Arrests  1/30/07

     Christopher Leslie of Harrison Ln. was arrested over the weekend for domestic assault.

     Matthew Lindeman of Buchanan was stopped on Porter St. and charged with DUI and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     James Agostino of Big Sandy was arrested Saturday night and charged with DUI and driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Jason Beasley of Pleasant Ridge Rd. was  charged with domestic assault.

     Demerick Diggs of Dresden was stopped at Wood and Market St. and charged with DUI, driving without a driver's license an reckless endangerment.

     Patsy Webster of Puryear was arrested on Irvine St. for public intoxication and simple  possession of a scheduled 4 drug.

     Casey Bates of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Bruce William of Milan was charged with violation of the bad check law.

     Timothy Smith of Murray was arrested on Brewer St. Friday evening for DUI, driving on a suspended driver's license and failure to appear.

          A house fire was reported Sunday night in Henry.  No one was hurt but the resident stated his wife was inside, and when he tried to enter he was overcome by smoke. He had to bust out a window to reach  her.  It is believed that the fire started from a fire left burning in the fireplace.

     The Henry County Gun Club in Puryear reported a break in over the weekend.  A window was broken out to gain entry.  Cases of soda and a gas grill were taken.

     

     

Arrests  1/27/07

     Heidi Clayton of Harrison Ln. was charged with domestic assault

     Zachery Gomer of Oak Grove KY was charged with public intoxication.

     Jessica Kirk and Joanna Smith  both of Hickman KY were arrested by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall on Hwy 641N for underage possession and consumption.

     Tina Penick of Irvine St. was charged with domestic assault.

     Cory Poe of Hoyt Cooper Rd. was charged in court with vandalism, domestic assault and reckless endangerment.

     Harold Chaney of Buchanan was charged with theft of property under $500 and violation of the bad check law.

     Elisabeth Hedges of Camden was charged in court and held without bond for failure to appear.

           Nicholas Willyerd of Camden was arrested for violation of probation out of circuit court.

     Travis Rudd of Caledonia St. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Joanne Grayson of Gleason was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Mary Darnell of Buchanan was stopped on the 218 By-pass and charged with DUI.

     James Capps of Market St. was charged with hindering secured creditor. 

Arrest  1/26/07

     Rick Burton, 53, of Buchanan was arrested on 2 warrants for failure to appear.

     Vanessa Robins of Manley St. was arrested at Fred's Discount Drug for theft of property under $500.

     Tony Thomas of Paris was arrested on N. Market St. for theft of property under $500.

     Bruce Pinson of Ogburn St. was charged with criminal attempt to obtain a controlled substance.  Pinson was arrested on a warrant  by Paris Police Sgt. Elizondo after he attempted to use a forged prescription at Walgreens for methadone

Arrests  1/25/07

     On Tuesday officers of the Metro Crime Unit, the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Paris Police Department executed 2 search warrants on E. Washington St.  One warrant was for 538 E. Washington St. in which officers located a small amount of marijuana and scales.  Christy Lamb of Cottage Grove was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Charges are pending against other individuals.

     Another warrant was served at  535 E. Washington St. where paraphernalia was found.  Charges are pending further  investigation.

     Canine Elgos and Buddy assisted in the search.

          Other arrests include William Shaw of Jim Merrell Rd. was charged in court with violation of probation .

     Deno Robertson of Jackson St. was arrested  on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Roy Bain of W. Wood St. was held without bond on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Ricky Tynes of Sedalia KY was charged with failure to appear.

     Veronica Harris of Buchanan was charged in general sessions court with violation of probation.   

     

      

Arrests  1/24/07

     Alison Kari of Sunnyside Dr. was held without bond for failure to appear in General Sessions Court.

     Willie Russell of Brewer St. was held without bond violation of probation and failure to appear.

     Eric Olschewski  of Swayne Dr. was charged with violation of probation.

   David Sloes of Outback Dr. was charged in court with theft of services.

     Carrie Shoemaker of Belmont St. was arrested for public intoxication.

     Misty Townsend of Guthrie Rd. was held without bond and charged with failure to appear and violation of probation.

     Michael Tharpe  of Cliffty Rd was charged with introduction of a weapon into a penal institution. 

          Marvin Long of Mansfield was charged with 3 counts of forgery and 6 counts of forgery.

