Arrests   6/30/06

     Dale Rodgers of Fairview St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Special Agent Thomas Tharpe of the Drug Task Force arrested 3 subjects on Wednesday.  Lacrhesa Freeman of Harrison St was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent.  Lorenzo Sturdivant of Wynn St. was charged with sell of cocaine.  Jessie Tharpe of Henry was arrested on Harrison St. and charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent.

 

Arrests  6/29/06

     Jason Harrison of Old McKenzie Hwy was arrested for simple assault. 

     Donna Tharpe of Cherry St. in Paris was arrested on a warrant for aggravated assault.

     Deputies responded to a call on Old Union Rd.  The mother called and stated that her 16-month baby was locked in the car.  By the time officers arrived the neighbor had busted out the windshield and freed the baby.  EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced the baby perfectly fine and had suffered no injuries.

 

Arrests   6/28/06

     Charles Patton of Wynn St. was arrested for violation of probation.

     Theft of a 1990 GMC pickup truck was reported to the Henry County Sheriff’s office.  The vehicle was taken from the front yard of a residence on Hwy 218 By-Pass where it was for sale.  The truck was later reported to have been spotted at The Tackle Box where it was involved in a gas drive off.

     A vehicle fire was reported on Ben Smith Rd.  The vehicle had been abandoned for several days.  There were no witnesses to identify who set the vehicle on fire.

     A 4-wheeler accident resulted in minor injuries on Holliday Cove Rd.  The 4-wheeler ran off the roadway and EMS transported the driver to HCMC where he was life lighted to Vanderbilt.  He was released from Vanderbilt later that day.

 

Arrests   6/27/06

     Keith McKee of Van Dyke Grove Rd. was arrested for violation of the bad check law.  The $500 check was written to the Co Op.

     Kendra Bomar of Lee St was arrested for simple assault.

     Crashunya Harsfield o f N Market St. charged with disorderly conduct Sunday.

     Ricky Huggs of Manley was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Robert Rossi of Cratti Dr. was arrested on warrants and held without bond for aggravated assault, theft of property over $500 failure to appear and 2 counts of violation of the bad check law.

     Carrie Stamraugh and Chad Slaughter of McKenzie were arrested in the Wal-Mart parking lot for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and failure to appear in Carroll Co.

     Clint Graft of Cottage Grove was arrested at Pockets for public intoxication.

     Travis Wilson of Fairview St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Michael Phillips of E. Blythe St. was arrested at the probation office for violation of probation.

Michael Owen of Watson Ln. was held without bond for domestic assault on Friday.

     Sharla Sherrod and John Belant both of Old McKenzie Hwy were arrested on Friday and charged with theft, resisting arrest and possession of legend drugs.

     Ivan Huges of Rison St. was charged with public intoxication.

     Markesia Woodreff was charged with theft of property under $500 and aggravated burglary.

     Tiffany Buell of Brown St. was arrested at Joy and Lake for driving on a suspended driver’s licenses and theft.

     Jeremy Samples of Paris was charged at ‘Bottoms Up’ parking lot with criminal trespassing along with Amy Allen of Puryear who was charged with public intoxication.

Jennifer Akins of McKenzie was arrested Sunday for DUI, possession of scheduled 2 drug and violation of the open container law.

     James Storkddale of Vaughn St. was arrested for public intoxication

     Jeral Morris of Murray was arrested for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Robert Steinbrener of Murray was arrested at Club Erotica for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Puryear patrolman Sanders charged John Schaefer of Rowe School Rd. with public intoxication at the 641 Club.

     Cody Harrison of Alamo KY was arrested by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for underage consumption on Hwy 641N.

     Germi Tharpe of Henry was held without bond for domestic assault.

          Frank and Georgia Bishop of Springville were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of scheduled 2 drug.

     Marcus McClemman of Springville was held without bond for possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

    

      Special Agent Thomas Tharpe of the drug task force made 6 arrests on Saturday that included Henry Adams of Clarksville for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and resisting stop, search and frisk.

