Arrests  6/30/07

     Jessica Winter of Hollow Rock was charged with violation of probation.

     Larry Brown of Lickert  Ln. was arrested on an attachment out of juvenile court.

     David Willis of Sharon TN w was stopped on Hwy 79S and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests  6/29/07

     Melissa Smith of McKenzie was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license,  violation of the financial responsibility law and violation of registration.

     Cheri Rogers of Thompson St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     A missing semi and refrigerated trailer were reported to the sheriff's office.  The truck belonged to Houston Tucking who said they had not heard from the driver since Tuesday.  He had not used his cell phone and had not arrived at his destination to deliver his load of sweet potatoes.

 

Arrests  6/28/07

     Verdell Pack of Powell St. was charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Porter Tharpe of Pearl St. was charged with contempt of court.

     Frank Corbett 2nd of Palestine Rd. was arrested for driving without a driver's license and seat belt violation. 

     Bobby Johnson of McKenzie was charged with failure to appear.

     Terry Scott of Caldwell St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Vandalism was reported to Friendship Baptist Church. The back side of the church had been spray painted with the words,  "The devil will live on".

 

Arrests  6/27/07

     Gina O'Neal of Camden was stopped on Tyson Ave for DUI.

     Brian Pinson  of Brewer St. was arrested on a capias for aggravated assault on an officer, evading arrest and resisting arrest.

     Sailor Simpkins of Howard St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Benito Martinez of Murray was charged with DUI and violation of the open container law.

     Michael Evans of N. Market St. was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Mareka Kendall of Collage St. was charged with contempt of court.

     Melissa Coe of Camden was arrested on Wynn St. for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Kendrick Tharpe of Vance St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver' license.

     Dei Cooper of Henry was arrested on Wynn St. and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.

     Lee Lumpkin was charged with public intoxication.

     Vernon Rowland of Lone Oak Rd. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Vandalism at the General Dollar St. on E. Wood St. was reported to Paris Police.   The bottom of the back door had been bent.

     Vandalism was also reported at Memorial Park where wooden equipment had been torn apart and the back of the restroom had been spray painted with pictures of guns.

     2 chainsaws were reported stolen from  Henry Hardwood along with an air compressor and a computer hard drive that was kept in an unlocked building.

     A break in was also reported at a Pleasant Grove Rd. residence.  Taken was a22 in TV, DVD/TV  and DVD's.

Arrests  6/26/07

     Jeremy Taylor of Memorial Dr. was arrested for public intoxication.

     John Edwards of Wynn St. was charged with failure to appear.     

     Cora Hamm of Russell St. was charged with failure to appear and Roger Hamm was also charged with failure to appear, violation of the bad check law and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Kari Reeder of Sunnyside Dr. was arrested in the parking lot of Bottoms Up and charged  with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Thomas Dunlap of Buchanan was charged with domestic assault.

     James Ellis of Porter St. was arrested for harassment.

     Travis Serafini of W. Wood St. was charged with filing a false report an driving without a driver's license.

     Joseph Joyner of Madison St. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI and possession of a scheduled 3 drug and turning over monuments.

     Laura Becker of Mandalay Rd. was charged with theft of services.

     Crystal Wofford of Reynoldsburg Rd. was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Samantha Cowan of Manley St. was charged with disorderly conduct.

     Andrea Shannon of Colony Sq. was arrested on an attachment at the Henry County Correctional facility.

     Donna Lankhart of Memorial Dr. was charged with simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Stephen Green of Springville was stopped on Reynoldsburg Rd. and charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law and driving an ATV on highway.

     On Friday Kenneth Poore of Alabama was brought back to Henry County where he has been wanted since 1992 for aggravated burglary.  He was also charged with failure to appear and violation of probation.

     Road signs along Rowe School Rd. were reported stolen over the weekend.

     A hit and run was reported on Reynoldsburg Rd.  EMS responded when a bike rider was hit and run off the road.  The driver left the scene.

