Arrests  1/31/06

     Adam Dwyre of Elkhorn Rd. was charged as a fugitive from justice out of Ill and held without bond.

     Robyn Thompson of Guthrie Rd. was arrested on a warrant for violation of the check law.

     Michael Hinson of Cypress Rd. was arrested for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.  Hinson was found parked half way off the roadway on Hwy. 69S.  He was unresponsive when officers shined a spotlight into the vehicle.  When he did respond he was disoriented, did not know where he was and stated that he had run out of gas.

     Jacqueline Scribner of Curtis St. was charged with failure to appear.

     Lee Cannon of Murray was arrested by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall on Hwy 641N for public drunk early Saturday morning.  Also arrested for public drunk by Paschall was William Elliott of Murray.

 

Arrests  1/28/06

     Dalton Steele of Murray was arrested on Hwy. 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with disorderly conduct.

     Donald Joy of Elkhorn Rd. was stopped on Wood St. and charged with DUI.

     Yamou Jordon of Huntingdon was arrested by Henry Police officer Jim Sanders and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Mark Stewart of Springfield was arrested on a warrant for non-support.

     Lacy Pruitt was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license.

      A prescription theft was discovered by employees at WG. Rhea Public Library.  An altered prescription had been left in the copy machine at the library for a Nashville doctor.  All local pharmacies were contacted.  Paris Police have no leads at this time.

       2 drink machines were broken into at Little Eagle Campgrounds.  An estimated $300 in coins and bills was taken from each machine.

 

Arrests  1/27/0 6

     William Hawes Jr. of Boyce St. was charged at the jail with theft of property and violation of the check law by Wal-Mart.

     Gary Collins of Cypress Rd. was charged at the jail with aggravated burglary and theft of property over $1,000.

     Kieth Stafford of Dresden was charged at the jail with failure to appear out of General Sessions court.

     Kimberly Chrisp, 35, of Paris was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license and violation of the check law.

     Suzanne Axley of Hidden Acres was charged with violation of probation.

 

Arrests    1/26/06

     The Henry County Criminal Investigation Division has released more information on the home invasion that occurred January 24th on Elkhorn Nobles Rd.

     According to the Sheriff’s office deputies responded to the home in the early morning hours on Tuesday.  2 intruders had entered the home through a back door and seemed to be looking for one person at  the residrence.  The intruders wore masks and were armed with a shotgun and a handgun.

     31-year-old Bobby Ward of Paris was injured in the incident when the intruders struck him with their weapons and other objects in the house.  Approx. $200 was taken from Ward before they left the residence.  There were 3 others in the house at the time but no one else was approached or harmed.  According to the CID it appears to be an isolated incident with a targeted person.

      Arrested on Tuesday was Krysten Burns of Indiana.  She was stopped by deputies traveling south in the northbound lane of 79S.  She was charged with driving without a driver’s license.

     A skill saw was reported stolen from a customer’s vehicle at Hill Top Auto on 641N.  The vehicle was not locked.   

    

Arrests  1/25/06

     The Criminal Investigations Division of the Henry County Sheriff’s office has arrested 2 individual, which have been involved in break-ins and burglaries at businesses and buildings in Paris, Henry County, as well as in KY.

     William Hawes Jr. and Jimmy Harrison, both of Boyce St. are currently in custody facing 30 counts of theft and burglary charges.  According to CID investigators 75% to 90% of the stolen items have been recovered.

  Hawes is charged with Burglary, Theft of property over $500 and 3 counts of burglary.  Harrison is charged with burglary, theft over $10,000 and theft over $500.

     Jeremy Henderson of Wynn St. was arrested on a state warrant for failure to appear.

     Patsy Webster of Puryear was held without bond on charges of failure to appear to serve a jail sentence.

     Ryan Buie of Mansfield was arrested on Industrial Rd. for driving on a suspended driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a scheduled 6 drug, and possession of a scheduled 2 drug and violation of probation.

      Jessica Salman of Mayfield KY was charged with violation of probation.

     Joseph Huff of Curtis St. was charged with domestic assault.

     On Monday Maria Perry and Linus Perry both of Lankford Rd. were arrested by Paris Police officer Bill Bussey for domestic assault.

     JJ Evans of the 218 By-Pass was charged with vandalism over $500.

     Mark Leblanc of Paris was charged with 2 counts of forgery.

     Blazie Sypin Jr. of Osage Crossland Rd. was arrested at West Wood Wine by Agent Thomas Tharpe and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug.