     A break in at the Henry County Highway Department on Cedar Street on Monday was reported to the Sheriff's office.  A dump truck was moved and used to break down a locked gate.  The keys were left in the unlocked vehicle.  Damage to the fence and truck were estimated at $5,000.

     A .22 Ruger in a holster were reported stolen from  Blythe St.  Also taken were 2 televisions that were later found in a puddle of water  out in the rain.

  A burglary on  on Old Union Rd. was reported.  Taken was a .22 rifle and scope along  with a box of shells.

 

Arrests  1/23/07

     Nathan Dennison of Vandyke Rd. was arrested on Memorial Drive  for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Arrested along with him was Abigail Newson of Springville for possession of drug paraphernalia.  A third arrest was Kari Stamats for driving on a suspended driver's license.

     James Newberry of McCampbell St for domestic assault.

     Reginald Guyton of Rison St. was held without bond for Domestic violence.

     Marty Underwood of Concord KY was held without bond for violation of probation.

     John Broomfleet of Belmont St. was arrested on Blythe St. for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Terry Duncan of W. Wood St. was arrested on College St. for evading arrest.

     Keith Jenifer Jr. of Manley St. was charged with domestic assault.

     Robert Long of Brook St. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Sherry Glass of Buchanan Rd and Timothy Dunlap St were both held without bond for domestic assault.

     Aaron Willoughby of Grove St. was arrested for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Robert Richmond of McKenzie was charged with failure to appear.

     Christopher Allen of Old McKenzie Hwy was charged with violation of parole

     Jamie Decker of Dyersburg was arrested at Club Erotica and charged with a 4th DUI, as a habitual motor vehicle offender, violation of the open container law, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. as well as violation of the implied consent law.

     Sara Wilkerson of McKenzie was arrested in the parking lot of Bottoms Up and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Adam Warren of Jackson was also arrested at Bottoms Up for underage possession.

 

          

Arrests  1/20/07

     Alvin Elkins of Hi-de-low Ln. was charged with domestic assault.

     Mikela Freeman of Allen Ave. was charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law, violation of the open container law and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug  on Tyson Ave. by Ptl. Michael Ramos.

     Nicholas Pullen of KY along with Kristopher Swift of Paducah and Jacob Warren of Bloomington Ill were arrested on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall in the parking lot of the Spider's Webb for underage possession and consumption.

     Steve Johnson of Springville was arrested on Hwy 79 and held without bond for DUI and domestic assault.

     Rosie Allford of Lone Oak Rd. was arrested on 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of property.

     Carlton Sullivan of Rigdely TN was charged in court with failure to appear.

     Jessica Vallery  Holiday Acres was charged with failure to appear.

 Elisha Hedges of Waverly was arrested at the Child Services office and charged with 3 counts of forgery.

     Jimmy Pierce of Whitlock Rd. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     John Pierce of Cottage Grove was arrested on Hwy 140 and charged as a fugitive from justice.

     Otis Selrage of Cole Fairway was arrested at Henry County High School by School Resource Officer Buford Taylor for theft under $500.

     William Beasley of Brown St. was charged with failure to appear and violation of the bad check law.

     A case of forgery was reported to the sheriff's office.  The victim reported that she had received a letter in the mail with travelers checks.  She was instructed to cash the checks and return the money, keeping 10% for herself.  She later received a phone call asking if she had done as instructed.  She said yes but she had kept 20% for herself.  The caller laughed, said he would send another installment  and hung up.  CID is investigating the incident.

 

Arrests  1/19/07

      On Wednesday  officers of the Metro Crime Unit along with Paris Police officers and officers of the Henry County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Bode 

St.  During the traffic stop Henry County Sheriff's office K-9 Vido showed a positive response to the precedence of  narcotics.  During the search of the vehicle's passenger Christopher Kinsley of 497 Cooper St. was located with 5.1 ounces of marijuana.  Kinsley was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent.  Making the arrest was Investigator Rick Watson.

     Other arrests included Susan Hollingsworth of Mansfield for violation of the bad check law.

     Toshica Snider of Depot St. was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Bradley Scott of McIntosh Rd was held with out bond for violation of probation.

     Brooke Simpleton of Hwy 641S was arrested on a mittimus for contempt.

