Arrests 12/30/06 Curtis Barker of Hollow Rock was stopped on Mandalay Rd. and charged by Deputy Jamie Myrick with driving without a driver's license, violation of the child restraint law and possession of a fire arm with intent to go armed. The arrest came when Barker was observed by Myrick. He was stopped and attempted to put something in the tool box of his truck as he exited the vehicle when stopped. There was no child seat for the 4 year old riding with him and the 9 mm pistol found in the tool box was loaded with a round in the chamber, a class E felony. Rachel Bullington of Holiday Acres was charged in court with violation of probation. Helen Green of Mansfield was stopped on Mandalay Rd. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A crack pipe was found in the vehicle. Kent Young of Gantley Rd. was arrested at Morningside Village and charged with aggravated burglary. Arrests 12/29/06 Tonya Hinsley of Dale St. was charged with forgery. Victoria Pancaro of Chickasaw Rd. was held without bond for aggravated assault, domestic and simple assault, domestic. David Sager of E. Wood St. was arrested for violation of probation. Angel Oakley of Girl Scout Camp Rd. was charged with theft of property over $1,000. A Honda 4-wheeler, value at $2,500, was reported stolen from a residence on Vandyke Rd. A burglary was reported by Paris Antiques. A tiller was found missing. A break in was also reported on Sycamore Dr. Pry marks were found on outside doors of the house and storage room. A hot water heater and assorted tools were taken. Entry was made through a bedroom window at an Irvine Street residence. Taken was a desk top scanner. A burglary was also reported on Memorial Dr. where a door was kicked in and a DVD/VCR combo, a stereo receiver, TV and an X box were taken.
Arrests 12/28/06 Charles Maskas of Texas was arrested on Hwy 79S for driving on a revoked driver's license. Cherish Rodrigues of Hidden Acres was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Criminal Littering was reported to the Sheriff's office. According to deputies the trash contained a name. The person could not be contacted and the matter was turned over to C.I.D. for further investigation. A burglary was reported on Woodland Dr. The latch was pried from a shop door. Found missing was a toolbox, assorted tools and a leaf blower. Arrests 12/27/06 Arrested Christmas Day and held without bond was Paul Beal of Saywers Mill Rd. for failure to appear. Jerry Barlow of Springville was arrested Christmas Eve at Eagle Food Store for underage consumption. Cristy Lamb of Cottage Grove was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Jacob Lackey of Wilson St. was picked upon a capias out of General Sessions Court. Larry Raines of Henry was charged with criminal impersonation. David Snider of Springville was arrested on Washington St. Christmas Eve for DUI and Violation of the implied consent law. Mitsi Townsend of Old Union Rd. was arrested on Hwy 79 in Routon for possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of the seat belt law and criminal impersonation. Staci Charles of Caledonia St. was arrested at Bottom's Up for public intoxication. Noel Perkins of Cliffty Village Lane was arrested in the parking lot of Bottom's Up for underage consumption. Terry Burge and April Mathis of Big Sandy were charged at the Emergency room of HCMC for public intoxication. Mary Irvine of Puryear was held without bond for domestic assault. Joseph Aldrige of Pitt St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Jerry Bearde of Bean Ln. was charged with DUI, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Paris Police arrested Holly Locke of Dresden and Robert Peterson of Palmersville were stopped on W. Wood St. Saturday. Peterson who was known to officers for his past drug involvement was charged with unlawful possession of weapons and his passenger, Locke, was charged with possession of legend drugs. Several unloaded guns were discovered in the trunk and a loaded weapon in the vehicle plus several rounds of ammo. Found over the weekend by Adam's Rd. and turned into the sheriff's office was a box containing items used in a meth lab. The box contained glass containers and oxygen tanks. A burglary was reported from Wiles Welding on Monday. The door to the shed had been pried open and missing was a generator and other items. Deputies reported discovering footprints in the mud by the shop.