     The Sheriff’s office received a call of a home invasion and assault on Elkhorn Nobles Rd.  The victim stated that the 2 suspects forcibly entered the residence, struck the victim repeatedly with a gun numerous times and stole $200 in cash.  The victim was transported to the emergency room with lacerations to the head and face.  The incident is under investigation by the CID.

     Also under investigation by the CID is a suspicious house fire in Buchanan.  2 people were injured in the fire.

 

Arrests  1/24/06

     Maria Patton of N. Porter St was arrested on Market St. and held without bond for possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, possession of a scheduled 6 drug, aggravated assault and failure to appear.

     Richard Gee of Scott Ln. was charged Sunday with 17 counts of forgery.

     Brandon Gream of Blythe St. was held without bond for failure to appear.

     Jessica Herron of Petti John Creek Rd. was arrested on Highland St. for possession of drug paraphernalia along with Mark Flanagan who was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     On Friday Kimberly Doke of Buchanan was arrested for failure to appear and on 6 counts of violation of the bad check law.

     Gerald Jackson of Buchanan was arrested on a warrant for forgery.

     Jared Lucas of Murray was arrested on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall for under age possession and consumption of alcohol.

     Gerry Sharp of Palestine Rd. was charged with 24 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

     Emmitt Jones of Reynolds St. was charged with failure to appear.

     Larry Stewart of Blythe St. was arrested for burglary and theft over $1,000.

     Charles Lawrence of Lone Oak Rd. was stopped for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Rodney Dowell of KY was charged with public intoxication.

     Over the weekend Jerry Mobley of Elkhorn Rd. was charged as a habitual motor vehicle offender, a 2nd DUI, violation of the implied consent law, and violation of the open container law.

     Larry Morris of Paris was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Lonzie Dunlap of Powell St. was arrested on Brewer St. for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Sharon Davis of Brown St. was charged with domestic assault.

         Mackenzie Jones of Murray was charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault Saturday night.

     Dangelo Patten of Irvine St. was arrested for simple possession and criminal trespassing.

     Karriem Mathews, 38, of Maple St. was arrested for domestic assault.

     Jerry Woods of KY was arrested on 641 for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

   Jason Mills of Camden was charged with domestic assault and underage consumption of alcohol.

     John Vaughn of Camden was arrested at Matt’s Pub for public intoxication.

         Donald Taylor of McKenzie was arrested on 79 in Henry for public intoxication.

     Also arrested on 79 in Henry was Jennifer Taylor of Huntingdon for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Alonos Aqular of Martin was arrested at 79 and Pioneer and charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license.

          Jonathan Peach of Springville was arrested Saturday for a felony evading arrest possession with intent of a scheduled 2 drug, possession with intent of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of a firearm with intent to do bodily harm.

 

Arrests  1/21/06

         Kimberly Johnson of Highland St. was charged in General Sessions Court with failure to appear

     Bryan Clayton of Lincoln St. was charged at the Henry County Jail with another count of forgery.  He was arrested January 19 on 36 counts of forgery.

     A 16-foot flat bed trailer, valued at $2,550, was reported stolen from Antioch Cove Rd.

 

Arrests  1/20/06

     Robert Bilodeau, who listed his address as c/o Henry County Jail, was charged at the Henry County Correctional Facility and held without bond on 3 counts of assault on a police officer.

     Lacey Carie of Memorial Dr.  was arrested on warrants for failure to appear and violation of probation and held without bond.

     Michael Capps of Jackson Dr. was arrested driving on a revoked driver’s license and held without bond.  He was also charged on outstanding warrants for disorderly conduct and driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Bryan Clayton of Lincoln St. was charged with 36 counts of forgery.

 

Arrests  1/19/06

     Brian Clayton of N. Market was arrested for aggravated assault.    Clayton was intoxicated when Paris Police arrived on the scene.  According to the victim, Clayton’s roommate, the 2 had a fight and Clayton came at him with a garden hoe threatening to kill him.  At the time of the arrest Clayton was in possession of a pick with a broken handle.

     Larry Thomas of W Wood St was arrested at Terrace Woods Motel along with Adam Evans.  Evans was arrested and held without bond on warrants for failure to appear and violation of probation.  Thomas was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     William Shaw of Cottage Grove was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.  Shaw was traveling north on Wood St., doing 55mph in a 40mph zone.  He would hot stop his 18-wheeler until he pulled into Recycle Dr.  A check of his license showed that he had outstanding warrants in Carroll and Weakley Counties.

