by a passer by who notified authorities. Paris PD and Sheriff's deputies cleared the building. A shoe print was found by the shattered glass out side the business. Inside the business only thing found disturbed was the cash register where $300 in change and some candy were found missing. Damage to the door was estimated at $300. A burglary was also reported at 54 Lawn & Garden Center on Hwy 54. A window was broken out of the business to gain entry and footprint was found in shattered glass outside the business. Nothing was found missing. A break in was reported at Oakhill Baptist Church. Entry was made through the back door. Nothing was found missing but some candy. The candy jar was taken to check for fingerprints. A theft from Profile Metals in McKenzie was reported to the Sheriff's office. Found missing were fiberglass pallets and bins which were later discovered at the Huntingdon Recycling Center were they had been sold for $4,000.
Arrests 3/22/07 On March 20th the Metro Crime unit along with officers of the Henry County Sheriff's office and the Paris Police Department conducted a traffic stop at Fairground Rd. on a red Mustang owned by Jason Taylor of Elm St. The vehicle was stopped due to a registration violation. A search of the vehicle was done in which officers located approx. a pound of marijuana and digital scales. A passenger in the vehicle, Vincent Rodriguez, along with Taylor were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Taylor's vehicle was also seized. Paul Franklin Todd, 23, of Joy St. was charged Tuesday with exploitation of a minor by Electronic Means and solicitation of a minor. The arrest was the result of investigation of allegations that Todd by use of the internet, including Myspace.com and instant massager, gave a minor female resident of Henry County information that led to a sexually explicit website which contained nude pictures of himself along with other sexually explicit material. Todd also solicited the minor to engage in sexual activity with him. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in Sept. 2006. Todd was released on a $2500 bond and will appear in general sessions court March 27th. Other arrests included Judith Ristucci of Ogburn St who was arrested at Walgreens for drug fraud. Larry Raymer II of Gleason was arrested on Macedonia Rd and held without bon and charged with violation of an order of protection.
Arrests 3/21/07 Tennessee and Kentucky law enforcement agencies teamed up to saturate the state line border between Tennessee and Kentucky from March 11th through March 17th. The Henry County Sheriff's office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Metro Crime Unit, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the Puryear Police Department saturated the Tennessee borders with Kentucky law enforcement working on the Kentucky side. The Kentucky Law enforcement agencies included Calloway County Sheriff's Department, Kentucky State Police, KY Vehicle Enforcement, Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force and Murray Police Department. Sheriff Monte Belew said that is a great example of how local and state agencies can pool their resources to combat crime. "This was an effort to decrease drunk driving and to decrease crime in general on the outermost edges of Henry County. THP Lieutenant Steve Russell felt that the effort was a great success and said all agencies hope to concentrate on these areas more in the future. The Sheriff released the total number of arrest made during this joint effort. There were 370 total citations and arrests including the following. 12 DUI's, 52 seatbelt violations, 41 drug charges, 7 fugitive arrests, 2 vehicles seized, 11 alcohol related violations, 3 child endangerment charges and 5 operating on a revoked or suspended driver's license. 13 sobriety/safety checkpoints were initiated and all remaining charges were traffic related. On March 18th the Metro Crime Unit searched Apartment Rd, Apt D the residence of Paul Bucy. Officers located meth and marijuana bagged for resale at the residence. Firearms were seized as well. Bucy was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of meth with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Chad Evans of Jackson St. was held without bond for violation of probation. Eric Palmer of McKenzie was held without bond on a warrant for failure to appear. Michelle Norris of Big Sandy was charged with theft of property over $50. Bryan Clayton of Lincoln St. was charged with 2 