     Thomas Moore of N. Market St. and Eric Olschewski of Swayne Dr. were arrested late Wednesday evening.  Moore was charged with public intoxication and Olschewiski  was charged with a second DUI,  simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, driving on a revoked drive's license and violation of the implied consent law.

     Jack Meholic of Puryear was arrested by Deputy Bryan Hall for public intoxication after he was obsereved by Hall to be walking down the side of 641 in an unsteady gate, putting himself in danger.

Arrests  1/18/07

     Jessica Herron of Petti John Creek Rd. was held without bond on 4 counts of forgery.

     Caroline Devine, 48, of Springville was charged with filing a false report.  The charge was made after she told law enforcement that her boyfriend had assaulted her.  The scratches were determined to be self inflicted.

     Derrell Fitzgerald of Dumas St. was arrested at Wal-Mart and charged with theft of energizer batteries.

     Robert Seward, 64, of Elkhorn Rd. was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law on Hwy 79N.

     Michael Williams of Nashville was arrested on a warrant for an attachment.

     Christopher Chandler of Buchanan was arrested on Brewer St. for public intoxication.

     Roger Cook of Cook St. was arrested in Eagles parking lot and charged with public intoxication.

     Keith Brewer of Harrison St. was charged with harassment.

     Alana Ellis of McFadden St. was charged with public intoxication.

     Theft of a mini pocket Rocket cycle and charger was reported.  The cycle and charger, valued at $200, were taken from the front porch of a Reynoldsburg Rd. residence.     

     

Arrests  1/17/07

     Alexus Fitzgerald of Mandalay Rd. was held without bond when she was arrested at Swiss Villa and charged with criminal attempt to commit 1st degree murder.

     Austin Campbell, 19, of Hwy 77 was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Germi Tharpe of N. Market St. was held without bond for aggravated assault.

     Naomi Richardson of Buchanan was charged with failure to appear.

     David Wimmer of Henry was held without bond on charges of fugitive from justice on a pick up on felony probation from Florida.

     Wimfrey Ray of Head St. was  charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Andrew Long of Camden was charged with public intoxication.

       

Arrests  1/16/07

     On Friday the Metro Crime Unit along with officers from the Paris Police Department and the Henry County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 501 Crestview Manor.  Found in the search was a half pound of marijuana.   Lindsay Ray of 501 Crestview was arrested for possession of marijuana  with intent to sell.  Charges have also been filed against Jeremy Teague for possession of marijuana with intent.  Assisting in the search was Paris PD K-9 Elgos.  

     Steven Speer of Benton KY was charged with aggravated burglary.

     Jamie McKinney of Rabbit Creek Rd. was charged with rape.

     Timothy Jenkins was arrested on 69S for driving on a suspended driver's license and violation of the light law.

     Thomas Denton of N. Poplar was charged with DUI and violation of the open container law.

     K.C. Graves of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with underage consumption.

     Joanne Gayson of E.  Grove Rd. was charged with a 2nd driving on a revoked driver's license.

     Wanda McCall of Cincinnati OH was  arrested on 641N driving on a suspended diver's license.

     Dan Reeves Jr. of McKenzie was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Terry Lackey of Wilson St. was arrested at Wal-Mart for 2 counts burglary and public intoxication.

 

Arrests  1/13/07

          James Glisson Jr. of Reynoldsburg Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     David Snider of Holiday Acres Circle was arrested on W. Wood St. for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Anthony Sparks of Casey Lane was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Rodney  Dowell of Elkhorn Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license and violation of the registration law.

     Justin Blankenship of Hwy 79S was held without bond for violation of parole.

     Helen Green of Three Bridges Rd. was charged with violation of probation.           

     Steven Speers of Benton KY was charged with aggravated burglary.  According to the Sheriff's office a call of a break in was received from a residence on Hwy 641N.  The caller stated that the male subject had broken in the front door and was in her living room.  When Deputy Mellon and Puryear Police Chief Paschall arrived Spears was still standing in the living room.  He was the person that officers had 2 reports on that evening.  He had been kicked out of the 641 Club  and later from the Spider's Webb for causing trouble.

    A report of a stolen vehicle was received.  The owner stated that the 1994 Nissan had run out of gas at Hwy 79 and 140N.  She had a friend pick  her up and left the keys in the ignition.  When she returned the next day the car was missing.