    Identity theft was reported at Wal-Mart.  The white female had forged a check and changed the information and number of the check written on a Camden bank account.

     Snowy weather was to blame for a minor accident with a school bus and a semi at 6:44 Tuesday morning on Hwy 54 at Gate 3 Road.  School had been delayed for an hour and there were no children on the bus and no injuries reported.  According to the Henry County Sheriff’s office the snow caused only a few ‘slide offs’ before melting away.

 

Arrests  1/18/06

     The Henry County Sheriff’s office received a report of a stolen logging truck.  The truck had been parked at the logging site on Bailey Rd.  It was later found parked on Old Union Loop with the keys in the ignition.

     A theft was reported from Old Paris Murray Rd.  A diamond ring valued at $2,000, other jewelry valued at $10,000 and a collection of coins in a case were also reported taken.

 

Arrests  1/17/06

     James Himes of Gleason TN was arrested on Hwy 140 by Trooper Belew for a 3rd DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Ross Mortensen of Dunlap St. was arrested on Guthrie Rd. for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug.

     Douglas Harris of Murray and Phillip Lopez also of Murray were arrested on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall and charged with public intoxication.

     Joshua Barnes of Benton KY was arrested for a 3rd DUI.

     On Saturday Deborah Pillow of Whitlock Rd. was charged with failure to appear.

     Robert Tharpe of Powell St was arrested for aggravated burglary and aggravated kidnapping and held with out bond.

     Michael Williamson of Coast Guard Rd. was arrested at the Huddle House for underage consumption.

     Christian Naja of Florida was arrested at the Huddle House and charged with underage possession and consumption.

     Norman Clouser of Springville was charged with assault on an officer.

     Jennifer Payne of Greenfield was held without bond for failure to appear.

    Jonathan Fisher of Chickasaw was arrested for criminal trespassing.

     Justin Norwood of Oliver St. was arrested for underage consumption and violation of an order of protection.

     Robb Hall of India Rd. was charged with motor vehicle theft, reckless endangerment, driving on a revoked driver’s license and a 2nd DUI.

     Andre Easley of Dunlap St. was charged with violation of probation and failure to appear.

     Brian Whitfield of Old Paris Murray Rd. was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Stacy Simmons was arrested at Scott Mart and held without bond on charges of possession of a scheduled 2 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and 2 counts of theft of property.    

 Theft of items from a Stewart Rd. residence were later recovered at the pot-o-gold pawnshop.

   Theft of a boat motor was reported from a boat parked in the yard of an Edgar Cemetery Rd. residence.

     The theft of a 1996 Toyota valued at $1,000 was reported from a residence on the 218 By-Pass.  The residents did not hear anything and stated the vehicle was locked.

 

Arrests  1/14/06

     Gary Collins of Buchanan was arrested on Cypress Rd. and charged with theft of property and aggravated burglary.

     Bryan Clayton of N. Market was charged with burglary, theft of property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Kevin Mayfield of Mansfield was arrested on Market St. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of property under $500. 

     David Brinkley of Market St. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Kevin Mayfield Jr. of Mansfield was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Andrew Brant was arrested at the parole office and charged with violation of sentence.

     David Lovett Jr. of Hickory Dr. was charged with violation of sentence.

     Gregory Turner of Mason Ln. was charged as a fugitive from justice.

     Kevin Stafford of Dresden was arrested for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Heath Acree was arrested on Maple and Atlantic and charged with assault, possession with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     William Gant of Henry was charged with assault, possession with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Joann Speer of Henry was arrested on a warrant for shoplifting.

     Derrick Starnes of Scott Erans Dr. was possession of drug paraphernalia.

     A heating/ air conditioning unit, valued at $1,500 was stolen from a residence on Paris Murray Rd.

     Theft of a 1984Pontiac station wagon valued at $1,000 from Elkhorn Rd.  was reported to the sheriff’s office.  The victim stated that it possibly was stolen by an employee who jumped bond.

    

Arrests  1/13/06

     Rebecca Ruddell of N. Market St. was held without bond for contempt of court.

     Christy Lamb of Cottage Grove was arrested on an attachment.

     Justin Russell was arrested in Juvenile Court on a mittimus.

     Timothy VanDyke of Park Village Apt. was arrested in Juvenile Court on a mitimus.

     Billy Kendley of Dumas St. was charged as a fugitive from justice out of KY.

     Daniel Orr of Lone Oak Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Jessica Donnawell of Brewer St. was arrested for violation of the bad check law.