     Bobby Mathis of McFadden St. for scheduled 2 with intent and possession of a firearm.  Lucus Hollingsworth of N. Poplar for sell of scheduled 2 and sell of marijuana.  Crystal McGill of Wilson Rd for possession of a legend drug.  Jerry McGill of Wilson Rd. for disorderly conduct.  Elizabeth Covington of Routon St. for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.  Tharpe made the arrests at 2800 79S.

      

 

Arrests   6/24/06

     Chadwick Reynolds of Jean St. was arrested on 79N and charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

     Timothy Rucketts of Memorial Dr. was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assault.

     Deandre James of Reynolds St. was charged in court and arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.

     Christopher Draper of Rison St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Imogene Tharpe of Powell St. was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Rodney Clark of 5th St. was charged with criminal impersonation.

     David Brinkley of Market St. was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespassing and theft of property under $500.

     Edward Roberts III of Springville was arrested at Henry County Medical Center Emergency Room for a 2nd DUI and driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Keith Bomar of Lee St. was charged with contempt.

     Zachary Farris of Belmont St. was charged in court with failure to appear and held without bond.

     Jerry Clark Jr. of Blakmore St. was held without bond for violation of probation and contempt.

     A burglary was reported on Macedonia.  The door had been pried open and found missing was an old coffee grinder, TV and other items.  The thief had also used the microwave oven.

     A boat motor, fishing tackle, lifejackets and gas tank were reported stolen from a boat in the yard of a residence on Hwy 140 E.  The motor was clamped down and had been sawed off of the boat that was in full view of the highway.

     $2,000 worth of hand tools were stolen from an Elkhorn Rd. residence.

 

Arrests   6/23/06

     Justin Long of Jones Bend Rd. was charged in court with domestic assault on Wednesday.

     Romel Murphy of St. Louis was arrested and held without bond  on a warrant for failure to appear.

     A burglary was reported on Ross Sawmill Rd.  The door had been kicked in and a cell phone along with an entertainment center had been taken from the residence.

     The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported an accident with minor injuries on Olive Rd.  The vehicle went off the road and into a gully.

 

Arrests   6/21/06

     Keith Stafford of Dresden was held at the Weakley Co. jail for Henry County for failure to appear.

     Thomas French and John’O Travis, both of Camden were arrested on Washington St. Monday evening.  French was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  Travis was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Johnny Pierce of Hwy 641N was charged with theft of property over $500, theft of property under $500 and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Thomas Teague of Harrison Ln. was arrested on a warrant for theft of property.

     Meredith Taconi of Springville was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Roger Robinson of Hwy 641N was arrested for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Tony Johnson of Vaughn St. was charged with failure to appear and on an attachment for contempt. 

 

Arrests   6/21/06

     Keith Stafford of Dresden was held at the Weakley Co. jail for Henry County for failure to appear.

     Thomas French and John’O Travis, both of Camden were arrested on Washington St. Monday evening.  French was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.  Travis was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests   6/20/06

       Jamie Dunn of Hazel and Jason Vaughn of Clinton KY were arrested for public intoxication Sunday on Hwy 69N.

        David Johnson of Alamo TN was arrested on Harrison St. for driving on a revoked driver’s license.

      Billy Harrell of Hazel was arrested on Irvine St. Saturday for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

      Danny Cottrell of Memorial Dr. was arrested for domestic assault.

     Shauna Hart of Hwy 641 was arrested on 5 counts of theft of property.

     Richard Melton of Rowe School Rd. was arrested for domestic assault.

      Gary Sager of Morton St. was charged with public intoxication and criminal trespassing on Brewer St. Friday night.

     Donald Cox of Springville was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Daniel Mockabee of Wynn St. was arrested for a 7th driving on a suspended driver’s license and Speeding on Hwy79N.

     Kenneth Harazok of Cottage Grove was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Rusty Blagburn of Big Sandy was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. And held without bond.

     William Lockhart Sr. of Vaughn Rd. was arrested for domestic assault.

     Patrick Thomas of Cowan St. was arrested on Dunlap for simple possession of a scheduled 6drug and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Theft of the ‘City Limits’ sign, valued at $4,000 was reported over the weekend.

     The Cash and Carry Bar on State Line Rd. reported a fight between 5 to 6 subjects and a weapon.  The fight broke up and the weapon was dropped when officers arrived on the scene.