     In an update or the meth lab busts, a report from the sheriff's office stated that Herron ,who was charged with escape, had slipped out of the handcuffs and climbed through the dividing partition of the patrol car and went out the passenger door.  She then went to the patrol car where Patrum was being held and opened the door for him.  Herron was caught after a short foot pursuit and Patrum was found hiding in the woods after an hour search.

 

Arrests  1/12/07

     On Thursday officers of the Henry County Sheriff's office responded to a residence at 2465 Pleasant Hill Rd. in Mansfield to a tip received by  one of the deputies that there were several occupants there that were wanted on warrants.

      Upon arrival the deputies encountered a strong smell of ether.  The Metro Crime Unit was contacted and the residence was secured until they could arrive.  Located were 2 meth labs, one inside the residence and one inside the barn During the incident 7 people were arrested.  

     Crystal Mayo, 31, of Dale Rd. Henry was charged with initiation of meth manufacturing, 2 counts of possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of legend drug, simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Danny Evertt Lamb of Bob White Ln, in Paris was charged with initiation of meth manufacture, possession of a scheduled 6 drug and 2 counts of failure to appear.

     Jessica Miller Herron of Petti John Creek Rd. in Henry was held without bond for theft of property under $500, escape and initiation of meth manufacturing.

     James Lagacy, 30, of Pleasant Hill Rd. was charged with initiation of meth manufacturing, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

          Jeremy Freeman of Rolling Meadows Rd. in Henry was charged with initiation of meth manufacturing and simple possession of scheduled 6 drug.

     Brandi Clark of Macedonia Rd was charged with initiation of meth manufacturing and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Leslie Patrum of Hwy 641 in Puryear was charged with manufacture of meth, escape and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Also responding to the scene were  Mansfield Fire Department, EMS, Constable John Krezenski and Dan Brewer.

     Other arrests included Traci Walker of Old McKenzie Hwy who was arrested on Mineral Wells for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Justin Blankenship of 79S was held without bond for domestic assault.

 

Arrests  1/11/07

     Billy Smothers of Huntingdon was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Judith Forrest of Buchanan was charged with public intoxication.

     Aron Brisensine of Country Club Rd. was held without bond for violation of probation.

     Lovella Johnson of Washington Court was charged with violation of probation.

     Mary Taylale of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with failure to appear out of Carroll Co.

     Patsy Weber of Hwy 140W was arrested for assault on an officer.

     Cory Clayton Jr. of Blakemore St.

 was arrested for domestic assault and vandalism over $1,000.  Officers answered the domestic call and found that Clayton had destroyed the rental property, kicking in the door, breaking out all the windows from the inside, all the mirrors in the house, he destroyed the TV and pulled the phone cored out of the wall plus took a sledge hammer and busted the toilet into small pieces.  Neighbors told officers that his wife had left with the baby after he beat her in the front yard.

     The School Resource Officer reported that a student had threatened a teacher at the alternative school.

     Items were found missing from a shed on Blackberry Ln.  Items included a table saw tile saw and carpet padding.  This is the second break in reported at the residence.

  A fire was reported in a house trailer on Jackson Dr.  The fire started in the kitchen when the resident attempted to warm the trailer with the oven while she was gone.  The resident had no insurance and the trailer was a total loss.  To help you can call the Red Cross. 

Arrest  1/10/07

     Holly Syjud of Memorial Dr. was held without bond on an attachment out of General Sessions Court.

     Julie Seddon of Washington Court was arrested on 2 warrants for violation of the bad check law.

     Shannon Toole of Big Sandy was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Donna Boothe of Hobby Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Ronald Samples of Jeffery Cove was charged with failure to appear.

     Vandalism was reported at Mac's near Puryear.  3 customers, one of which was intoxicated came into the store and then went to the back door and kicked it in, breaking the glass window.

     A report of shots fired was reported to the Henry County Sheriff's office.  A subject awoke during the night and heard someone in the back yard.  There were 3 subjects in the back yard so he took a hammer and went to investigate.  When they saw the subject  they turned and fired 3 shots and ran onto Dunlap Ext.  The subjects were gone when officers arrived but a complaint made  later stated that 3 subjects were walking down Dunlap Ext. 