     A burglary was reported on Main St. in Puryear.  There was evidence of forced entry through the front door but the only thing found missing was a jar containing $70 in change.  

 

Arrests  1/12/06

     John Baker was arrested on warrants for failure to appear.

     Cynthia Morris of Clifty St. was charged with public intoxication and driving on a suspended driver’s license.  The arrest occurred when the sheriff’s office received a report of a wreck on Alman Cemetery Rd.  The vehicle was off the roadway and stuck in the mud.  She was found in the back seat of the vehicle with several empty liquor bottles.

     Como Grain Co. reported a break in.  $50 in change was taken.  During the break in a window was broken and the time clock was knocked off the wall and damaged.

 

Arrests  1/11/06

     Jessie Palanki of Vaughn Rd. was held without bond for domestic violence.

     Michael Palk of McEwin TN was arrested on warrants for promotion of the manufacture of meth, possession of meth with intent to sell and manufacture of meth.  Bond was set at $100,000. 

     Blane Warfle and Kenneth Warfle, both of Old Paris Murray Rd. were held without bond for domestic assault at around 6pm  Monday.

     Steven Porter of Henry was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Darleen Johnson of Henry was arrested on failure to appear charges for bad checks.

          Theft of cash, credit cards and checkbook was reported from Vaughn Rd.  The theft was solved by Paris Police when they later arrested Jessie Palanki.

 

Arrests  1/10/06

          Shannon Stracener Brown of Springville was held without bond for failure to appear to do a jail sentence.

     David Oakley of Locust St. was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Christopher Kolath of Jackson was arrested on an attachment.

     Jessica Herron of Petty John Creek Rd. was arrested on warrants for violation of probation.

     Brandon Gream of Blythe St was arrested on Highland St.  for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  In his possession were found hypodermic needles. 

     Also arrested on Highland St. was Michelle Starnes of Springville by Drug Task Force Agent Thomas Tharpe for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Eron Kinley, 34, of Paris was charged with introducing a controlled substance into a penal institution.  Kinley is already serving a sentence at the jail.

     Jessica Donnawell of Brewer St. was arrested on 4 warrants for violation of the check law.

Baimon Sala of Camden was charged with violation of registration and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Joseph Kleppe of Henry was driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Arin Gates of Paris was charged with domestic assault.

     Israel Patton of Wynn St was charged with violation of probation.

     Richard Hudson of Paris was charged with 2 counts of possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of a scheduled 4 drug.

     David Dycus of Paris was arrested for driving on a revoked driver’s license.

     Larry Todd of Wynn St. was charged with a 3rd DUI.

     Jacob Austin of Indian Mound was arrested at Club Erotica over the weekend and charged with public intoxication. 

         Mandy Munex, 27, of Paducah was arrested by Puryear Police Chief Paschall and charged with reckless endangerment and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Paul Wallace of Paris was arrested for assault.

    Saturday Frankie Dusenborg of MO was arrested at Club Erotica for possession of a firearm where alcohol is served ad possession of a deadly weapon.

     Sunday Kennon Kendall of Paris was arrested for violation of probation.

     Robert Graham of Paris was arrested at Wal-Mart for shoplifting.

     James Williams of Depot St. was arrested at the Paris Food Mart for public indecency.

      Marcus Jones of Somerville TN was charged with an 8th driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Amber Jacobs of Paris was arrested for assault on Friday.

     A dog was hot and wounded at a Buchanan residence.  The lab is currently at the vets recovering.

     Well parts valued at $1,500 were reported stolen from an Old Paris Murray Rd. residence. 

    

 

Arrests  1/7/06

     Michael Stover of Concord KY was held without bond in Calloway Co. for local authorities on charges of failure to appear and failure to appear to do a jail sentence.

     Sherry Pruitt of Paris was charged with failure to appear.

     William Brown of Rabbit Creek Rd. was charged with violation of probation.

     Danny Trotter of Paris was arrested on a 3rd driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Jefferson Freeman of Hardy St. was charged with a 3rd driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     James Henderson of County Home Rd. was arrested on E. Wood St. and charged with a 3rd DUI, violation of he implied consent law, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Jerry Mobley of Springville was   arrested on a state warrant for forgery.

     2 motorcycles were reported stolen from Kendall Rd in Buchanan, a Honda valued at $1,600 and a Suzuki valued at $600.

     A 1988 Toyota truck was reported stolen from Tyson Rd. in Henry.  The truck was valued at $5,000.