Arrest 12/23/06 On Dec.21 the Metro Crime Unit, the Henry County Sheriff's Office and the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant at 716 Memorial Drive Lot #3 in Paris. Officers located cocaine, bagged for resale, along with digitals scales. Officers also located Xanax and marijuana bagged for resale. Patricia and Daniel Driver along with a juvenile , all residents of 716 Memorial Drive were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell. Daniel had the additional charge of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and Patricia had the additional charge of possession of Xanax with intent to sell. Other arrests included Michelle Valenziano of Minor St. was charged with child abuse and neglect. Gary Collins of Curtis St. was charged with a felony aggravated burglary. Elvis Bay of Dunlap St. was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Joshua Sanders of Henderson Dr. was charged with violation of probation out of General Sessions Court. Tony Thomas of Paris was arrested on Wood St. and charged with disorderly conduct. Theft of $5,000 from TriGas was reported. The money was discovered missing after a former employee left. Arrests 12/22/06 Carol Evans of Shady Lawn was charged with a 2nd DUI, a 7th driving on a revoked driver's license, speeding, possession of a scheduled 6 drug and violation of the implied consent law. James Mayo of Powell St. was arrested and held without bond for failure to appear, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the open container law. Glen Webb of N Brewer St was arrested Wednesday and charged with domestic assault. Michael Oliver of Old Dresden Highway was charged with driving on a revoked driver's license. Kathleen Rogers was arrested at Pocket's and charged with public intoxication. Eric Pack of Old Paris Murray Rd. was held without bond on a capias for violation of community correction. Dustin Kreitz or Springville was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug. Arrests 12/21/06
In a special call press conference Wednesday morning Henry County Sheriff Monty Belew along with Lt. Stan Pinson and Investigator Mark Anderson of the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force displayed items seized in a drug bust Tuesday evening at around 7pm at 610 Brewer Street that resulted in the arrest of 7 people. 6 of the arrested were males, the 7th was a female juvenile. The raid uncovered 2 pounds of marijuana, an '8 ball' of crack cocaine, 3 fully loaded guns, ammunition and $582 in cash. Also seized was a 1996 Suburban. According to Anderson the raid was the result of informant information he had received. Two of the guns, a .38 hand gun and a .12 gage Mossberg shotgun were marked as property of the KY State Police, although a check showed they were not listed as stolen, but according to Belew where old and had probably been sold several times. Pinson stated that the shotgun had been loaded with buckshot and slugs that would tear up a protective vest and break a rib on impact. 9 officers were involved in the bust and included 4 deputies, 3 Paris Police officers and 2 task force officers. Arrested were Roshod Phelps of 610 N. Brewer St. who was charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent to sell or deliver, possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent to sell or deliver, unlawful possession of weapons and possession of drug paraphernalia. Virgil Howard of Washington Court, Gary Sanders of Anderson Ln, Lavell Bond of Manley St., Dandrea James of Henderson Ln. and Emmitt Jones of Jones Bend Rd. Extension were all charged with possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bonds for each were set at $2500. Other arrests included Stephanie Ballard of Mansfield for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the seat belt law. Kyle Grisson of Henry was charged with failure to appear. Joann Williams of Depot St. was charged with violation of probation. Jamie Hillard of Greenfield TN was charged in court with filing a false police report. According to the victim they did not steal a vehicle as claimed but had permission to use the vehicle, which Hillard later admitted was true. David Chilcutt of Laural Ln. was held without bond for domestic assault.
Arrests 12/20/06 Josh Sanders of Henderson Dr. was arrested at Pockets for underage consumption. Kevin Roberts of Henry was charged with failure to appear. Marvin Long of Mansfield was charged with theft of property under $500. Charles Stanfill of New Concord was charged with violation of probation out of Circuit Court. Kim Abney of Palestine Rd. was arrested at the Department of Children's Services with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Crystal Roberts of Reynolds St. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Charles Bowers of Henry Midway Rd. was charged with domestic assault and vandalism. Charles Patton of Wynn St. was held without bond for failure to appear. David Sines of Outback Dr. was charged with violation of the bad check law. Thomas Thomas of Old Paris Murray Rd. was arrested at Harrison Meadows was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the seat belt law. A burglary was reported on Palestine Rd. The resident stated that while she was in jail someone had entered her residence and stolen $70 worth of food items. Theft of a wallet, checkbook, 2 credit cards and $50 in cash was reported at Plumley. The theft was discovered when the employee went on break.
