Arrests  3/31/06

     Justin Holland of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Charles Williams of Washington St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Anna Burnett of Palmersville was charged with failure to appear.

     Chris Barcio of Hwy 641N was charged with domestic assault.

     Joseph Johnson of Rison St. was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Kevin and April Williams of Riggins St were arrested on a warrant for child abuse.

     The 1991 Dodge Dakota that was stolen earlier in the week was recovered in Tipton Co.

     A cell phone was reported stolen from a locker in the Field House at Henry County High School.

     Solicitation of a minor, a15 year old girl on Depot St. was reported to Paris Police.

 

Arrests   3/30/06

     Patrick Wilson of Tanglewood Ln. was arrested at Wal-Mart and charged with stalking.

     Christopher Haynes of Railroad Rd. was charged with violation of probation out of general sessions court.

     Brian Hutcherson of Jenkins St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Angela Darkes of Springville was arrested at Perkins Drugs and charged with 2 counts of drug fraud, a felony.

     Robert Perry of Curtis St. was charged in court with failure to appear.

     Jeremy Dube was charged in court with failure to appear.

     David Swain of Norwood Dr. was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Lisa Bates of Puryear was charged with filing a false report.

     Jeremy Shelton of Scott Evans Rd. was charged with assault and filing a false report.  The arrest came when officers responded to a call stating that his wife was in a field across the road being raped. When deputies arrived they could find no woman and there was no field, just houses across the street.  They found Shelton who was very agitated and when they asked him to calm down and tell them what had happened he began cussing them and struck the deputy.  A family member told the officers that Shelton should be tested for drugs and that his wife was not home.  The woman was contacted at work.

     A 1991 Dodge Dakota was reported stolen from a Reynoldsburg Rd. residence.

     

Arrests   3/29/06

     Elvis Ray Jr., 21, of Brewer St was arrested on Caledonia St for criminal trespassing.

     Michael Burton of Short Rd. was charged with 2 counts of violation of the bad check law.

     Gary Hall who was arrested earlier this week had further charges added to his arrest, which now includes criminal attempt to commit arson and aggravated burglary.

     Ernest Stewart Jr. of Marge Drive was arrested on Hwy 69N and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Blazie Sypin of Osage Crossland Rd was arrested at Yoo’s and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license, simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 A double axel trailer was reported stolen from a yard on Old McKenzie Rd.  The trailer was valued at $1,000.  

     A pistol was reported missing from a residence on Melissa Dr.

 

Arrests   3/28/06

     Rhonda Runyer of Antioch Harbor Rd. was held without bond on charges of failure to appear; violation of probation, and violation of the bad check law.

     Carlos Conway of Gwen St. was charged with failure to appear.

     Eric Olschewski of Springville was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked driver’s license Saturday on E. Antioch Rd. where officers observed him driving down the center of the roadway and run a stop sign.

     Gary Hall of Pleasant Point Rd. was arrested and held without bond on 2 counts of failure to appear, as a fugitive from justice out of Calloway Co. and assault to an officer.  According to the sheriff’s office he was observed trying to start a fire in a neighbors home.  When officers arrived he refused to get in the patrol car, going limp.  When officers attempted to put him in the vehicle he struck and kicked them.

       

Kenneth Owen II of Dyersburg was arrested in Henry for DUI.

     Richard Gryzik of Springville was arrested for public intoxication.

     Jerry Lee of Gleason was arrested on Brewer for public intoxication.

     Twilla Ward of N Porter St was arrested over the weekend for criminal trespassing.

     Gordon Davis of Big Sandy was charged with failure to appear.

     Jason Crockarell of N. Poplar St. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and a scheduled 6 drug as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Bill Jewel of Oliver St. was arrested on a 2nd DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Deborah Brandon of Huntingdon was charged with DUI after she was observed by officers crossing the centerline and heading into oncoming traffic on Pleasant Hill Rd.

     Kenneth Knight of McClain St. was charged with public intoxication.

     Thomas Walters of Murray was arrested on Brewer St. for public intoxication.

     Jerry Arnold of Benton St. was charged with public intoxication.

      Michael Fuller of Chestnut Ln. was charged with public intoxication over the weekend.

     Zachary Farris of Belmont St. and Casey Hillard of Sloan Rd. were arrested on Lakeview Dr. and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

     Randy Evans of Puryear was held without bond for domestic assault.