     $100 in change and an old truck were stolen from a trailer on E. Dogwood Rd.

 

Arrests  1/06/06

     On January 3rd at 8:51pm the Henry County Sheriff’s office responded to a report of a missing person at 4960 Macedonia Rd.  Upon arrival officers found that a 22-year-old mentally challenged female had been left at home by the parent for approx. 2 hours.  When the parent returned home the victim was gone.

     An extensive search of the area was conducted  by numerous members of the Henry Co. Rescue Squad and officers of the Sheriff’s Office.  An investigation determined that the victim had been taken without the parent’s consent from the residence by a former family member from Georgia and taken to that person’s residence in Blairsville Georgia.  With the cooperation of the Union Co. Ga. Sheriffs Office the victim was located on the morning of January 4th.   The victim was found uninjured and as of Thursday afternoon was being transported back to Henry Co. by family members.  The investigation is continuing with possible criminal charges being filed.

     The Sheriff’s office would like to thank the Rescue Squad and citizens for their assistance in the search.  CID.    

     Arrests for Thursday include Carol Summers of Rolling Meadows Rd for filing a false report.  The arrest was made at Patterson’s Wrecker Service.  Also arrested was Barton Grande of Rolling Meadows Rd for evading arrest.  The arrests were related to the Wednesday arrest of Brian Stutzman of Dover who was arrested on a warrant for domestic assault.  Grande was driving the truck that Stutzman jumped from.  The truck had been falsely reported stolen by Summers.

     Tools and other items valued at $130 were reported stolen from Dock Drive in Buchanan.

     Theft of gas from a van on Macedonia Rd. was reported to the sheriff’s office.  The victim refused to have is residence added to the extra patrol list and told officers that he would wait for the thief to return and fill him full of lead.  

 

Arrests  1/5/06

  Charles Renn of Henry was held without bond on charges of 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery.

     John Taylor of Lincoln St. was stopped on Wynn St. and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Cited into court for allowing animals to run at large was Alana  Ellis of Muzzel Rd.  4 separate complaints were received between Nov. 18 and Dec. 14.

     Earnest Stewart of Murray was

     Arrested on Monday Darrin Hinson was charged with evading arrest.  According to deputies Hinson was in a pick-up truck with a headlight out.  When officer’s activated their blue lights the truck did not stop.  Officers followed and observed Hinson jump from the moving vehicle on Hwy. 79.  The truck was later found abandoned on McClain Rd.  When officers caught up with Hinson he stated that he had jumped from the truck because he had outstanding warrants against him.  The truck was listed as stolen but after investigating, it was found that the driver of the truck had the permission of the owner to drive it.  Hinson was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.  The driver of the truck is still wanted for driving on a suspended driver’s license as well.

     Earnest Stewart of Murray was stopped on Hwy 641N where he was clocked on radar doing 78mph in a 45 mph zone.

 

Arrests  1/04/06

     No fatalities were reported in Henry County over the New Year’s Holiday.

     Arrests over the holiday weekend included Darrin Hinson of Dover who was arrested on January 3 for a misdemeanor evading arrest.

     Sailor Simskins of Copper St. was charged with a class D felony burglary.

     Harold Gorman III of Buchanan was charged with failure to appear.

     Clarence Robertson of Nobles Rd. was arrested on Routon St. and charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent and possession of a deadly weapon.

     Danny Trotter, 50, of Paris was also arrested on Routon St. for possession of drug paraphernalia.

     Kenneth Warfle, 53, of Guthrie Rd. was arrested at the Methodist Thrift Store for public intoxication.

     Jack Nicholson of Morton St was arrested on 8 counts of worthless checks.

          William French of Murray was held without bond for domestic assault and vandalism.

         Just before 2am January 1 Paul Lamb of Jackson Dr. was charged with a 3rd DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

     Jerry Cleary of Springville was held without bond for domestic assault.

     Leigh Hamer of Cicero Ill was held without bond for domestic assault.

     On New Years Eve, Copper Atwood of Colliersvilles was charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license.

     Sharon Brezina of Green Hills Dr. was arrested on Memorial Dr. for DUI, violation of the implied consent law, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

     Justin Long of Jones Bend Rd. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

     Forrest McClure of Palmersville was stopped on Hwy 79 New Years Eve and charged with DUI.

     Aaron Taylor of Jackson was charged with public intoxication and underage consumption.

     David Williams of Wood St. was arrested for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