Arrests  6/23/07

     William Goodman of Camden was charged Friday with unlawful possession of a weapon, evading arrest and 2 counts of aggravated assault.

     Anthony Santiago of Palestine Rd. was arrested at Burger King and charged with simple assault.

     Ryan Binkley of Dyersburg was arrested for evading arrest, driving on a suspended driver's license, DUI and tampering with evidence.

     Donald Shaddon of Whitlock Rd. was held without bond on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Andrea Srannon of Colony Square Apts. was held without bond for failure to appear.

     James Arnold of Hwy. 77 was arrested for assault.

     Dana Bennett of Trezvant was held without bond for failure to appear and violation of the check law.

     Bobby Freeman Jr. of Gum Springs Rd. was arrested on a warrant  for harassment.         

     Samuel Haines of Boat Dock Rd was stopped at Hwy. 218 and  charged with reckless driving and unlawful possession of a weapon.  The arrest occurred when officers observed Haines peeling out at the intersection of 218 and 69S, spinning his tires.  When the vehicle was stopped he gave permission for the car to be searched.  Discovered in the car was pepper spray and a small cal. handgun with a round in the chamber.  Haines had no permits for the weapons.

     A break in at Country Wood Dr. was reported to the sheriff's office. Pry marks were found on the door.  Nothing was found missing except candy and it appeared someone had gone swimming in the pool.

Arrests  6/22/07

     Trena Bechamm of Pleasant Grove Rd. was held without bond due to a mittimus for underage possession and consumption.

     Daniel Arrlington of Pine View Dr. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Tanya Wallace of Jackson Dr. was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Robert Ricky of Memorial Dr. was charged in juvenile court  and held without bond for contempt of court. 

     Ben Berryhill  of White Oak Rd. was charged with theft under $500.

     Joseph Guffy Depot St. was charged with driving without a license, violation of the helmet law and driving an unregistered vehicle.

     Theft of items such as a mattress and box springs and a canopy bed along with a leaf blower was reported from a storage unit at D&G Storage on Hwy 69S.  The lock was found missing.

     A report of mistreated and undernourished horses on Rd Top Rd. was received by the sheriff's office. 

     A hand gun was reported stolen from a residence on Hartsfield  Rd.

Arrests  6/21/07

     Christy Henry of Bode St. was held without bond for violation of sentence.

     Terry Sommerville of Porter St. was arrested and held without bond on an attachment for failure to appear to serve sentence.

     Lauren  Thomasson of Morton St. was charged with DUI on Fairground Rd. after she was observed crossing the center line several times.

     Sara Wales of 79S and Brandon Medcalf  of Hwy 79S were arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect,  simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The arrest occurred when  a neighbor reported loud screaming.  When officers arrived they found on of the three children in a car seat in the yard.  Repeated knocking on the door did not bring and answer and when they hear children crying they mad a forced entry.  In the home they found 2 children,  a 2years old and 3 years old with Medcalf passed out, apparently drunk, on the floor.  Wales returned while officers were still on the scene. 

Arrests  6/20/07

Tracy Watson of Old Union Rd. was charged with failure to appear.

     Stephen Hilt of Lankford Rd. was charged with a 2nd driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Donna Williams of Hwy. 140E was arrested on E. Antioch Rd.  for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Jeffery Freeman of Hardy St. was charged with failure to appear.

     Keari Shoemaker of Belmont Ave.  was arrested on Washington St. for public intoxication.

     Daniel Maclead of N. Poplar St. was charged with hindering service collector and filing a false report.

Ricky Jackson of Dover was charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property.

Arrests    6/19/07

     Bobby Freeman of Gum Springs Rd. was arrested at Eagle Food and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     David Chastine of Clarksville was arrested at Eagle Creek and charged with Boating under the influence.

     Brian Neu of Mason Ln. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Hector Santiago of Murray was stopped on Hwy 641 and charged with public intoxication and underage consumption.