     Theft of horse saddles, headpieces and blankets was reported from a barn on Copper Springs Rd.  The stolen items were valued at around $7,000.

     A Honda motorcycle, valued at $1,300 was reported from a front yard on Hwy 77.

     

Arrests   6/17/06

     Ronald Hart of Howells Resort was charged with failure to appear.

     Patrick Thomas of Cowan St. was arrested on Dunlap and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Shawana Malamoros and Casey Baines, both of Irvin St. were charged with filing a false report.  Baines was also arrested on a warrant for a community corrections violation and Shawana for simple possession.

     Jeremy Henderson, 27, of Jackson St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     A Ruger handgun, valued at $350 was reported stolen from a residence on Hwy 140E.  The owner stated that he kept it hidden under his mattress.

     At around 7pmThursday a small ultralite type aircraft crashed at into a field on Diggs Rd. by the Henry County Airport.  The pilot was unhurt, with only minor damage to the ultralite.  He stated that approx 30 seconds after taking off the craft quit and he landed in a cornfield.

     A 20 year old was reported missing from Eagle Nest.  He was reported to have left on a jet ski and did not return.  The TWRA and the Rescue Squad were called to the scene to search for the missing man.  The subject was found unharmed in Benton Co. in the early Friday morning.

 

Arrests   6/16/06

     Marcus Long of Dudley St. was arrested for domestic assault.

     Rhiannon Watson of Guthrie Rd. was arrested on Chickasaw and charged with public intoxication.

     Clint Lackey of N. Wilson St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Leland Pyburn of Reynoldsburg Rd. was charged with domestic violence.

     Donald Barber of Humboldt was charged with failure to appear out of Crockett Co.

     Donald Cooter Jr. of Lake St. was arrested at the probation office and held without bond on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Tony James, 43, of Guthrie Drive was charged with domestic assault, driving on a suspended driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     A 2003 Chevy pickup truck, valued at $20,000 was reported stolen from a driveway on Hwy 641 S.  When the owner awoke to return to work on a riverboat in Paducah he found the vehicle missing.  The truck was later found at 641N and Granny Ln.  The vehicle had been wrecked, rolled over and driven approx 2 miles without wheels.  The owner stated that he had left the keys in the ignition the night before.

UPDATE  ---

     According to the incident report from the Sheriff’s office the escaped convict from the Henry County Jail was leaving the courthouse annex when he through down his crutches and took off running towards Security Bank.  He was met in the back parking lot by his girlfriend.  Kevin Mayfield Jr. of Hwy 77and Rebecca Ruddeley, also of Hwy77 in Mansfield were headed to Jackson where they were going to catch a bus to Arizona.  Warrant have been issued for both.

 

Arrests   6/15/06

     Jeremy Teague, 19, of Reynoldsburg Rd and Jermond Shaw of Mandlay Rd. were arrested in the parking lot of the Trading Post for possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of a scheduled 4 drug with intent, and assault on an officer.  The arrests occurred after they were in a fight with a subject who lived  on Port Rd.  The 2 were held without bond.

     A prisoner escaped from officer at around 10:45 Wednesday morning as he was being transported from the jail to the courthouse. The prisoner, Kevin Mayfield, could possibly have had a bus ticket to Arizona in his possession.  THP was called in to help with the search.

 

Arrests   6/14/06

     Nathan Wyatt of Minor St. was charged with domestic violence.

     John Eaker of Head St. was arrested on charges of theft of property on Monday.

     According to a report filed with the Henry County Sheriff’s office an ex-employee of Beasley Antenna was going to customers of the business asking for money stating that his vehicle was broke down and he needed money to buy parts for repair.  When he was told ‘No’ by the several different customers he left without incident.

     A John Deer loader attachment, valued at $900, was reported stolen from a building on Hwy 69N.

     A 1986 Doge Ram Pickup truck, valued at $600 and not in running order, was towed from a Hill Rd residence.

 

Arrests    6/13/06

     On Monday Makecia Woodruff of Jackson St was charged with contempt of court. 

     Richard Fitzgerald of Cooper St. was held without bond for failure to appear to serve a jail sentence.