counts of violation of probation. Charlie Nored of Whitlock Rd. was held without bond on a warrant for domestic assault. Christopher Martin of Clifty St. was charged with public intoxication. Yashira Partor of Riggins St as charged with failure to appear. Arrests 3/20/07 Joanne Grayson of Hwy 140S was charged with failure to appear on a pick up mittimus. Marvin Long IV of Mansfield was charged with theft of services out of Carroll Co. Andrew Barrett of Cottage Grove was arrested at Chickasaw and Gail St. and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. Witnesses saw Barrett hit the parked car with his 1995 Monte Carlo and got the licenses plate number. He was located on Chickasaw by Paris PD. He stated he did not stay because he had been drinking. William Zimmerman of N Market St. was arrested at Bottom's Up for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Christopher Kinley of Cooper St. was arrested on an attachment . Casey Gray of Bruceton was arrested in the parking lot of Joe & Jerry's along with Joseph Sifrit of Hollow Rock and Dain Hudson of Camden. Hudson was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. The others were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Cpl David Doyle. Bruce Anderson of N Forest Ave. was charged with public intoxication at Club Erotica. Tamera Belt of Martin was charged with failure to appear. On Friday Jeff Townsend of Old Union Rd was held without bond for promotion of the manufacture of meth and on a state warrant for a felon in possession of a fire arm. Ronald Delagarza of Murfreesboro was arrested on Hwy 119 for public intoxication along with Robert Shain of Forest Dr. who was charged with DUI. The arrests were part of a check point conducted on Hwy 119 Friday night. Others arrested at the check point included Billy Lawson of New Concord KY for underage possession and consumption, Lisa McCoy of Hwy 79N for driving on a revoked driver's license. Ray Ryan of Wesley Pine Apts. was charged with failure to appear. Anthony Sparks of Casey Ln. was arrested on an attachment. The back door of the Foundry Hill Community Church of Christ Church was found damaged. The would be thieves could not enter because church benches had been used to block the doors. The church has experienced break ins in the past several years. An assault during a camp fire on Old McKenzie Hwy was reported. A whiskey bottle was used to hit the victim over the head who was transported to the emergency room. Vandalism was reported at the Henry County Co-op. 2 juveniles had spray painted the gas pumps with red paint. Estimated damage caused by the 11year old and the 14 year old was $1500.
Arrests 3/17/07 Jeffrey Johnson of Almo KY was brought back to Henry County from Graves Co. jail for criminal attempt to commit 2nd degree murder and aggravated assault. Windy Ramsey of Powell St. was arrested on Market St. for possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Seth Arrant of Murray was arrested at the Minit Mart on 641 and charged with driving on a suspended driver's license, criminal trespassing, failure to dim lights and violation of the seat belt law. Fleet Broom of Belmont St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Crystal King of Henry was charged with possession of a scheduled 4 drug. Reggie Barrentine was arrested at Wal-Mart for Shoplifting when he attempted to steal an 'Iron Butterfly' CD. Arrests 3/16/07 Jefferson Freeman of Hardy St. was arrested at the Paris Police Department for disorderly conduct. Amanda Qualls of Henry was charged in General Sessions Court with failure to appear. Anthony Peters of Hill Rd. was arrested at the Mini Mart in Puryear for theft over $1,000. Phyllis Griffith of Dresden was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license, unregistered vehicle and speeding. She was clocked doing 69mph in a 50mph zone. Ronnie Knott of Buchanan was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Gerald Jackson of Buchanan was arrested on Wynn St. for aggravated burglary, criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. James Glisson Jr. ,51, of Reynoldsburg Rd. was held without bond for domestic assault. The arrest occurred when a 911 call was received from Glisson's elderly parents stating that he was on medications and became violent, was yelling and screaming, threatening them with a knife. Temple Hillinrd of McKenzie was stopped for driving on a suspended driver's license. Randy Flood of Hwy 79N was held on a no contact bond for stalking.