Arrests 12/19/06 Edward Wilson of Dover was charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law. Gary Long of Cottage Grove was arrested on State Line Rd. for a 2nd DUI and violation of the implied consent law. Brady Orr of Murray was stopped on Hwy 641N for underage possession and consumption, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Laura Jones of Ledbetter Ky and Rickie Cornwell also of Ledbetter KY were arrested on Saturday and charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug. Matthew Hooten of Camden was arrested on TWRA land and charged with public intoxication. Shaw Williams of Jim Merrell Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended drivers license. Jeremy Page of Erin was held without bond for 3 counts of failure to appear and 3 count of violation of the bad check law. Shannon Hodge of Huntingdon was arrested for driving on a suspended driver's license. Jeffry Childress of Murray was arrested on Hwy 641N by Puryear Police Chief Paschall for possession of a legend drug and simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug with intent. Joseph Garner of Union City was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Traci Turner of Hardin KY was arrested on Hwy 641N for DUI. Kevin Taylor of Hill Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Charles Hayner of Jones Bend Rd. was charged with DUI. Jonathan Gatewood of Wynn St. was arrested on Hwy 79S for possession of a scheduled 2 drug. He was found walking down 79 at 3:30 am intoxicated and with a vile of meth. A check showed that he had outstanding warrants in Clarksville and Montgomery County Arrests 12/16/06 Dustin Kreitz, 17, of Springville was arrested on Mansard Island Dr. for felony evading arrest, felony reckless endangerment, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, theft of property under $500, and criminal littering. He was also charged with violation of the muffler law and violation of the light law. Officer's noticed Kreitz had a head light out and the muffler was loud. Officers attempted to stop him but he kept going, traveling at a high rate of speed. He continued running from the deputies going through traffic signals at several intersections. He was also observed throwing items out of the window of the moving truck. After several miles the truck came to a stop. The two juvenile passengers were turned over to parents. Christina Roach of Short Rd. was charged with aggravated assault. Marcus McClain of Yates St. was charged with possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ricky Allen of Bunn School Rd. was held without bond as a fugitive from justice. Anton Willis of Centralia Ill was held without bond on 2 counts of violation of probation. Tricia Page of W. Wood St. was held without bond on 2 counts of failure to appear and 5 counts of violation of the bad check law. A home invasion was reported to the sheriff's office around 11am Friday morning. According to the complainant he had been tied up and left lying on the floor of his residence on Hwy 140S. The alleged incident, according to the victim, caused him to be cut when the invaders broke out a window to gain entry. EMS was called to the scene. He stated that the aslant wore a black face mask and boots.

Douglas and Carla Smith , both of Dobbins St. were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Other arrests included Melanie Conger of Lone Oak Rd. was arrested on Elizabeth St. for disorderly conduct, assault and vandalism. Christopher Rick of Hill Rd. was charged with failure to appear. Adam Evans of Cornerstone Dr. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license, evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Peter Wernimont of Lankford Rd. was arrested at E&W Electric for theft of property over $500. violation of sentence. Susan Fry of Camden was charged at Walgreens with drug fraud and simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug . A 34 ft. 2006 Jayco travel trailer with 2 pop outs was stolen from a storage unit on Hwy 79N. The trailer was valued at $20,000.