     Sunday Carol Thompson of Lone Oak Rd was arrested at Yo’s 7-11 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

     John Robins of County Home Rd. was arrested for public intoxication.

     Doondrick Allen of Mandalay Rd. was arrested on Wood St. for public intoxication.

     Tab Green of Mill Creek Rd. was arrested in Trolinger's parking lot for underage consumption and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Regina Davis of Cottage Grove was stopped for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     John Hoskins of Mansfield was arrested in Pocket’s parking lot and held without bond on charges of possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 4 drug and a warrant for failure to appear.

     Yolanda Murriel of Camden was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Douglas Ferguson of Vandyke Rd. was arrested for a 3rd DUI and violation of the light law and violation of the open container law.

     Carl Childers of Gooch Ln. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Nicholas Palnki of Henry was arrested at Bottom’s Up for possession of psylocybin mushrooms with intent and held without bond.

     Angela Tharpe of Vale Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Charles Hayman Jr. of McKenzie was arrested on Friday at Bottoms Up and charged with violation of probation.

     Ronald Webb of Sproul Heights was arrested in the parking lot of Bottoms Up and charged with possession of a scheduled 1 drug with intent.

     Joseph Eaker of Head St Was arrested on a state warrant for theft of property.

      Teresa Towater of McKenzie was stopped on Antioch Harbor Rd. for 2nd driving on a suspended drivers license and violation of the light law.

     Heather Puclwitts of Riggins St. was arrested at Pizza Express for disorderly conduct.  

     Rachel Gryzlick of Swain Dr. was arrested at the Movie Center with public intoxication on Friday evening.

     Roy Bain of W. Wood St. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Arrests    6/10/06

     Dwaine Jones of Curtis St. was charged with domestic assault.

     Steven Pack of Atkins Dr. was charged with domestic violence.

     Charles Dunlap of Rison St. was arrested Tuesday on 2 warrants issued on May 30 for assault.

     A house fire was reported on Cypress Rd.  The structure was fully engulfed when the fire fighters arrived.

     An 18-wheeler hit a telephone pole on Hwy 641 knocking down lines across the roadway.

    An accident with injuries involving a motorcycle was reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol on Antioch Rd.   The injured party was transported to McKenzie ER by private vehicle.

 

Arrests   6/9/06

     Benjamin Bradley of Hill Rd was arrested for domestic assault.  Bradley attempted to choke his fatherr as they were driving down the road.  The father refused to give him pain medicine after he did not receive any at the Emergency room.  He also jumped out of the car, climbed onto the hood and said his father had run over him.  He was hitting the windshield and threatening to kill his father when officer’s arrived on the scene.

      Akito Hutcherson of Jenkins St. and Terry Jackson of Cherry St. were arrested Wednesday by the Paris Police on charges of possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent to sell or distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The arrest occurred when officers pulled up beside the vehicle at a stop sign and smelled marijuana.  A search of the vehicle found small baggies with a leafy substance in them and $1,430 in cash.  Cell phones and scales were confiscated along with the vehicle.  A female passenger was released.

 

Arrests   6/8/06

     Alan Gateley of Hwy 641N was arrested and held without bond pending extradition hearings.   He is  charged with theft over $1,000, violation of the registration law, DUI and a fugitive from justice out of McCrackin Co. KY.

     Gateley was arrested when a call from Calloway Co. officials reported a white Ford van driving recklessly, nearly running off the road.  He was stopped at the county line and the Paris city limits.  He told deputies that he was taking pain medicine due to surgery.  A search of the vehicle found coolers full of DVD’s.  The van was a suspect in several thefts from Paducah KY.  Security tapes showed Gateley putting DVD’s into coolers and then leaving the stores.  He is also wanted in Hopkinsville and Clarksville for similar thefts.

 

Arrests   6/7/06

     Cheryl Kapler of Washington Court was arrested on a warrant for vandalism over $500.

     The Henry County Sheriff’s office received a report of criminal trespassing at a residence on Hwy 69N.  The victim told deputies that they were in the back yard when a 90’s model maroon Buick untied the gate in the driveway and drove up to the house.  The subject then got out and entered the house.  The resident ran to the front of the house, the intruder came out got into his car and drove off.  When he got to the gate he stopped to open it and remove a wig he had on.  He took off headed toward Cottage Grove.  Nothing was found missing from the residence.  The intruder was described as a tall, large and bald white male.  Neighbors stated that they had seen the vehicle in the area before.