Arrests 3/15/07 Bonnie Rodriguez of Martin was charged with 4 counts of driving on a suspended driver's license. Mark Stewart of Guthrie Rd. was arrested by Maverick's on Memorial Drive and charged as a habitual motor Vehicle offender and violation of the registration law. Phillip Bomar of Camden was arrested by Yoo's 7-11 for driving without a driver's license and evading arrest. Michael Story of Puryear was stopped at Crossland Rd. and Hwy 641 where he was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent, simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug as well as speeding. He was stopped for doing 71 mph in a 55mph zone. He consented to a search of his vehicle were officers found 4baggies of marijuana( 4 oz.(, a small baggie of meth, 3 xanax pills and a set of scales. He was arrested and his vehicle seized. Suzanne Axley of Camden was arrested on a warrant for promotion of the manufacture of meth. Richard Lowe of Hwy 54 was charged with driving without a driver's license. Brook West of Harrison Ln. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Jeremy Littleton of Blythe St. was charged with violation of probation. Jeremy Moore of Elkhorn Noble Rd. was charged with 2 counts of forgery and failure to appear. Myron McCrary of Jackson was charged with possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon. Wendy Ramsey of Powell St. was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of legend drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Miranda Crouch of Harrison Ln. was charged with criminal trespassing. A burglary on Old Union Loop to a cabin in the woods was reported. Stolen were 2 iron skillets, 2 bottles of water and an African mask valued at $300. Entry was made by breaking out a window. A burglary was also reported at a residence on Old Union Rd. Cigarettes and medications were reported missing. Several rooms had been gone through. The door had been left unlocked.
Arrests 3/14/07 Justin Mobley was charged at the Henry Post office with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrested with him was Crystal King of Henry for possession of a scheduled 4 drug. The arrests were the result of a tip that drugs were in the car. Roger Younger of Puryear was stopped on Hwy 119 for DUI, speeding - doing 67 in a 55mph zone- and violation of the seat belt law. Kenneth O'Daniel, 40, of Puryear was charged with 3 counts of violation of probation ,a capias out of Circuit Court and failure to appear. Jamie Cain of Camden was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court. Chad Evans of Jackson St. was being held in Montgomery County Jail for charges of Theft over $1,000, a felony. A 2000 Olds, valued at $2,000 was stolen from Mocking Bird Ave. According to the owner a friend ask to borrow it and was told 'no'. He took it anyway and drove to Paris. While in town he was involved in a hit and run accident. The owner brought the car back to ask officers about the crash and when returning home the engine blew up.
Arrests 3/13/07 Jimmy Kee of Huntingdon was charged with aggravated assault. Kevin Atkins of Dover was stopped on Hwy 79N and charged with DUI, 2 counts of child endangerment and violation of the open container law. Brenda Hoover, 57, of Dover was arrested on Hwy 140 and arrested for DUI, violation of the implied consent law and simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug. Russ DeShields of Springville was held without bond on a warrant for violation of probation. Larry Watson of Puryear was stopped for driving on a revoked driver's license. Andrew Bolding of Huntingdon was arrested in the parking lot of HCMC for public intoxication. Jimmy Nolan of Dudley St. was arrested at the Post Office and charged with indecent exposure. Travis Rodd of Caledonia St. was arrested at E.W. James for theft under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia. He had attempted to steal 2 packages of meat. Todd Scanlar of Shady Grove Rd. was arrested at the Rainbow Club on Hwy 69S and held without bond for public intoxication Sunday night. Andrew Winding of Harrison St. was arrested at Wendy's and held without bond for domestic assault. David Coler of Hill Rd. was held without bond for violation of probation. Richard Lee of Springville was arrested Saturday and charged at the Rainbow Club with public intoxication. Stanley McBride of Henry was charged with public intoxication. Nathan Bates of Steele Rd. was held without bond on a pick up mittimus for a warrant for failure to appear. Charles Carter of Harrison St. was charged with a 2nd driving on a suspended driver's license, evading arrest, reckless endangerment and theft under $500. Robert Collins of Porter St. was arrested for a 6th driving on a revoked driver's license and habitual motor vehicle offender. Robert Bray of Springville was charged with violation of probation. Rodney Powell of Henderson KY was arrested on Brewer St. and charged with public intoxication. Jacob Mathis of Stewart TN was arrested on Mineral Wells for theft of property, (gas) and unlawful possession of a weapon. Jacob Metler of Wood St. was charged with theft under $500. Chastity Prince of Camden was arrested at Jim's Pharmacy and charged with obtaining a prescription by fraud. On Saturday night Derek West of Mayfield KY, Casey Jones of Columbus KY, Justin Suiter of Hickory KY, Brahm Riley of Mayfield KY, Travis Leech of Mayfield KY and Cody Alpin of Sedalin KY were arrested in the parking lot of the Spider's Webb in Puryear for underage consumption. The arrests of the men, who ranged from 11th graders to college freshmen, occurred when officers set up traffic radar equipment in the parking lot of the bar. A 1992 Buick, valued at $2,500 was reported stolen. The subject stated that his exgirlfriend had spent the night and when he awoke the vehicle, the girlfriend and his 2 small daughters, whose mother was the girlfriend, were gone. Stolen from Whispering Pines Rd was a central heating and cooling unit, 2 riding lawn mowers and a car engine that were in the yard of the residence. A rifle, semi automatic pistol ad a snub nose revolver was found missing from a Clifty Rd. residence. All of the guns were located in different parts of the house and no forced entry was found.
