Arrests 7/31/08 Charles Davis of N. Wilson St. was charged at Wal-Mart with theft of property over $500 and criminal impersonation. The arrest occurred when surveillance video at Wal-Mart caught him taking a screwdriver and breaking into a locked cash register in the automotive department and take $887. He was followed into the men's restroom by Loss Prevention Officers where he was seen counting the money. When asked his name he gave a false name and address. Jerry Motley of Alamo KY was arrested at Largo's Bar for public intoxication and possession of a handgun while under the influence. James McCartey of Springville was charged with failure to appear. Lisa Pacheco of Puryear was charged with DUI on Volunteer Dr. Alesha Tharpe of Harrison Meadows was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Walter Owen of Roberson Scott Rd. was charged with violation of probation. Jeffery Johnson of Marge Dr. was held without bond and charged with domestic assault. Paris Police responded to an aggravated assault call on Ruff St. The victim, Chua Keng could not speak English and an interpreter s was called in. The victim stated that 3 black men had attacked him in his driveway and beat him up. He was bleeding from his nose and his eye was swelling. He could not tell the height or weight of his attackers and the descriptions were vague. The incident is still under investigation. The victim was taken to HCMC by ambulance and later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Arrests 7/30/08 Cortney Washum of Chickasaw Rd. was arrested on a warrant and charged with phone harassment. r Vandalism to a bean field on Little Benton Rd. was reported to the Henry County Sheriff's office. $1,000 worth of damage was done when a truck was driven through the field. According to the victim the owner of the truck agreed to pay for the damage but did not show up to make restitution.
Arrests 7/29/08 Samuel Watson of Glisson Rd. was charged with possession of legon drugs. The arrest occurred on Hwy. 79N when officers stopped Watson for having a break light out. A search of the vehicle found the white pills in a medicine bottle with a different name. Michelle and Brian Crosno of Matthew Dr. were charged with domestic assault. Both were held without bond. Raymond Purzycki of Big Sandy was charred with possession of drug paraphernalia. David Wallace of Rabbit Creek Rd. was charged with DUI on Hwy 79N and violation of the implied consent law. Joe Brown Jr. of Big Sandy was held without bond and charged with violation of probation. Bradley Scott of McIntosh Rd. was arrested on a warrant for his 4th driving on a suspended driver's license. Tammy Burreai of Hwy 77 was charged with violating of probation out of circuit court. Terrell Cowan of Bolen St. was charged with violation of sex offender registration and monitoring act. Shauna Hart of Mansfield was held without bond for violation of probation out of circuit court. Larry Williams of Hidden Acres was charged with public intoxication on Hwy 79N. Gary Dick of McKenzie was charged with DUI on Dunlap. Israel Patton of Wynn St. was charged on Brewer St. with public intoxication. Sean Glover of Harrison Ln. was charged with public intoxication and vandalism. A car was reported stolen to the sheriff's office. The victim stated that while he had been in jail his 1996 Mitsubishi had been taken from the house where he had been living. The new renters knew nothing about the car. The vehicle was valued at $3,000. 3 diamond rings were reported stolen from a home on Red op Hill Rd. A house guest is believed to have taken them. An X Box was stolen from a residence on Old Union Rd. A 52 inch TV was reported stolen from Marge Dr. The victim stated he was moving out and when he returned for another load the TV was gone. Vandalism to a house by the old water slide park was reported over the weekend. The windows had all be broken and holes punched in the walls, nothing was taken and it is believed it was done by kids.