 

Arrests  6/6/06

     Jeremy Wallace of Rolling Meadows Rd. was held without bond for failure to appear to do a jail sentence and violation of probation.

     Michael Wilson was charged with violation of probation out of general sessions court and driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Thomas Tyler of Iron Banks Rd was arrested over the weekend on a 3rd driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Peter Wernimont of Reynoldsburg Rd. was arrested on Wood St. for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and resisting arrest.

     Bobby Tharpe of Rison St. was arrested for a 2nd DUI.

     Holly Banks and Tanya Felock, both of Old Paris Murray Rd. were arrested on Washington St. and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     On Sunday Walter Mileski of Huntingdon was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Lee Lumpkin Jr. of Camden was charged with violation of an order of protection.

     David Critchlow of Henry was arrested on Replogile Rd. with a 4th DUI, a 2nd driving on a suspended driver’s license, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and violation of the open container law.

     Timothy Knapp of Union City was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Rebecca Garza of Big Sandy was arrested on Memorial Dr. for public intoxication.

     Sharla Shrrod of Old McKenzie Hwy and John Beljan of Ridge St. were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.  The couple told officers that found them parked on Carpenter Jones Rd. that they were just ‘making out’ but a search of the vehicle found the paraphernalia.

     A residential fire at a mobile home on Vandyke Rd. this weekend is under investigation.  The renter had reported receiving threats from an Ex.

     A burglary with no forced entry was discovered on Cates Rd. over the weekend.  $800 of items were found missing.

     A burglary on Edgar Cemetery Rd. was reported to the Sheriff’s office.  $7,000 worth of items were reported missing including CD’s, a camcorder, tools, chainsaw and silver dollars, and diamond rings.

       A 4-wheeler, valued at $2,000 was reported stolen from Forrest Ln.

     Theft of a lawnmower valued at $6500 was reported this weekend.  Tracks from a trailer were found by the shed at the Hwy 140E residence.

 

Arrests   6/3/06

     Items were stolen  and the house ran sacked in Cottage Grove.  All the storm windows were found broken in the residence and car parts stolen from  vehicles.  Estimated damage and theft was set at $1,500.

 

Arrests   6/2/06

     Randi Alexander of Cole Fairway Dr was charge with public intoxication.

     Just minutes before midnight Wednesday Dustin Warren of Camden and Randy Whalin of McKenzie were arrested on Tyson Ave and charged with disorderly conduct.

     James Williams of Depot St. was arrested on a warrant and held without bond for failure to appear.

     Gloria Garay of Damascus Rd. Shelter was charged with theft over $500.

     Patrick Wilson of Tanglewood Ln. was stopped on College St. for driving on a revoked driver’s license and for violation of the registration law.

     Everett Lamb, 29, of Bob White Ln. was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Randy Davis of Grove St. was charged with simple assault.

     Brian Benes of Rabbit Creek Rd. was arrested on Memorial Drive and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Theft of $3,000 in cash from a man or County Home Rd. was reported to the sheriff’s office.  The homeowner hired a worker to do foundation work and paid him for the job and never saw the worker again.

     A riding lawnmower and lawn sweeper valued at 1400 were reported stolen from an outbuilding on Henry Midway Rd.

       

 

Arrests  6/1/06

     Peggy Cate of Davidson St. was charged with harassment.

     James Robinson of Erin was arrested at Henry County Medical Center for aggravated assault.  The arrest occurred after he threatened a nurse in the emergency room.  Robinson was in the ER because he had attempted to set himself on fire.  He later overdosed at the ER when he took medications given to him by relatives with him.  He was placed on suicide watch at the jail until he can be evaluated by Carey Counseling.

     Terry Hollingsworth of Dresden was charged at Weakley Co. jail with theft of property over $1,000.

     A 1999 Yamaha 4-wheeler, valued at $6,000 was reported stolen from a shed on Copper Spring Rd.

     $200 in cash was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on Ben Smith Rd.