 

Arrests   3/25/06

     Richard Broach of Dunlap St. was arrested on Irvine St and charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Sandra Thompson of Jones Bend Rd. was also arrested on Irvine St. and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     A report of stalking was received by the Henry County Sheriff’s office.  The Puryear father reported that a 31-year-old man was following his 15-year-old daughter.

    Futures Golf Course reported the theft of 20 to 30 gallons of gas from lawn equipment in the maintain ice shed.  No diesel fuel was missing.

 

Arrests  3/24/06

     Sandra Thompson of Jones Bend Rd. was arrested on Irvine St. by Paris Patrolman Jamie Myrick and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Arrested with Thompson was Richard Branch of Dunlap St. and charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     James Merrell of Hwy 641S was charged as a fugitive from justice.

     An aggravated burglary was reported to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.  Entry to the residence in Springville was made thru a rear door.  Fond missing were VHS movies, CD’s, DVD’s and a laptop computer valued at $1,500.

     Vandalism to 2 dirt-moving vehicles on Whitlock Rd. was reported.  Windows and lights were broken out of the machinery.

 

Arrests   3/23/06

     William Brown of Buchanan was arrested on an attachment for contempt of court.

     William Henry of Replogle Rd. was arrested on a warrant for non-support.

     Christopher Saros of Eva TN was arrested at the Henry County Medical Center for public intoxication.

Glenda Hutcherson of Cliftty Rd. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of a scheduled 4 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Quanine Rickman of Dover was held without bond on charges of driving on a suspended driver’s license, violation of the open container law and as a fugitive from justice out of Florida.

     Brett Charles of Michigan was charted in court with failure to appear.

     A Pitt bulldog was reported running lose and growling at neighbors in the Springville area.  This was the 3rd report about the dog.

     Theft of property from a display home at Keith Baker Homes was reported to Paris Police.  A newly delivered home was missing the ceramic top stove, valued at $600.

 

Arrests   3/22/06

     George Bailey of N Market St. was charged at the sheriff’s office with aggravated criminal trespassing.

     Floyd Staughter Jr. of Lone Oak Rd. was charged in general sessions court and held without bond for failure to appear.

     Quamaine Rickman of Dover was arrested on 641N when he was observed by officers driving recklessly.  When he was stopped he had an open bottle of vodka in the car next to him.  A check by officers found that he was wanted in Florida on a capias for possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia.  His Florida driver’s licenses had also been suspended for failure to pay a fine.

 

Arrests   3/21/06

     Christy Lamb of Norman Dr. was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Kenneth Townsend of Eva TN was charged at the jail with filing a false police report.

     Roger Williams of Twin Oaks and Rebecca Hughley of Dresden were arrested behind Goody’s and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.  Williams was also charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

     Valery Scott of Springville was charged with driving on a suspended dive’s license and speeding.

     Jason Creckarell of N. Poplar was arrested by Special Agent Thomas Tharpe on Friday and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Amber Doede of Sweetwater TN was charged with violation of probation.

     Jefferson Freeman of Patterson St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Isreal Patton of Wynn St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and held without bond.

     Dennis Mewes of Bradford TN was held with out bond and charged with evading arrest and domestic assault.

     Charles Dunlap of McClain St. was arrested for domestic assault on Sunday

     Spencetl Moultrie of Knoxville was arrested on Guthrie Rd. and charged with reckless endangerment, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI.  Arrested with him early Sunday morning was John Childers of Puryear who was charged with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

          Jody Todd was charged with violation of probation out of general sessions court.

          Julian Holiday of Cedar Grove TN was arrested a t the Super 8 Motel over the weekend where he was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun with intent to go armed.

     On Saturday David McSwain of Mansfield was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Leonardo Nance of Bruceton was arrested Saturday and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Nathan Young II was arrested on Brewer St. for public intoxication.

     Clinton Smith of McKenzie was charged with public intoxication.

     Levi Worley of KY was arrested on Brewer St. and charged wit simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Eric Burnett of N. Market St. was arrested on Brewer St. for underage consumption.

     Oscar Hernardez of Murray was arrested by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for driving without a driver’s license.

     Derrell Ward of Williams St. was charged on a warrant for vandalism.