   

Arrests  1/9/07

     The Henry County Sheriff's office responded to a domestic call Friday night at 6:37pm at the home of Mitchell and Janice Johnson of 8535 Hwy 140E in Buchanan.  When Deputies Cpl. Eddie Forrest and William Mellon arrived, they learned that Janice had been forcibly pushed out of the house by Mitchell, who locked the door behind her.  She told officers that Mitchell was on several pain pills, including methadone and had been drinking alcohol.  Contact was made with Mitchell who refused to come to the door but could be seen going up the stairs and getting a gun which he pointed at the officers firing off one round from the rifle.  The deputies fired back and  then called for back up.  Answering the 'shots fired' called were  Puryear Police, Pairs Police, the Metro Crime Unit  and the Tennessee Highway patrol's Tactical Unit out of Nashville.  Also  responding ton the scene were EMTs who treated Janice for injuries received when she was pushed from the house.    A 6 hour stand off followed  in which officers could see Mitchell lying in the bedroom, building a wall of pillows for protection. Negotiations were attempted by  C.I.D. Director Damon Lowe and Sheriff Monte Belew for over 4 hours, at one point even contacting District Attorney General Hansel McCadams to join in the negotiations.   Johnson did finally surrender and was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and criminal attempt to commit 1st degree murder.

     Other arrests included Johnny Washum of Depot St. who was arrested at Washington Court for criminal trespassing.  

     Joe Olive of Henry was held without bond domestic assault.

     Kimberly Tragett of Royal Oak Dr. was charged with  violation of probation.

     Eugene Spencer of KY was held without bond for violation of sentence.

     Gene Milliken of  McKenzie was  charged with failure to appear.

     Christopher Vernum of McKenzie was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear along with Tonya Arrington of Chickasaw on Hwy 79S for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Elizabeth Ford of 641S was arrested on Wynn St. for driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Mike Rhodes of Hazel was arrested on Hwy 641 by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for public intoxication.

     Jason Priddy of Old McKenzie Hwy was arrested at Bottoms Up and charged with public intoxication.

     Juan Pena of Memorial Drive and Feige Nery of Locust St. were arrested at McLain's Trailer Park and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia ad public intoxication.

     Louella Johnson of Washington Court was charged with criminal responsibility for the conduct of another.

     Floyd Scott of Brewer St. was charged with failure to appear.

Anthony Williams of N. Market St. was charged with forgery.

     William Bailey of White St. was held without bond on a warrant from Wayne County for escape.

     Helena Richardson of Dover was arrested on a warrant for  theft of property under $500.

     Elizabeth Wynn and Timothy McCauley of Marilyn St. were arrested and charged with domestic assault and disorderly conduct.      

      

Arrests  1/7/07

     Kent Young of Guthrie Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Michael Tharpe of Clifty Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Michael Hardin of Camden w held without bond for failure to appear.

     Christopher Triplett of Franklin Dr. was charged with aggravated assault.

     Thomas McFadden Jr. of Henry was arrested at Henry Station and held without bond for domestic assault.

     James Arnold of Hwy 77 was arrested on N. Market for assault.

     Jeffery Townsend of Old Union Rd. was arrested by the Metro Crime Unit and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Julie Seddon of Washington Court was arrested on 2 warrants for violation of the bad check law.

     Katrina Skinner was charged with harassment.

      Julie Riggs of Buchanan was charged in General Sessions Court  and held without bond for failure to appear.

     Dexter Diggs, 18, of Bolin St. was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct  and assault.  The arrest occurred when the school bus Diggs was riding on was pulled over due to the conduct of a juvenile on the bus.  When officers arrived on the scene at Casey Lane and Old McKenzie Hwy. Diggs, after several warnings continue to interfere in the deputy's investigation and grabbed another student.

Arrests  1/05/07

     Patsy Wade Webster of Puryear was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Michael Tharpe of Clifty St. was arrested on Volunteer Drive and charged with theft of property.

     Bobbie McMarkin of Hollow Rock was charged at Eagles Food Store with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     Ovinly Martin of Paris was arrested on Market St. for aggravated criminal trespassing, aggravated assault and assault on an officer.

     Edward Ballard of Murray was arrested on Irvine St. and charged as a fugitive from justice.