     Gorzalez Flores of Murray was arrested on Hwy. 741N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with public intoxication.

     Jennifer Mason of Almo KY and Jason Wynn of Murray were arrested Sunday by Sheriff Monte Belew  in Puryear.  Mason was charged with public intoxication.  Wynn was charged with a 4th DUI and violation of the helmet law.

     Chris Evans of Jackson St. and Timothy Webster of Jackson St. were charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Marvin Hayman of Thompson St. was arrested at Bottoms Up for underage consumption and criminal impersonation.

     Ronald Samplers of Jeffrey Cove was charged with failure to appear.

     Jonathan Hayes of Big Sandy was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Steve Crabtree of Brooks St. and Francis Dunaway of Hwy 641N  were arrested at a sobriety check point Saturday at Old Union Rd.  Crabtree was charged with underage consumption and Dunaway was charged with underage consumption while operating a vehicle.

     Brian Addison of Union City was charged at Buchanan Resort with BUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     On Friday Casey Hillard of Sloan Rd. and Rebecca Ward of Odem Rd. were charged with domestic assault.

     Roxanne Fisher was charged with contempt of juvenile court.

     Joshua Harris of Routon St. was charged with violation of probation and failure to appear.

     Kenneth List of Hwy 641N  was arrested at the sheriff's substation by the lake and charged on a mittimus.

     Aaron Harris of E. Wood St. was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent.

     Theft of a Bayliner inboard and trailer was reported from Buchanan.

     A Honda 4 wheeler was found missing from an open shed  on Lakeview Ln.

   

Arrests  6/15/07

     Jason Aordon of Hwy 641S was arrested on warrants for failure to appear.

     Dennis Kirby of Nobles Rd. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Holly Locke, 28, of Dresden was charged with failure to appear.

     Tamira Sheats, 41, of Echo Circle was arrested on 6 warrants as a fugitive from justice out of Ky.  5 of the warrants were for theft by deception.

     A shooting on White St. Thursday morning was ruled a suicide by officers.  Paris Police received a call from the victims girlfriend stating that she had found the victim lying in the yard by the house with a gunshot wound caused by the 30-30 rifle lying a short distance from the body.

  

Arrests  6/14/07

     Yuri Floyd of E. Washington St. was charged with violation of probation out of circuit court.

     Taurean White of Blythe St. was arrested on a warrant and held without bond for attempted 1st degree murder.

     Quinton Forrest of Union City was arrested at Knights Inn for domestic assault.

     Stephan Bell of Harrison Meadows Apt. was arrested at Washington Court for theft  of property over $500.

Arrests  6/13/07

     Dalton Patterson of Springville was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Joseph Coleman of Hwy 77 was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Several reports of break ins and thefts from vehicles were reported around the county.  Also were several reports of break ins to residence where nothing was found missing.

    2, 4-wheelers on a trailer were reported stolen from a residence on Travis Rd.

     A roll over accident was reported on Shady Grove Rd.  The driver went off the road and over compensated causing the vehicle to flip on its side.  There were no serious injuries.

Arrests  6/12/07

     Carl Durham of Buchanan was charged with theft of property under $500.

     Johnny Pierce of Reynolds St. was charged with violation of probation.

     Alice Yeager and Karen Forrest, both of Buchanan Resort Rd. were charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor Sunday.

     Clinton Manns of Rich Rd. and Christina Wall, 22, of Walton Circle were arrested on Walton Circle. .  Manns was charged with public intoxication and Wall was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. 

     Kellee Knight of Murray of was stopped on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with public intoxication.

     Nicholas Blaylock of Nobles Rd. was arrested at the roadside park and charged with aggravated statutory rape. 

     Eric Shelton of Erin was arrested at Paris Landing State Park on Ky. Lake by Clay Riley for boating under the influence and violation of the light law.  When he was stopped it was after sunset and he had no running lights on and he failed 4 sobriety tests.  

     Stacey Connes of Springhill Creek Rd. was held without bond and  charged with aggravated criminal trespassing.