     A semi tractor-trailer overturned on Hwy 69N and was reported to be on fire Monday morning.

     A burglary on Rowe School Rd. was reported over the weekend.  Taken was$200 in cash, 2 wedding rings and a diamond cluster ring valued at $2,000.

     Break ins from Springville to Henry were reported over the weekend.  The main items reported stolen from each were prescription dugs.

         

Arrests   3/18/06

     Chris Pack of Caldwell St. was charged with violation of probation in General Sessions Court.

     Timothy Darda of Cottage Grove and Tony Capps, also of Cottage Grove were charged at the jail with burglary and theft under $500.

     Larry Bell of Big Sandy was arrested at the Benton County line and charged with violation of probation.

     Michael Williams was charged in court with violation of probation.

     Cecil Anderson of McKenzie was charged in court with theft over $1,000.

     Dewayne Campbell of Mansfield was charged with violation of probation.

A break-in at a Springville residence was reported to the Henry County Sheriff’s office.  Entry was made through an unlocked door and taken were several bottles of medicines.

     2 handguns were found missing from a Buchanan residence.  The guns were valued at $300 each.

A mountain bike, valued at $70 was found missing from the front of the old Puryear School.  A search of the neighborhood did not locate the missing bike.

     $2,000 worth of camping equipment was reported taken from a barn in the Puryear area.

 

Arrests   3/17/06

     Teresa Gehle of Springville was arrested at the probation office and charged with failure to appear.

 Michael Williams of Nashville was arrested on Gwen St and charged with sale of a scheduled 2 drug. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

     The Tennessee Highway Patrol was called to the scene of an accident on Hwy 119.  The vehicle hit a tree and was on its side when the THP arrived.  An ambulance was called to the scene. 

     A vehicle accident was reported on 69A Wednesday evening.  The southbound vehicle went off the roadway onto the shoulder and off the roadway in a curve, rolling over several times.  The driver, from Dyersburg stated that he lost control, when he reached for his cell phone. 

 

Arrests   3/16/06

     Jennifer Minyard of Hwy 77 was charged in court with sale of a scheduled 2 drug.    

     Donna Lockhart of Memorial Dr was charged in court on Tuesday with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, and promotion and manufacture of meth.  The 2 warrants against her were out of Montgomery Co.

     Aron Brisendine of Market St. was charged in court with possession of legend drugs.

     Derrick McGehee of Willow Oaks Rd. was charged by Special Agent Thomas Tharpe of the drug task force with sale of crack cocaine.

     Adam Evans of Cornerstone Dr. was charged with failure to appear.

     Ned Harper of Old McKenzie Hwy was arrested at the Econo Lodge parking lot and charged with sale of meth. by Special Agent Thomas Tharpe.

     Billie Bates of Cottage Grove was arrested on charges of arson on Tuesday.

     David Johnson of E. Washington St. was charged in court with violation of probation.

     Anthony Sparks of Casey Ln. was arrested on N. Market St. by Patrolman Myrick and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of scheduled 2 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 4 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, driving on a suspended driver’s license, simple possession of a scheduled 3 drug.  Also arrested by Myrick late Tuesday night with Sparks on N Market St. was Dorwell Hibreath of Travis St. for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 3 drug.  

     Stacy Teague of E. Wood St. was charged with violation of probation.

     Wendy Ramsey of Big Sandy was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license and violation of the light law.

     Darren McClellan of Henry was charged in general sessions court with violation of probation.

 

Arrests   3/15/06

     Markia Patton of N. Porter St. was charged with attempt to introduce contraband into a penal institution and possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  The arrest occurred when Patton was being transferred from the holding room at the courthouse back to the jail.  He attempted to swallow a small bag of marijuana.  It was recovered from his mouth by law officers after several requests for him to spit it out.

     Matthew Lindeman of N. Market St. and Brandon Miles, 18, of Henry were arrested early Tuesday morning near Suzuki of Paris by Paris Patrolman Myrick.  Lindeman was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug, possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Miles was charged with underage consumption, possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

    Jennifer Minyard of Hwy 77 was arrested on Brewer St. and charged with promotion of meth, possession of a scheduled 4 drug, possession of a scheduled 6 drug and driving on an expired driver’s license.

     David Johnson of Washington St. was arrested for criminal trespassing and burglary.