Arrests 7/28/08 Deleor Kennedy of McDonald St. in Puryear will be charged with possessing of marijuana with intent to sell and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.. Chief Paschall received a tip that drug activity was going on at the residence and obtained a search warrant. Inside the residence a half pound of marijuana and digital scales were found. Also found in vehicle parked by the residence were several roaches. Charged with simple possession were Carl Berry and William Scott. Arrests 7/26/08 On Monday July 21 the Henry County Sheriff's Office took a report of a dog fighting incident in the Buchanan area. After an investigation by the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, 2 adults and one juvenile have charges pending for Animal Fighting, which is a class E felony. Charges have been filed against William Andrew Tomlin III of Buchanan, James Taylor of Springville and a juvenile from Buchanan. . Arrests 7/25/08 John Davis of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with violation of probation. Theft of a 4 wheeler, valued at $4,000 was reported from a residence on Hwy 69S. A cable holding it to a tree in the front yard had been cut. A Ruger pistol was reported stolen from a Puryear residence. Reported stolen was a27 inch TV, a leather jacket. Arrests 7/24/08 Jerry Gilbert of Paris Whitlock Rd. was charged with reckless endangerment. The arrest resulted from a fight where Gilbert was accused of throwing a knife, that then stuck in a wall , at the victim. Lenora Powers of Travis Loop was charged with violation of probation. David Jackson of Rison St. was charged with aggravated assault. Arrests 7/23/08 Cory Clayton Jr. of Blakemore St. was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation. Theft of a vehicle on Cypress Rd. was reported. The owner stated that the car was parked in front of the house because it was about to be repossessed. The Loan co. said they did not have the vehicle. The 2006 Chrysler was valued at $4,000. Arrests 7/22/08
Arrests 7/19/08 On Thursday the Metro Crime Unit, the Henry County Sheriff's office and the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 2213 Lone Oak Rd. Officers located approx. a quarter pound of marijuana and digitals scales. Jeremy Lamb of Lone Oak Rd. was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Other arrests include Theresa Mathis Thomas St. and Michael Graves of Thompson St. who were charged with criminal trespassing. Bobby Abney of Crestview Manor was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Phillip Clark of Terrace Woods Motel was charged with theft of property over $500 and possession of a scheduled 4 drug. Carla Noble of Foundry Hill; Rd. was charged at Wal-Mart with theft under $500. George White of Old Paris Rd. was arrested on Hwy. 79S and charged with a 5th DUI, driving on a revoked driver's license and violation of the implied consent law. William Albritten of Puryear was charged with a 2nd DUI, speeding and violation of the implied consent law. Kent Young of Buchanan was arrested on an attachment for contempt.
Arrests 7/18/08 Lisa Shelton of Greenfield TN was arrested on Hwy 79N for DUI and violation of the implied consent law. Gary Olive of Travis Loop was arrested on a warrant for theft of property under $500. Michael Hicks of Dyersburg was arrested on a warrant and charged with vandalism. Patrick Wilson of Tanglewod Lane was held without bond and charged with domestic assault. Christopher Mabe of Cherry Lane was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license, violation of the financial responsibility law and violation of the seat belt law. Deborah Miliken of Jones Bend Rd. was charged with domestic assault. Jerry Clark Jr. of Blakemore St. was arrest for contempt out of juvenile court. Jerry Whitlow of Greenfield was stopped on Hwy 79N and charged with public intoxication. A kitchen fire was reported at a residence on Dunlap St. two bicycles were stolen from a residence on Glenhaven Rd. Several items were found piled on the parking lot of the Tennessee Tec Center. Arrests 7/17/08 Scott Stachewicz of Henry was charged on an attachment. Janice Perry of White St. was held without bond and charged with domestic assault. Derrick Vaughn of Travis Rd. was charged with 10 counts of forgery. Chris Townes of Brown St. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Deborah Andrews of Hwy 77 was charged with DUI. Kerri Shoemaker of Washington St. was charged with public intoxication. Carrie Chanworth of Vale Rd. was charged with theft under $500. Arrests 7/16/08 On Monday the Metro Crime Unit, Henry County Sheriff's office and the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 2170 Old Paris Murray Rd. Officers located approx. a half pound of marijuana, digitals scales and pills that are a generic form of methadone. $1,563.00 was seized from the Davis's believed to be drug proceeds. Officers charged John Davis and Alisha Davis , both of Old Paris Murray Rd. with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a scheduled 2 drug. Officers were assisted by Canine Kisa and her handler Officer Josh Wade . Other arrests include Hoza Hutcherson of Powell St. and charged with theft of property over $1,000. Christopher Jackson of E. Wood St. with DUI by consent. Tasila Snider of Market St. was charged with DUI. Amy Hammock of Buchanan was charged with fraudulent insurance claims. Courtney Peppers of Green Acres Dr. was charged with possession of a scheduled 1, scheduled 2 and scheduled 6 controlled substance. The arrest was made in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Henry Clary of Apartment Rd. was charged with phone harassment. Arrests 7/15/08 On Friday the Metro Crime Unit, the Henry County Sheriff's office and the Paris Police Department conducted a search at 101 Dunlap Apt. 7 where officers located a marijuana plant growing inside the apartment. They also located a small amount of processed marijuana along with smoking paraphernalia. Charged was Corey Carnley, 18, of Dunlap with manufacture of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officer Eric Long of the Paris Police Department received information that marijuana was being grown at the residence and passed the information on to the Metro Crime Unit. Long assisted in the search of the property and arrest. Other arrests over the weekend included Donna Bennett of Trezvant who was held without bond and charged on a capias for worthless checks and violation of probation. Angel Herirerio of Volunteer Dr. was charged with public intoxication. Lenora Powers of Travis Loop was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication at Wal-Mart where she was seen smoking a crack pipe and eating and drinking unpaid for merchandise. Jeremy King of Heritage TN was charged with public intoxication on Depot St. Alyssa Jackson of Hollow Rock was charged with DUI. Arthur Williams of Mansfield was charged with theft over $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia. Beraito Hutcherson of Powell St. was charged with theft of property over $1,000. Terry Overton of Springville was charged with dom3wtic assault and held without bond. Clayton Barnes of Puryear was charged with reckless driving. Roger Owens of Ben Smith Rd. was charged with aggravated sexual battery. Mary Copley of Humboldt was charged with vandalism and criminal trespassing. Donald Barnett of Yelton Court was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Daniel Carter of Lone Oak Rd. was charged with diving on a suspended driver's license.