     Richard Smith of Springville was charged with public intoxication.

     John Hale of Alamo KY was arrested on W. Wood St. and charged with criminal impersonation and violation of the bumper law.

     Gregory Olive of Dunlap St. was held without bond for aggravated domestic assault.

     Christopher Schramm of McKenzie was charged with violation of probation.

     Alesha Tharpe of College St. was held without bond for a capias.     

     Ray Ryan Jr. of Wesley Pines Apts. was arrested in court square by Sheriff Belew for public intoxication.

     Gary Beecham of Henry was charged with harassment. 

     Jason Taylor of Elm St. was charged with violation of probation and on an attachment for contempt of court.

     Herbert Pillow of W. Wood St. was charged with theft under $500 and violation of sentence out of Benton Co.   

Arrests  6/9/07

     Tyrone  Williams of Murray was stopped on Blythe St. and charged with driving without a driver's license, criminal impersonation and as a fugitive from justice.

     John Patton of Indiana was stopped on Hwy 641S and charged with public intoxication.

     Guy Hammond of Timberlake Rd. was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Felicia May of Hwy 79N was  arrested at Wal-Mart for theft of property and possession of legend drug.

     Tim Fuller of McKenzie was charged with assault.

     Aaron Tharpe of Reynoldsburg Rd. was arrested on warrants for introduction of a controlled substance into a penal institution.

     Jesse O'Daniel of Edwards St. and Allen Turner of Reynolds  St. were arrested on N. Market St.  Turner was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license, filing a false report and leaving the scene of an accident.  O'Daniel was charged with filing a false report.

 

Arrests  6/8/07

     On June 6 Officers of the Henry County Sheriff's office, the Paris Police Department and the Metro Crime Unit executed a search warrant at 289 Vaughn Rd. in Puryear.  Officers found 26 marijuana plants growing on the property.  Processed marijuana for resale, methamphetamine and electronic scales were also located.  Charged were residents Jerry  and Tammy Freeland with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, manufacture of marijuana, possession of meth and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.   Each were held on a $25,000 bond.   Canine Buddy of the sheriff's office also assisted in the search.     

Waynon Tharpe of Powell St. was held without bond for domestic assault and on a warrant for failure to serve sentence.

     Laren Fritts of Big Sandy was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.  Eritts was observed doing 65mph and  crossing over the center line several times.

     Daniel Martin of N. Market St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Death threats were reported to the sheriff's office.  According to the complainant an unknown male caller threatened to kill a relative.  The relative had recently come into a large cash settlement that would be paid monthly until death.

           

Arrests  6/7/07

     Dawn Kubick of Reynoldsburg Rd. was charged with theft under $500.

     Christopher Hayes, 20,  of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Hattie Davis of Manley St. was charged with vandalism.

     Patrick Dampeer of Gate 3 Rd. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Elizabeth Nordeo of Florida was arrested on a capias warrant.

     Melissa Toth of Eva TN was arrested for a 3rd driving on a revoked driver's license.     

     Helen  Green of Mansfield was arrested at a Whiskey Ridge residence for public intoxication.

     James Owen of Whiskey Ridge was arrested on Routon St. for public intoxication.

     Andrae Jordon of Bruceton was arrested on Volunteer Dr. for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Daniel Marlead of Poplar St. was charged with failure to appear.

     8 buckets of nuts and bolts used for assembling a metal building were reported stolen from a Buchanan Rd. residence.

     A boat was reported stolen from  on Ky. Lake.  The boat was found floating by the bank.  The ignition key had been broken off  in the starter and $2400 of equipment was missing. 

 

Arrests  6/6/07

     Aaron Baker, 31, of Westport TN was arrested at Cherokee Trailer Park and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia..  Officers were at the trailer park to serve a warrant when they saw a van full of people leaving a residence known for its drug activity.  Consent to search the van was given and rolling papers,  scales and a bag with marijuana residue in it were found.