Arrests 12/14/06 Ashley Woodruff of Thompson St. was held without bond for domestic assault. James Greer of Springville was charged with DUI and violation of financial responsibility. An aggravated burglary was reported to the sheriff's office by a Springville resident. Found missing was a jewelry box containing diamond rings, wedding rings, bracelets, diamond earrings an inscribed pocket watch. Also missing was a .22 cal. semi automatic rifle. The missing items were valued at $1,000. Theft of property from a vehicle parked at the Club Erotica was reported. A Fender Guitar, amp and 2 mics were taken. Pry marks were found on the door of the vehicle. A stolen TWRA john boat was recovered. The boat was taken to Copeland Metals and sold for scrap metal. The boat was full of holes on the bottom and sides. Arrests 12/13/06 Myren McCrary of Murray was held without bond on charged in General Sessions Court for failure to appear. Shaunna Sundoual, 26, of Salem Circle was charged with violation of probation and theft of property under $500. James Purdy of Paris was held without bond and charged with a 2nd DUI, a 2nd driving on a revoked driver's license and assault on an officer. School Resource Officer Buford Taylor responded to Grove when a student threw a chair at another student in the lunch room. The student was charged with assault. Buford also responded to a call of a student who had put items on 'My Space' web site where the student had put graphic drawings of cutting the other student's head off and her arm. On Dec. 8 officers of the Paris Police Dept. along with the Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call at Hulmes Sporting Goods on Hwy 641S that a vehicle was being broken into by a subject in a black ski mask and the subject had left the scene after pointing a hand gun at the victim. After giving out a description of the vehicle it was spotted by Deputy Jamie Myrick and stopped. Myrick found evidence in the vehicle and placed Zachariah Collision ,who's drivers license lists him as living in Camden but is believed to have moved to Henry County, under arrest. During the investigation Collision also stated that just prior to breaking into the vehicle he had robbed a home on Reynoldsburg Rd. In his vehicle officers located the 22 cal pistol, the black ski mask, burglary tools, along with 10 long guns, some dating back to WWII, from the Reynoldsburg residence as well as prescription medicine from there. Other items included 2 car radios, CD's, a play station, a set of postal scales, cases of beer and some marijuana. The 18 year old later that evening attempted to escape from the jail. Collision was charged with 4 counts of aggravated assault, burglary of an auto, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug, possession of burglary tools, possession of a weapon/firearm with intent and underage possession and consumption of alcohol. Other arrests included Amanda Qualls of Henry with underage possession and consumption. Vella Whitehead of Riggins St. was charged with a 2nd driving on a revoked driver's license. Duane McCormick of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged with domestic assault. Jason Haynes of Henry was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. Ashley Wells of Jeffrey Ln. was charged with domestic assault. Francis Aragon of Rison St. was arrested for shoplifting. Donjatese Turner of Blythe St. was charged with underage consumption. Kevin Mayfield of Mansfield was charged with escape and theft of property and failure to appear over the weekend when he took off running after climbing the fence at the jail. Rebecca Raddell of Hwy 77 was held without bond on 2 counts of failure to appear and instituting escape. Anthon Parker of Bruceton was charged as a habitual motor vehicle offender, evading arrest, droving on a revoked drivers license. Arrests 12/09/06 Kevin Graf of New Concord KY was arrested on Rowe School Rd for driving on a suspended driver's license and DUI. Graf was observed by officers leaving the area of Spider's and the 641 Club. He was weaving across the center line and not holding a steady speed. Candy Arnold of Wildersville TN was held without bond for failure to appear. A break in was reported at the KOA Camp off of Hwy 79. A garage door was opened and it appeared that items had been gone through although nothing was found missing. Arrests 12/08/06 Timothy Vandyke of Mc Globin St. was charged with theft of property and theft of property over $500. An attempted theft of Christmas decorations on Rabbit Creek Rd. was reported to the Henry County Sheriff's Office. When the resident yelled at the would be thieves the van sped off toward Hwy 119. The