Arrests 3/10/07 Joshua Gallimore of Buchanan was held without bond for failure to appear. Kenneth Harner of Murray was arrested in Routon for sexual battery2 counts of theft under $500 and aggravated assault. Coleman Durham of Hwy 69A was arrested on a warrant for promotion of the manufacture of Meth. Kenneth Phillips of McKenzie was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and violation of financial responsibility. Jean and Walter Moore Jr. of Jackson were arrested on warrants for theft of property. Jennifer Burns pf Waverley was arrested on a warrant for promotion of the manufacture of Meth. A fire in the yard next to the Western Oak Grove Baptist Church was reported by Tammy Hinson, Assistant Fire Chief of the Paris Landing Volunteer Fire Department. According to Hinson there were no signs of accelerants or containers and no suspicious activity in the area. The matter is under investigation. Power Saws valued at $300 were reported stolen from an unlocked shed on Hwy 140E
Arrests 3/9/07 Donnie Tharpe of Bucy Circle was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Jason Harrell of Murray was held without bond for violation of an order of protection. Leon Foster of Jenkins St. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license and evading arrest. Ron Bomar of Camden was arrested on Jones St. for possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and unlawful possession of a hand gun. Arrests 3/8/07 Jonathan Arnold of Beech St. was arrested at the Benton Co. line on a warrant and charged with promotion of the manufacture of meth. Pamela Lowe of Cook St. was arrested at the Courthouse Annex and held without bond for contempt of court. Phyllis McPherson of Murray was pulled over at the Fuel Pro and charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. The arrest was the result of officers seeing her cross the center line and speeding up and down. Kenneth Vest of Camden was arrested on a warrant for promotion of manufacture of meth. Bryan Farhart of Arlington KY was charged with felony evading arrest, 2 counts of aggravated assault, a 2nd DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the implied consent law. The arrest occurred when Paris Police answered a call of a suspicious vehicle parked at the Henry County Health Department Building on Joy St. When officers arrived Farhart tried to leave the parking lot. Officer Sgt. Lanius blocked the exit but Farhart rammed the officer's vehicle. He then rammed Officer Bill Bussey in the rear of his vehicle and then rammed Lanius a second time. Bussey used his vehicle to push Farhart onto a concrete curb. Farhart was able to break free of the curb and accelerated, heading for the building. Lanius blocked Farhart who then drove his vehicle into a column and shrubbery at the health department. Bussey blocked the other end of the vehicle which continued to spin its wheels in an attempt to get away. At this point Officer Lanius exited his vehicle and fired 3 rounds into the rear tire of Farhart's vehicle. With weapons drawn the officers approached the vehicle. Farhart was unable to open his passenger door which was pinned against the colon of the building. When he finally was able to get out of the vehicle officers reported that he seemed dazed and confused. Farhart said he did not need medical attention, he had a drug problem and he had just shot up some cocaine. Farhart refused a blood test. Arrests 3/7/07 Kristen Cole, 24, of Dogwood Ave. was arrested Monday and charged with promotion of the manufacture of meth. Nicholas Flood of Durid Ln was held without bond as was Mandy Arnold also of Durid Ln for domestic assault. Andre Johnson of Cooper St. was charged with assault. Authur Tharpe of Williams St. was held without bond for failure to appear. A dog bite was reported in Springville. The bite to the cheek was unprovoked. The Shitzu was up to date with its shots. Arrests 3/6/07 The Henry County Sheriff's office and the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force conducted a raid on the Club Erotica Friday night. The raid was caused by the numerous complaint calls received about the club. A search warrant for