Nina Alexander of Mandalay Rd. was charged with simple assault. John Broomfleet of Belmont St. was charged with failure to register as convicted sexual offender. Carrie Paasch of McKenzie was charged by the Metro Crime Unit with promotion of the manufacture of meth., a class D felony. Samuel Reevees of Puryear was arrested on a capais. Tonya Wallace of Tanglewood Ln. was held without bond and charged violation of probation and failure to appear. Dale Beadley of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with disorderly conduct. A metal for sale sign was stolen from a mobile home lot on Old Paris Murray Rd. A hose and 2 potted plants were reported stolen from the Heritage Center. A $300 bike was stolen from a porch on Elm St. Arrests 7/9/08 The Henry County Sheriff's Office will be conducting a n evidence burn at the Henry County Land fill on Wed. morning at 9am. Arrests 7/8/08 A resident of Puryear was robbed over the holiday weekend. Taken were 4ATVs, a lawnmower and dump bed. Est. value of items was over $5,000.00 Arrests 7/7/08 Stephanie Marie Watson was charged with DUI, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Marshall Hutcherson of S. Poplar St. was charged with public intoxication. Tristan Dunlap of Bear Creek Rd. was charged with possession of a controlled with indent. Adreanna Vegas of Hillwood Cove was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Brian Stuntman of Cottage Grove was charged with a second driving on a suspended driver's license. Over all no major accident or injuries were reported over the holiday weekend. Arrests 7/4/08 Steven Rozas of Holiday TN was charged with failure to appear. Donna Fletcher of Market St. was charged with DUI on Volunteer Dr. Odell Teague of Mockingbird Ln. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Kimberly Doke of Buchanan was charged with DUI on Hwy 79. Officers observed her crossing over the center line several times. She was stopped and failed all field sobriety test that she was asked to perform and medications were found on her person. Arrests 7/3/08 Anthony Flowers of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked drivers license. David Porifore was charged with custodial interference. Theft of items from a Rowe School Rd residence was reported. Missing was a camera, pocket watch, car title and cash. Some of the items were located at the pawn shop where the daughter and her boyfriend had sold them. Arrests 7/2/08 Terri Satterfield of Highland St. was charged with violation of probation. Benjamin Enoch of Fairground Rd. was charged with Domestic assault. Theft of veggies from a garden on Guthrie Rd. was reported to the sheriff's office. The resident stated that when he returned home he found his electric fence around the garden had been cut and several assorted vegetables had been pulled up and taken. Arrests 7/1/08 A press release from the Paris Police Department stated that the Paris PD along with the Metro Crime Unit and the Henry County Sheriff's Office arrested Rachael Young of Guthrie Rd. who was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent. A search warrant was executed and during a search of the Guthrie Rd. residence$482 in cash and 8 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $10,000, were located. Young was released on bond and will appear in court Tuesday. Officers were alerted to the drugs at the residence by an anonymous tip. Other arrests over the weekend included Raymond Kremschek of Ill was held without bond for domestic assault. Brian Kennon of Jones St. was charged with theft of property. Jessica Herron of Petti John Creek Rd. was arrested on Crutchfield Ln. was held without bond and charged with evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia 3 counts of forgery and violation of probation out of circuit court. Traci Walker of E. Wood St. was held without bond and charged with violation of probation. Bennie Corkerham of McKenzie was charged with DUI. Victoria Oliver of Puryear was arrested on Hwy 641 and charged with underage possession and consumption. Christina Dunn of Alamo KY and Megan Jenkins of Murray were arrested at Spider's and charged by Puryear Police Chief Paschall with underage possession and consumption. Michael Gallimore of Hwy 69S was held with out bond and charged with failure to appear, driving on a suspended driver's license and violation of the light law. James Butteen of Reynoldsburg Rd. was charged with domestic assault. Travis Serafini of Harrison Ln. was held without bond and charged with 2 counts of violation of probation and as a fugitive from justice. Donna Prokop of Dresden was arrested on an attachment.