     Theft of a scooter, valued at $400 was reported from Croker Rd.

     

Arrests  1/4/07

     Austin Coleman of Brewer St. was arrested on Tuesday and charged with criminal attempt to commit first degree murder.  The arrest occurred when Paris Police answered a call of gun shots fired at 502 Brewer St.  When Ptl Whitaker  arrive along with Ptl Watson and Sgt. Fry they cleared the everyone from around the house and made contact with Coleman who was inside with the firearm, a 25 cal. pistol.  Coleman was told to put down the gun and raise his arms.  When he immediately complied the officers entered the house on Brewer.  Coleman told them that he had an argument over money with his nephew and when the nephew wanted to smoke marijuana in his bedroom he fired a total of 3 shots at him.  No one was injured and Coleman was taken to HCMC for a mental evaluation, released and transported to the Henry County Jail.

     Brian Long of Caledonia St. was arrested at Harrison Meadows for 2 counts of violation of probation out of circuit court, failure to appear, delivery of a scheduled 2 drug and a capias for possession of a schedule 2 drug with intent. 

     Monroe Shaw of Springville was arrested on Irvine St. for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     A break in was reported at building 18 of Dana.  3 offices had been broken into and computer cables disconnected but not taken.  A similar break in occurred last year over the holidays but at that time computers were stolen.  It is believed that an employee's access card was used to make entry.

     A burglary was reported on Jack Younger Ln. where a house trailer was broken into, a heat pump and wiring along with a hot water heater and an electric stove were taken.  

 

Arrests  1/03/07

     A road block conducted by the Henry County Sheriff's office on New Year's Eve resulted in the final drug bust for 2006.  Thanks to the help of the newest certified drug dog Buddy, 24 year old Steven Barker of Hidden Acres Trailer Park in Paris was arrested on charges of  possession with intent to sell a scheduled 2 drug and possession with intent to sell a scheduled 4 drug.  Barker was held without bond.    Also seized in the arrest were 10& 1/2 grams of Ice, 4 Xanax pills and $248.00 in cash.  The arresting officers were Lt. Stan Pinson and Sheriff Monte Belew.

     Other arrests over the holiday weekend included Tammy Smith of Gum Springs Rd was arrested on N. Brewer for public intoxication

     Linda Hayes of Hwy 641N was arrested for a 2nd DUI, violation of the implied consent law, resisting arrest and possession of a scheduled 4 drug. 

     Ravon Boone of Hwy 641S was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license, DUI, possession of a firearm while under the influence and violation of the implied consent law.

     James Williams of Depot St. was charged with violation of probation.

     On New Years Eve Thomas Stokers of Willow Oaks Dr., Christopher Sykes of Patterson St. and James Robinson of Buchanan Rd. were arrested by Deputy Bryan Hall at a Rolling Meadows Rd. residence.    Stoker and Sykes were charged with underage possession and consumption.  Robinson was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  When officers arrived at the party the subjects ran into the woods.  Of the 15 that were present only the 3 were charged.  The owner of the home stated that only 4 girls were suppose to be there and those 4 had not been drinking.

               Booker Thomas and Debbie Thomas of Jackson.  Booker was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Debbie was charged with speeding and a 3rd driving on a suspended driver's license. 

     Frances Orbegan of Porter St. was charged with violation of probation.

     Kimberly Jackson of Copper Springs Rd. was held without bond and  charged with domestic assault.  

     Kimberly Trgett of E. Washington St. was charged with public intoxication, vandalism under $500 and resisting arrest.

     William Blakemore of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license.

     Roger Cook of N. Market St. was charged with public intoxication.

     Brian Odom of N Market St. was held without bond for instigation of meth manufacturing.  The arrest occurred on Hwy 641N when Odom was clocked doing 62 in a 55mph zone.  The vehicle had a strong smell of chemicals.    A K-9 unit was called to the scene and found hidden in the vehicle's engine compartment  officers  found 3 bags of dry mixed chemicals and a container of liquid needed to manufacture meth.

     Vehicle was reported stolen from Ross Sawmill Rd. The vehicle was a 1988Toyota pick -up.

     Another vehicle was also reported stolen.  A 2006 Dodge Ram Truck, valued at $19,000 was reported stolen from Norwood Rd.  The owner reported leaving the keys in the ignition.