drugs was issued and a restraining order was also served, that depending on the legal outcome of the case, could close the club down. Arrests made at Club Erotica on Hwy 79 Friday night included Tyrone Nash, 50, of Huntingdon for public intoxication. Sarah Wilkerson of McKenzie for possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent. Caleb Hyatt of Cottage Grove for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug. Steven Rickard, 55, for disorderly conduct and interference with the law process. Justin Essory for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug. Other arrests included Michael Tharpe of Clifty St. who was arrested on Manley St. for public intoxication. Nicky and Kenneth List of Hwy 641 were charged with theft under $500 and harassment. Jason Smith of Hwy 190 was held without bond and charged at the sheriff's office on a capias for aggravated burglary, forgery, failure to appear and 9 warrants for violation of the bad check law. Joshua Johnson of Rison St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. William Hamm of Curtis St. was held without bond on 2 counts of violation of probation. Dee Cooper of Henry was charged with failure to appear. Anthen Parker of Bruceton was charged with violation of probation, failure to appear and escape. Michael Kennedy of Mays Bridge Rd. was charged with under aged consumption. Cammeron Hensley of Murray was arrested at the 641 Club for public intoxication. Ronald Samplers of Blythe St. was arrested at the Bottom's Up bar for criminal trespassing. Roshod Phelps of Cooper St. was arrested at the Huddle House for reckless endangerment. David Johnson of E. Washington St. was charged with disorderly conduct. Mary Tayloe of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with failure to appear. Darrian Allen of McKenzie was held without bond for domestic assault. Derrell Ward of Williams St. was charged with a 2nd driving on a suspended driver's license. Gina McDaniels of Greenfield TN was charged with promotion of manufacture of meth.
Arrests 3/3/07 Chris Rogers of Robinson Dr. was charged in general sessions court with violation of probation. James Breer of Springville was charged with 2 counts of violation f community supervision service. John Eaker of Head St. was charged with failure to appear. Randy Dozier of Ashland City was arrested at Matt's Pub and charged with public intoxication and vandalism. The arrest occurred when Dozier had an argument with friends. He stated he left to cool off and when leaving slammed the door , breaking it off the hinges. Arrests 3/2/07 Curtis Ray of John Lee Dr. was arrested for domestic violence. Paula Pearson of Hollow Rock was charged with domestic assault. The arrest occurred when the victim call for help from a firefighter radio. The Sheriff's department received a report of a dog bite in McKenzie. According to the report a Chow entered the yard where a child was playing and, unprovoked, bit the child. A vehicle, a 1988 Toyota Pickup truck was found in the back of property on Old Union Rd. When the vehicle was checked out by officers it was discovered that it was stolen. Arrests 3/1/07 5 arrest for promotion of the manufacture of meth were made Wednesday. Tracy Norwood, 38, of Old Union Loop Rd. Tonya Felock, 31, of Old Paris Murray Rd. David Leonard,26, of Old Paris Murray Rd. Stephen Grande of Dale Rd. and Mandy Arnold of Durid Ln. Bonds were set at $5,000 to $10,000. John Mann of Wilson St. was charged with failure to appear. Ronald Webb of Sproul Heights Rd. was charged with aggravated burglary. Phillip Bomar pf Camden was charged with theft under $500. Bomar was caught stealing scrap metal from a trailer that was being torn down. Christopher Schramm was arrested in Hospital Circle for underage possession and consumption. In the vehicle with him were 2 juveniles who had run away from their residence early in the evening. A break in and robbery was reported at Dinkins Homes. Some of their mobile homes had been entered. Taken was a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, light fixtures and a kitchen sink as well as a roll of carpet. The matter is under investigation.