     Roger Robinson of Cook St. was arrested on Memorial Dr. and held without bond for criminal impersonation, violation of probation out of circuit court and possession of drug paraphernalia.    Also arrested with Robinson was      Johnny Pierce of Hwy 641N who was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.      

     Bryan Coleman of Fairground Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Sheana Perkins of Harrison Meadows was arrested by A&B Auto for possession of a scheduled 6 drug, criminal trespassing, accessory after the fact and filing a false police report.

    Rick Henderson of Reynoldsburg Rd was held without bond for violation of sentence.

     On March 13 Henry County Sheriff’s Office CID, Paris Police Department CID and the Federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms executed a search warrant and observed 40 year old William Brian Carter leaving the residence at 2447 Hwy 114 in Mansfield.  Just after leaving the residence a traffic stop was conducted on Carter and 19-year-old Hope Ferguson of Big Sandy.    Scheduled I drug‘Ecstacy”, scheduled 4 drug Xanax, marijuana, and paraphernalia were found on them and in the vehicle.  A search of the residence found Methamphetamine, digital scales and approx. $8,500.00 in cash believed to be drug proceeds.  Carter is charged with a Federal Violation of Probation and is in the custody of U. S. Marshals and will be charged at a later date with possession of scheduled 1 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Ferguson was charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia and is under a $10,000 bond.

 

Arrests   3/14/06

     Antonio  Manzi of Depot St. was arrested at El Vaquero for underage consumption.

     Dale Madhuesudani of Fulton TN was arrested in Henry for driving on a suspended deriver’s license.

     Carlos Donjauan Ventura of McKenzie was arrested in Henry for driving without a driver’s license. 

     William Ashley Jr. of Morton St. was arrested on Brewer St for public intoxication.

     Muguel Lugardo of McKenzie was arrested at the Spider’s Webb in Puryear for public intoxication.

     Jesse Robinson of Hill Rd was arrested on Dunlap for public intoxication.

     Jeffery Chandler of Dyersburg was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

    Roberta Victorind of Super 8 Hotel was arrested at the Super 8 and charged with theft over $1,000.

     Julio Mueniz of E Wood St. was charged with public intoxication at Scott Mart on Sunday.

     Ray Taylor of Hwy 54 was charged with domestic assault.

     Brian Stutzman of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Justin Jones of Clarksville was charged with failure to appear.

     Thomas Johnson of Rowe School Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

          Charles Perry of Atwood was arrested in Henry for possession of a scheduled 6 drug on Saturday.

     Marti Beasley of Ogburn St. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Christopher Triplett of Concord KY was charged with domestic assault.

     Nicholas Bradley of Cottage Grove was arrested at Huddle House and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and introduction of contraband.

     Bradley Scott of Buchanan was arrested at the Little Eagle Campground and charged with failure to appear.     Jennifer Evans of Harrison St. was charged with failure to appear.

     Monica Wilson of Kenton TN was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Theft of a truck was reported.  It was later found in a field on  Reynoldsburg Rd.

     A driver faces charges in Tennessee and KY.    The chase started at the Spider Webb in Puryear.  He was reported to be speeding,  doing over 100 mph on 641 headed toward Murray.  Both TN and KY officers were in pursuit when he crashed the vehicle and was taken to a KY hospital reportedly with a broken leg. 

 

Arrests   3/11/06

     Monica Wilson of Kenton TN was held without bond on charges of failure to appear.

     JoAnn Speer of Rison St. was charged with theft of property.

     Rodger Polack of Hornlake Miss. was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court and 20 counts of forgery.

     Scott Wimberley of Powell St. was arrested in McDonald’s parking lot and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Terrell Cowan of Wynn St. was arrested at Cherokee Plains and charged with theft.

     Brian Leach of Henry was arrested at Henry Town Hall by Jim Sanders and charged with theft of property.

     Sheriff’s deputies were called to help with a disorderly person in McKenzie.  According to officers Starla Stewart was intoxicated.  When she was handcuffed and put into the patrol car she kept hitting her head against the glass and would not stop.  When she was put into the deputy’s unit she continued to bang her head against the glass window and to kick.  She was sprayed with a chemical spray and was transported to the Henry County Jail were she was charged with disorderly conduct.