     Angela Kendall of Big Sandy was charged with violation of probation.

     David Felock of Old Paris Murray Rd. was  held without bond for violation of probation and fraudulent use of credit cards.

     Darren Sturdevant of Elmore St. was arrested on warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay and violation of probation.

     Thomas Burgess of Hidden Pine Lane was charged with simple assault.

     A gun was reported missing from Anderson Dr.  The hand gun had been on a shelf in a closet.

      

Arrests  6/5/07

     Angela Kendall of Ables St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Calvon Willis of Yuma TN was arrested on Ben Smith Rd. for speeding , evading arrest and driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Mitchell Mearer of Mansfield was charged with domestic assault and underage consumption.

     Alonzo Raymer of Rbt. Scott Rd. was charged with public intoxication, possession of a prohibited weapon and violation of the bad check law.

     Thomas Ellison of Marilyn St. was held without bond for aggravated domestic assault.

     Kristi Culp of Jackson was arrested at Paris Landing Marina for DUI after she was observed staggering in the road by a park ranger and she was then observed to climb into her vehicle.

     Billy Williams of Townsend Rd. was arrested on Townsend Rd. for Joy Riding.  The vehicle was returned to the owner.

     Dennis Mewes of Springville was  arrested on Hwy 119 for driving on a revoked driver's license and violation of the open container law.

     Hope Carson of Henry was arrested at Bottoms Up for underage possession and consumption.  Also arrested at Bottoms Up over the weekend was Cherish Rodriguez of Kent Rd. for underage consumption. 

     Amanda Morris of Hwy 641N was arrested on Chickasaw St. for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Tashica Snider of Depot St. was charged with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Michael Burchfield of Clifty Rd. was arrested on the 218 By-Pass for DUI.

     Antrun  Russell of Minor St. was charged with domestic assault and vandalism.

Jammie Cummings of Cook St., David  Floyd  of Shady Grove Rd. and Jessica Munden of Vaughan Rd. were charged on Hwy 119 and Hwy 79 and charged with public intoxication.

     Joanne Grayson of Belmont Lodge Apt. was charged with theft of property under $500 and violation of probation.

     Cynthia Doyle of Springville was held without bond on a capias.  

     Cecil Holcomb of Mansfield was held without bond as a fugitive from justice.  

     Kim Stats of Sunnyside Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Ashley Hawkins of Old Paris Murray Rd. was arrested at Wal-Mart for theft under $500.   The attempted theft was of a CD player.    

     David Patterson of Jack Younger Ln was charged with aggravated assault at Bottoms Up.  Also arrested by Officer Ramos was Michael Underwood.  The arrest occurred when a fight was reported in the parking lot of the establishment.   A victim reported that Patterson had cut several people with a knife.  Patterson had blood on him and cuts on his hand.  The victim also stated that Patterson had  punched him in the face and  Michael Youngblood knocked him to the ground and then  kicked him in the face. The knife was never located.

     

Arrests  6/2/07

     Greg Olive of Dunlap St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Helena Richardson  of Rabbit Creek Rd. was charged in court with child abuse and neglect.

     Benjamin Underwood of Old McKenzie Hwy. was charged with parole violation.

Arrests  6/1/07

         Jessica Vallery, 28, of  Springville was arrested at the 4-way Grill and  held without bond for domestic assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of legend drugs.

     Yuri Floyd of E. Washington St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Kimberly Wilson of Caledonia St. was held without bond on a pick up mittimus.

     Barbara Bowden of Depot St. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license  and driving without a driver's license at West Wood Wines.

     Ken Steele of Steele Rd. was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Casey Russell of Tharpe Lane was charged with statutory rape, sexual exploitation  of a minor and solicitation of a minor.

      Larry Don Raymer, 22 and Jeremy Raymer, 18, of Henry were arrested Saturday.  Don was arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of aggravated assault.  When officers arrived at the residence they found the young men drinking and charged Jeremy with underage consumption.