vehicle had been seen earlier around Point Pleasant Rd. Arrests 12/07/06 Charles Carter III of Harrison St. was charged with theft under $500. The arrest occurred at Wal-Mart. Victoria Taylor of Hill Rd. was charged with failure to appear and violation of the bad check law. Shana Gallion of Hwy 79S was arrested at the Little General on Tyson Ave. on a warrant for theft of property. William Brock of McKenzie was arrested on Hwy 79S for driving on a suspended driver's license and reckless driving. The arrest occurred when Brock was observed doing donuts in the Club Erotica parking lot. Mary Wilson of Pennsylvania Ave. was cited by Cpl Forrest for reckless driving. She was observed passing in a no pass zone with her emergency flashers on. When she was finally stopped by the Deputy she stated that she was an employee of HCMC and had to perform an emergency procedure at the Hospital. She was informed that even ambulance driver's did not drive as recklessly as she had been. Floyd Slaughter Jr. of Lone Oak Rd. was arrested on Wood St. for possession of drug paraphernalia. Brooke West of Harrison Ln. was held without bond for failure to appear. Michael Evans of Hollow Rock was arrested on Wynn St. for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.. Douglas Ferguson of Vandyke Rd. was arrested on a warrant for forgery. Corey Clayton of Blakemore St. was arrested on Park St. for disorderly conduct. Randy Parker of Terry Ln. was arrested by Scott Mart for DUI, violation of the open container law and underage possession. Brian Hicks of Puryear was arrested by Chief Paschall for DUI. Michael Adams of Mayfield was charged with DUI. Brittany Murray of Nikki Ln was arrested on Rison St. for simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug. William Cook Jr. of Valleywood Dr was arrested on Wynn St. on a felony possession of a scheduled 2 drug with intent. Derrick Chatman of Buchanan was arrested on Riggins St. for underage possession and consumption. Terry Jackson of Cooper St. was held without bond for underage possession. William Jenkins of W. Main was arrested on Poplar St. for simple possession of a scheduled 2 drug. John Baker of Puryear was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Andre Easley of Clifton St. was charged with assault and resisting arrest. Matthew Spencer of Old Paris Murray Rd. was charged at the Henry County Jail with introduction of a weapon and vandalism. Mark Vestal of Park St. was arrested at Grove Apts. for public intoxication. Tonya Wallace of Jackson Dr. was charged with simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jason Wood of Farmington KY was arrested on Hwy 641 by Chief Paschall for public intoxication, possession of scheduled 6 drug and carrying a weapon. Adam Lampkins of Lone Oak Rd. was arrested near Henry County High School for simple possession of a scheduled 2 dug, simple possession of a scheduled 4 drug, simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Theft of $5,174 was reported to the sheriff's office. A check was written to pay for church pews and was cashed instead of being used to purchase the pews. Vandalism was reported to 2 drink machines at business on Hwy 79 at Smith Tire Barn and at Frame Makers where a window was also busted. Arrests 11/02/06 Joe Hart of Hickory KY was charged with public intoxication. John Allen of Hwy 69N was arrested at E.W. James for violation of an order of protection. Davy Manners of Buchanan was arrested in the parking lot of Matt's Pub for a 2nd DUI and violation of the implied consent law. The arrest occurred when the Sheriff's deputy received a call of a possible drunk driver on Hwy 79. Manners was followed into the parking lot where a TWRA officer also answered the call. Manners was found to be very intoxicated and smelling of alcohol and refused the sobriety test. Keith Bomar of Lee St. was arrested for domestic assault. Derrick Foust of Ogburn St. was arrested on Brewer St. for Public Intoxication. Arrests 12/01/06 Derrick Foust of Ogburn St. was arrested on Brewer St. for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. John Baker of Kent Rd. along with John Edwards of Wynn St. were arrested on Minor St., Baker for simple possession of a scheduled 6 drug and driving on a suspended driver's license. Edwards for violation of probation. Bobby Abney of Palestine Rd. was charged with driving on a suspended driver's license. A vehicle and train crash was reported by the Sheriff's office. The crash occurred around 1:15pm Wednesday on Hwy 641N by State Line Metals in Puryear. The vehicle which had one occupant was towing a vehicle and crossed in front of the moving train, striking the car. There were no injuries. |