 

Arrests   3/10/06

     On Thursday, March 9, 2006 Ken Steele of Franklin Dr was arrested on Steele Rd on 2 warrants, one out of Montgomery County for promoting Meth manufacturing and one warrant for violation of probation out of Henry County Circuit Court.  While making the arrest deputies also discovered some products for manufacturing methamphetamine, paraphernalia, 2 tanks of anhydrous ammonia and a container, which contained marijuana.  Also arrested at the scene was Gary Coleman of Fairground Rd.  Both were also charged with promoting Meth manufacturing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a scheduled 6 drug.    Both are being held without bond.  A HazMat team was called in to remove chemicals from the scene.

     Other arrests included Dan Brazelton Jr. of Anderson Dr. for driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Lenora Powers of Travis Loop was charged in Circuit Court with violation of probation.

     Gina Merrell of Powell St. was charged in court with violation of probation.

     Robyn Thompson of N Market St was charged with theft of property.    

     Rebecca McSwain of N Wilson was charged with theft of property under $500.

     A vehicle was reported vandalized while parked at the High school.  2 nails were found in the tires and the truck had scratches and a marker was used to draw on the vehicle.

     A student at the Alternative school was cited into juvenile court when marijuana. was found in his coat.

 

Arrests   3/9/06

     It was a calm Wednesday in Henry County with no reported arrests.

     The 2 white males that robbed Grandma’s are still at large.

     A 38 cal. Smith and Wesson handgun was reported stolen from a Springville residence.  There was no sign of a forced entry and other guns in the home were not disturbed.

 

Arrests   3/8/06

     Mary Duelrell of Carl Chandler Rd. was arrested for DUI and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Randie Payne of Big Sandy was charged with DUI, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of the implied consent law.  The arrest occurred when officers were called to the scene of an accident on Hwy 69S.  The driver suffered minor cuts and bruises, but the vehicle smelled of marijuana and pills that the driver had no prescription for were found in the vehicle.

     A robbery at Grandma’s store on Mansfield Rd. occurred on Monday.   Two white males in their 20’s, on clean shaven with dark hair and medium build, the other red or blond hair with a mustache, entered the store.  While one held the clerk the second emptied the cash register.  It is unknown the amount of cash taken but they did make off with 12 cartons of cigarettes.  They were last seen traveling south on Mansfield Rd. in a Mid 80’s vehicle described as dull or pale silver possible an Oldsmobile or Buick.

 

Arrests   3/7/06

     Rebecca McSwain of N. Wilson was arrested for theft over $500 and driving on a revoked driver’s license.  The arrest occurred when officers were investigating the theft of lottery tickets from the Tower Sports Center in the amount of $700.  She was caught on a surveillance tape while a second employee looked on.

      Abbie Orin, Robert Morgan and Jamie Gillmore all of Ill were arrested on 641 by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall on March 5th and charged with underage possession and consumption.

     Ronald Boyd of Humboldt was charged at Matt’s Pub with public intoxication.

     Rudolf Lavenau of Springville was charged with a 2nd DUI and violation of the implied consent law on Antioch Rd.

     Jennifer Gunnells of Rutherford TN was held without bond on 2 counts of failure to appear.    

     Tiffany Howard if N Market St was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license and criminal impersonation.

      On March 4th Andrew Barrett of Cottage Grove was charged by Puryear Police Chief Paschall for public intoxication.

      Alden Fox of Henry was charged with aggravated domestic assault.

       Lavell Bond of N. Market St. was held without bond for domestic assault and failure to appear on March 3rd.

      William Deerman of Hardin KY was arrested at Wood and Fen tress for a 2nd driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Tommy Wilson of Cook St. was arrested for aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.

      Amy Henderson of Poplar St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

      Robyn Thompson of N. Market St. was charged with 3 count of violation of the check law.

      Sheriff’s Deputies received a report that dancers at Foxy Lady were topless and alcohol was on the premises.  The complainant appeared at the Adult Oriented Establishment Review Board Monday afternoon. 

 

Arrests   3/4/06

     Derek Belcher of Alamo KY was arrested on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for underage possession and consumption

     Gina Merrell of Powell St. was charged with theft over $1,000.

     Mattie Hamlin of Hornbeck TN was held without bond for violation of probation and failure to appear for a jail sentence.

     Jason Cheek of Neeley Rd. was charged with aggravated stalking.

     Gregory Foster of Erin was charged in general sessions court with violation of probation.

     Misti Townsend of Old Union Rd. was arrested for failure to appear and violation of sentence.

     Vandalism to a tractor and spreader on Hobby Rd. was reported to the Henry County Sheriff’s office.  Eggs were thrown at the windshield of the tractor and the sprayer was T.P.ed.

     A citation was issued to a resident on Old McKenzie Hwy in Henry for allowing an animal to run at large.  The dog attacked a neighbor’s dog on the neighbor’s front porch.  According to the report this was the most severe of the previous 6 attacks with blood all over the porch and flowerpots.  The owner was ordered to lock the dog in a kennel. 

 

Arrests   3/3/06

     Amy McKinney of Grove Park Apt. was charged in General Sessions Court with Failure to Appear.

     Michelle Strans of Springville was charged with violation of probation.

     William Henry of Henry is being held without bond on charges of a fugitive from justice out of Illinois.    

     Jonah Wallace of Rolling Meadows Rd. was charged with public intoxication.

     Jarvis Taylor of Humboldt TN was charged with failure to appear.

     Rhonda Brackett of Dresden is held without bond for failure to appear.

     Burglary of a Rowe School Rd residence was reported to the sheriff’s office.  Entry was made through a back window.  Taken were $250 of tools and a $100 of prescription drugs.

     Grass fires were reported on Reynoldsburg Rd. and N Antioch Rd.  Both were extinguished by fire fighters.

 

Arrests     3/2/06

     Thomas Puckett of Foundry Hill Rd was held without bond for failure to appear to serve a jail sentence and violation of probation.

     Tommy Benham of Ripley TN was arrested for assault and resisting arrests.

     Christopher Triplett of New Concord KY was charged in court for failure to appear.

     Also charged in court was Kevin Taylor of Hill Rd. for violation of probation.

     Steve Hampton, 26, of Cherokee Plains Trailer Park was held without bond on charges of violation of probation and 2 counts of failure to appear.

      Robert Younger of Old Rushing Rd. was charged in court with 2 counts of assault.

      Larry Raymer III, 21, Melanie Byrd and Chris Page, all of Henry were arrested after a traffic stop made on Hwy 79.    They were charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     William Merrell of Springville was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     William Henry was charged with public intoxication, 2 counts of assault and 2 counts of evading arrest.  Henry ran into the woods where the officers lost him.  He was soon found hiding in his girlfriend’s car.  When they attempted to cuff him Henry resisted, ran behind the house and told his 2 pitt bulls to attack the officers.  He was sprayed with chemical spray, which had no affect on him.  He ran a short distance once again but was soon caught and taken into custody.

     A miniature Yorkshire Terrier, valued at $450 was taken from a residence on

Sli Brown Rd.  The owner stated that the dog could be identified by its toenails that were painted blue.    

     Mineral Wells Animal Clinic reported the intentional killing of an animal.  A pet was brought to the clinic where it died from poisoning with an unknown toxin.  The owner stated that some hot dogs, that they had not thrown out, were found in the backyard near the dog.

 

Arrests   3/1/06

     Daniel Carter of Perkins Dr. was charged with escape on Tuesday.  Carter walked away from a work detail and was arrested on Shady Grove Rd.  at around 9am Tuesday morning.  He is being held without bond.

     Johnny Singleton Jr of Puryear was charged with failure to appear to do jail time.

     Cathy Decker of Paris was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Charles Patton of Wynn St. was arrested in the alley at Harding St and charged with simple possession.

     Waymon Tharpe of Memorial Dr. was charged with failure to appear.

     Mary Morris of Hwy 641S was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Gene Miliken of Porter St. was charged with failure to appear.

     The theft of wedding rings, valued at $100 was reported.  The rings were found at a local pawnshop.

      An MP3 player and a portable DVD player, valued at $400 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the Foxy Lady parking lot.

     Drug paraphernalia was recovered from the side of the road on Hwy 69N.  Found was a discharged fire extinguisher, an empty grill propane tank converted to hold anhydrous ammonia and plastic tubing.

     Theft of items from a locker at Southland Storage was reported to the Sheriff’s office.  Taken were 200 CD’s, 2 nail guns in cases and fishing tackle.
